The day of the appointment he was a few hours late showing up due to truck trouble, but he and a couple family guys showed and made short work of the tree, piling all the wood into his long trailer. Jeff was very safety conscious and no damage came from the tall limbs coming down. It was nice to see a fellow work carefully and not show off. The crew cleaned up everything, except for some saw dust. Jeff cut the trunk close to the ground, but was not able to cut it clear to the ground. He took a photo of the remaining part and sent my phone number to a fellow he knows that does stump grinding at a reasonable price. Over all, we are very pleased with the result.

Jeff responded to my message asking for a quote almost immediately. He came over that evening to look at the trees and gave us an estimate that same night. Both my husband and I really felt that this was an honest and trustworthy person from the very first time we met him. Our instincts were right on!!! The job was done within two weeks. Cut down trees, limbs, leaves, and many trunks chipped into piles for us to use as well. We had some pretty big trees leaning in tricky angles. Jeff knew exactly how to set everything up to avoid hitting anything on our property. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. His family accompanies him: wife, brothers, kids. Jeff and his family worked hard and did an excellent job. There were NO issues at all. They ended up coming back a few weeks later because we decided to take down a couple more trees. He then said he would send us a report for the amount we could make now or in five years. He never sent us any communication, and I have left messages on his e-mail and cellphone. He then had another logger text us to say that Adam is too busy to log and so he can do it. What???? we do not even know what it is worth. So very unprofessional for a business to make promises and then never communicate back to you after calls and emails were sent to you. If it turned out not to be worth your while, you could have communicated that to us!!!!

Forced to slow down due to car in front of me, again, in the slow lane. At least the other big rig could pull further forward. Once your logger truck got in the center lane, they continued to drive dangerously close to the other big rig and then pass them when they could all to just head back into the right lane to take the Kalama exit. Had they just stayed in the right lane without tailgating, (for the three miles this all took) they wouldn't have freaked out everyone on the road. I have pictures of the license plate and am happily calling this in. Nobody wants to die on the freeway due to this kind of thing.

Although the area he finished appeared satisfactory, one side of the house and half the driveway were left untouched and strewn with debris. Upon raising this issue, he argued about the scope and tried to upsell to complete the 4th side of the house and the other half of the driveway. I paid the full $250 bid and feel cheated. I'll know who not to call next time the wind blows... UPDATED: Reply to Business Owner Who requests cleanup on only three sides of the house, or only half the driveway? Nobody. Not sure where your head was at but finishing the job in fifteen minutes and receiving a handsome holiday tip would have made a lot more sense than arguing about it with the guy who's about to pay you. Life got in the way and we failed to keep them trimmed, resulting in some 20-YO trees with a general lifespan of 20 years or so years and a very shallow root system towering well over our 2-story home and the neighbors". They said this was just a standard job to them, but I was in awe of the skill it took to somehow carefully and safely remove these huge bushy giants situated in such a precarious tight space. They arrive before dawn and stay until dark. We and our neighbors are now safe in a storm, and they even included the grinding of all of the stumps to the point that you can hardly tell these trees were ever here. They had been doing a lot of work in our neighborhood in the aftermath of the wind storm of 2024 so we ask them to take out a large tree in our backyard that was leaning toward our neighbor's house. Dorian gave us a quick estimate that was a little lower than we expected/feared and he squeezed us into the schedule to get it done the next day. They are friendly, easy to work with, very careful in their work, and do a great job of cleaning up after the job is done. For the price, we figured they were not grinding the stump based on our experience with other services, but they spent quite a bit of time grinding down the stump and a lot of the big roots that ran out from it.
