So then I drove an hour and a half to hand deliver a water sample. Again after 4 weeks no response or results. I called and was told he had the results and would forward. The gentleman on the phone was friendly and able to schedule my appt a few days out. I looked up the type of filter I had and it was priced around 45-60$ on amazon. The cost of someone one coming out to change the filter was 99$. I asked, "Does the cost include the filter?" and he said "yes." On the day of the appt two gentle men showed up early to do the filter change. It literally took 5 minutes. They then asked for 182.83$! So it's not 99$ + tax. The filter is a separate price at about 70$ and the rest is labour,etc. The two gentlemen were friendly and efficient but I do think when you ask someone what the "cost of changing a filter out" that in includes a new filter and the labor. Please do not tell people it costs 99$, rather the cost of filter and the labor is "x" for the filter and labor is "Y". Next, time I'm doing it my self.
