    Shrimp and octopus molcayete.
    Robert G.

Nice place in a tourist area. Enjoyed the shrimp and octopus molcayete. The smoking lava bowl was a neat touch, but the food was excellent. The beer was reasonably priced too. The chips and salsa were disappointing, but not the reason we went.

Gringo here and skeptical and paranoid. And a Father! When I walked in I was a little worried because we have all heard the horror stories! It was spring break and the vibe was great. Lots of young beautiful people for our kids to go dance and party with. Great music! I danced the entire night! No fights, decent pours and we all had a great time

Even though people had mixed reviews I figure I give it a try since it was close.. Well.. Restaurant was empty. I'm guessing it used to be hopping place at one point.. Server was polite... But it made me laugh when he told me it was going to be a bit since he had to make the salsa and guacamole.. But guac did not taste fresh and did not have anything in it other then smashed avacado.. Salsa wasn't too bad... But I don't know about him "just making it.". Ordered aquachile.. Which was not too bad.. Better than some of the other place I had. The Carne Asada taco was OK.. Shrimp cocktail not too bad.. The shrimp dishes with sauce on it was so so. I don't even remember the names of the dishes but definitely not worth it. I would definitely not come back here again.. For those who might think same as me.. I would definitely pass.. Pricier then the other places and so many better restaurants in the area.

This place was just ok, the nachos had canned cheese (no bueno), the shrimp. ceviche was good but the tostadas they serve it with kept breaking, making it a task to enjoy. The waiters were kind and easy on the eyes but the chips and salsa I ordered came with a small hair (grossed me out) so I had to send them back. This place was close to our condo and we stopped there to eat on our way out. The best part was the fresh shrimp which is kind of normal for Mexico.

Very touristy, lots of americans, feels safe. Nice pool / outdoor seating area! Weird that they were playing american music and not spanish though, made it not feel as mexico vibey. Good service. Food was ok. I got the fish tacos and they were breaded and cut up, not deep friend, so it tasted kinda dry and plain. Fried ice cream was bomb! HUGE serving in a crispy cinnamon crisp!

Super tasty and great sea food. It is walking distance from the Senoran Sea Resort which is where we were staying. It makes going here very convenient and easy. Portions are good, and the prices are reasonable. The soups, tacos, and tostadas are super tasty. Love the shrimp and octopus here. I would not suggest the fish and chips. Fries are good, but the fish is dry.

This spot turned out to be pretty good. We were set out to have Pollo Lucas for lunch when we learned they are closed on Wednesday's. This was close to our resort and the menu seemed good.

We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The young girl who took care of us was great! She was friendly & super sweet. Hubby got a Michelada & added a shot of Tito's since there was no alcohol in the tomato juice part of the drink. He said it was really good. My sangria was good. It's made with pineapple juice. We ordered the chips & salsa. We also ordered the guacamole. The chips & salsa were good. I was happy there was no heat in the salsa since I am a huge whimp when it comes to spicy food. The guacamole was really good after we added some salt & lime juice. I normally don't eat guacamole, but I liked it too. We went "out of our box" & tried the whole fried fish. We split it. We asked her to add rice & beans if it didn't come with it. It was huge. The fish was fried perfectly! Hubby loved it. I liked it too. It was moist. The rice was good. The refried beans were excellent! I don't know what they do, but the texture & flavor was the best we have ever had. I loved them. We will definitely make this place are go to when we come down again. Please note tips are cash only in case you don't carry cash!

I have Carlos V shrimp, something new for me. Such generous portions, you'll leave her 10lbs heavier. Allegedly they have dessert but too full to try. Servers were friendly & attentive. Food was made to order, came out hot & super fresh. Can't beat the homemade tortillas. I had the breakfast burrito which was filling I only ate half. Friend had the breakfast skillet which was piping hot. The pancake was buttermilk & very tasty. Only thing was, I didn't see a bathroom but once outside, I noticed there were stairs to go upstairs where they do karaoke. Maybe the bathroom is up there. They accept cash & cards. Would recommend!

Our service was excellent: timely and efficient. Our meal consisted of Guacamole with Chips to start, Coconut Shrimp and 3-Flags Enchiladas with two glasses of Red Wine (sorry, no varietal description). The chef/cook must have prepared all the courses on-site because everything was prepared and cooked perfectly, and the plates reflected the expertise. $39 for the meal before the tip. As mentioned in a prior post, the restaurant is on Calle 13 across the the Hotel Señorial. After having driven past this block at least a hundred times, I'm amazed we just now tried this restaurant. We'll be back, repeatedly.

Pollo Lucas has been in the community for decades and they seem like a staple related to fresh chicken in the town. Similarly to other places, there are vendors and men outside who want cash for helping you park. The seating inside offers a lot of spots, but vendors do come inside and ask if you're interested in purchasing other goods. This restaurant does take card payments, but prefer cash/pesos. Most of the workers do not know English, so be prepared and know at least some basic Spanish words beforehand. If not, it'll still be okay! The women at the counter were very kind and helped us get seated. My group shared one chicken (240 pesos) with rice, beans, and salsas. I grabbed a homemade juice that was yummy too. Note that the chicken comes with cabbage, onion, salsa, limes, and tortillas but the other sides are seperate. The chicken was so hot, fresh, and flavorful. Everything was delicious and we ate it all with no leftovers. The chicken is charbroiled and you can see it all cooking. It made it hard to wait for the food, as it smelled amazing, but it's worth the wait. We'd 100% come back again.
