    Fish tacos

Took a pit stop and decided to have some lunch at Pancho's. We were in the mood for some tacos and saw the great reviews, so decided to give it a try. The prices are great and well worth it for the amount of food you get. I was honestly surprised because some of the local restaurants aren't much cheaper from back home. We tried to sit outside for a bit, but eventually it was too humid. Thankfully they have AC inside, but the view outside is soo worth it. We opted for the fish tacos on corn tortillas and we had a liter of horchata. The fish tacos had a thin layer of batter which was nice because you ended up with a nice crunchy fried piece of fish, instead of soggy. They included some pieces of lettuce and avocado on top. Wish it would have been slaw instead, adds for a better crunch/texture. But overall they had good flavor and I would have them again. The horchata was super tasty and worth it to get a liter, but man was it sweet. We had to water it down a bit, but it was one of the most flavorful horchatas I've had. We would definitely come back again.

Food was amazing, service was great the daughter of the owner Marie, sat right above the water,

Aguachile shrimp only- 4.5 stars. Get it extra spicy: and the mixto has more variety and is better than this shrimp only. Legit AF.

I have a preference for the "hole in the wall" when I'm traveling because usually that's where I can try the more authentic dishes. The open kitchen view at the entry may intimidate some, but it was nice to get a glimpse of how they're cooking. The shrimp looked juicy and plump. Our waiter recommended the ceviche but I didn't listen the first time and ended up with the fried coconut shrimp. It was good but it paled in comparison to my friend's aguachile mixto- a shrimp and scallop mixed plate ceviche. The sauce was out of this world amazing, and maybe because he asked for extra spicy it just hit different. We also got the whole fried fish. Definitely legit as well. Went back a second time for a redemption meal 'cuz I just had to get that aguachile for myself. I got the shrimp only. Didn't hit as hard as the mixto but it was still legit. Plus , I was also holding back due to the food poisoning from another restaurant a few days prior so I had this unshakable fear stunting my eating abilities. If you've somehow been food poisoned and want to play safe, I highly recommend the cooked fish--devil's cooked fish. Dang. It seriously tasted like Korean food to me. It's got some red peppers with garlic and just full of flavor. If you're gonna get a drink, do something different and get a strawberry Fanta, or their ginormous lime soda or their horchata. Just the size of the cup will get you giddy before the juice hits your tongue. Salvador (the chef) and his wife were amazing and we had a blast chit chatting with them.

We have been coming to Pancho's every time we come to Rocky Point. It never disappoints! They now have tiled floors instead of the shells. My hubby gets at least two orders of the steamed clams and I'm a purist with the ceviche. The servers are so polite and helpful. The best part about this restaurant is that they get your seafood right from their fish market. It can't be any fresher!!!!

Great place to stop and eat some fresh seafood. A bit small and cumbersome but worth the stop. Oysters, Ceviche de pescado , ceviche de camarón, fried whole fish and garlic octopus. Yummy! The service was excelente. The ambiance was perfect even though it was humid outside. Watching the ocean waves crash against the rocks and seagulls hanging out made it a perfect humid day to eat outside.

We stopped in here after being stopped on the street. Thought it would be a quick bite of tacos. But we had more and it was really pleasant. The severs were nice and helpful. And the food was good. We sat watching the water and eating tacos

The absolute BEST food and service as well as ambiance. We've been coming here for many years, and we LOVE IT!!

As good as it gets in the Malecon! Fresh, authentic, tasty food served with excellent drinks & friendly service. Choose comfortable air conditioning on a hot day or sit open-air seaside on the balcony. Nothing fancy, but excellent value for money - 5 solid stars!

I would give this place a 100/5 stars if I could! You haven't had an authentic margarita until you've had one of theirs. Their shrimp ceviche is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Don't let the size of this establishment fool you, their authenticity and hospitality will bring out your inner latina/latino. I have been here twice now and the consistency of perfection is on point. Can't wait to go back!

We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The young girl who took care of us was great! She was friendly & super sweet. We ordered the chips & salsa. We also ordered the guacamole. The chips & salsa were good. I was happy there was no heat in the salsa since I am a huge whimp when it comes to spicy food. The guacamole was really good after we added some salt & lime juice. I normally don't eat guacamole, but I liked it too. We went "out of our box" & tried the whole fried fish. We split it. We asked her to add rice & beans if it didn't come with it. It was huge. The fish was fried perfectly! Hubby loved it. I liked it too. It was moist. The rice was good. Pollo Lucas has been in the community for decades and they seem like a staple related to fresh chicken in the town. Similarly to other places, there are vendors and men outside who want cash for helping you park. The seating inside offers a lot of spots, but vendors do come inside and ask if you're interested in purchasing other goods. This restaurant does take card payments, but prefer cash/pesos. Most of the workers do not know English, so be prepared and know at least some basic Spanish words beforehand. If not, it'll still be okay! The women at the counter were very kind and helped us get seated. My group shared one chicken (240 pesos) with rice, beans, and salsas. I grabbed a homemade juice that was yummy too.
