    Shrimp taco

The food is always so fresh here! Definitely a MUST GO for seafood in Rocky Point. From the ceviche to the tacos, top tier. The owner is awesome.

Left Tuna mango ceviche tostada and Right pulpo ceviche tostada. Don't recommend either

Three stars for the amazing service everyone is so friendly and I forgot my glasses there and they kindly held onto them and gave them back to me once we came back after a couple hours very very sweet family. Fish tacos are really good but I will say the Pulpo(Octopus) Ceviche tostadas and the tuna mango tostadas did not sit well with me. The pulpo (Octopus) was very hard and over boiled and the tuna did not look like tuna I am not sure what part of the fish this was but I have never seen tuna that looks so pink and mushy I was so confused. But I definitely felt like I might have caught some food poisoning from it. Very unfortunate I wanted to love it as much as the service but I was not for it.

We went here at around 2 p.m. The food was alright but not the best shrimp tacos. The salsa they give you beforehand was really spicy and I liked it a lot. The fish taco was just ok. Also there were tons of flies everywhere. I expect some flies being outside but holy cow. I definitely recommend giving it a try but I'm still on the hunt for a better ceviche/shrimp taco place.

It's an experience to dine on this sidewalk as the Barrel street style vendor. Very mom&pop like most places in MX. The service was slow just get our drinks & we were exhausted from the days activities so not very happy. It took 15-30 before our food was served. The tostada chips were very stale. Variety of salsa. Shaded bench and table seating area. Also a few bar seats at the barrel. BYOB you can bring your own BEER they do have prepared Clamato for a michi. The food is as fresh as it gets. It's prepared right there in the barrel and served straight to you. They were out of Ceviche bummer! Do get: The shrimp tacos are Baja style fried so. Not crispy/breaded. A light flaky crisp w/ cabbage & chipotle sauce add some lemon and you have your self an incredible fish Taco delight on 2 corn tortillas. (I asked for no sour cream or pico) We all enjoyed the shrimp Aguachiles and they're in red sauce, my first time trying them in red but they were delicious fresh and juicy with a little kick of spice. My friend loved the fish tacos. Parking along the streets. No RR. live music was provided by these young local kids with some pipes For being so young & they take requests.

Walking up to the location, the food truck itself was unique in shape and size and built up my excitement for this experience. It's a food truck that looks like a giant giant barrel on the side of the street. It's a pretty cool site to see for a street vendor. Everything about the aguachile mixto, tostada sinoraense, and cocktails were amazing. Each juice was slightly different to taste and had a perfect blend of savory, spice, and lime to their individual flavor profile (which was perfect for our hangover cure). That and add in the taste of sweet ocean aroma. Everything was fresh as can be, and even prepared to order (keep that in mind if you have a big group because it does take a while for entrees to be served). I just have to say the aguachile was lacking in the lime department still good but I do like my aguachile more on the sour side. Best dish had to go to the tostada sonorense because the flavor of that juice was more bolder and intense to taste. I also ordered two fish tacos and that, however, was a disappointment. It was over battered in a batter that didn't have much flavor to it, and on top of that, it was pretty soft - I would of like to have more crunch. In general taco wasn't very well seasoned and dressed... pretty plain tasting overall. The Clamato is out of this world! So tasty! Perfect ratio of tomato juice and lime and sweet chili powder. Only downside is they don't add beer but there's an oxxo 3-5 minutes away (walking) which you could by beer from and bring back. Lastly, portions are pretty big. I ordered medium for my dish and could not finish with the tacos.

Food and services was great. Come back here everytime I'm in peñasco. If you order anything with a coconut they give you the water in a bag with straw

We were very excited to try this place cuz of the reviews and love for mariscos. The food was good but not great. I had a better campechana coctel in a restaurant at malecone, the shrimp taco was good though, the marlin taco was pretty great as well, but the fried fish taco was trash, it was over cooked and rubbery. The salsa they give u with the chips is spiccyyyy but vert tasty. Its outdoor sitting so if you have a problem with flies around then this is not the place for you. I didnt mind it, but my gf was put off from it.

So we went to this food truck based on the reviews. We ordered 3 shrimp cocktails and 2 large orders of aguachiles to go. The shrimp cocktails were good but the star was the aguachiles. Each order will feed 4 people as an appetizer. The shrimp were fresh and the sauce they were sitting in was spicy. The shrimp weren't raw/cooked using citrus juice like traditional aguachiles but were delicious none the less. They were so good that we returned the next day and had them as an appetizer by the pool. It's a family owned business and the entire staff is very welcoming and attentive. Can't speak for the rest of the menu but if you like aguachiles, this is a great option. We also tried the mixed aguachiles that has shrimp, octopus and other stuff but we preferred the all shrimp plate.

Outdoor, flies around but the flavor of that campechana was spot on! It had avocados and this yummy dark Chile sauce... It was a good size and i still wish it was bigger-so much yum!! My husband says theyre overpriced and he didn't think his ceviche dish was all that good but because my food was delicious, I have to give them 4 stars because I plan on coming back! They had breaded shrimp and fish tacos and my kids didn't really eat them but I tried them and they were decent. They are pricey but I guess that's because seafood, though plentiful here, is still expensive even for locals.

This place was hard to find on foot! The location it takes you to on yelp is not correct. But when we finally found it, it was ohhh so delicious!! Get the Tostada!!

We ordered the Vampiro with papas (285 pesos), a carne asada taco (40 pesos), and a quesadilla with carne (70 pesos) and 2, 12-ounce Mexican Cokes (60 pesos). Altogether, we spent $22.22 for lunch. We noticed on this trip that Rocky Point prices were very similar to what we were spending in the United States. This place is very clean and we sat at the inside dining. Note: they only take cash here, DO NOT order assuming you can use a debit card. They are generous with the topping tray, which includes: lettuce, 2 salsa, an avocado sauce, limes, and cucumbers. To be honest, these are large portions and we would have been full with just the Vampiro with potatoes. The Cokes with real cane sugar are always better than our American ones with high fructose corn syrup. A small portion of the beef was a little grisly with fat. I subtracted one star for this and the fact that they ONLY take cash. This is a decent, clean eatery. They offer their entire menu with either corn or flour tortillas. Pollo Lucas has been in the community for decades and they seem like a staple related to fresh chicken in the town. Similarly to other places, there are vendors and men outside who want cash for helping you park. There is something magical about thinly sliced marinated pork on a vertical spit roasted over flame. My first issue with the pork is it was haphazardly cut with a dull knife and the bigger chunks were excessively chewy. Thin slices are perfect for the fatty pieces because pork needs fat! Not a deal breaker this would have been 5 stars up to this point. My biggest issue is buying almost 2 pounds of meat the condiments were dis-portionate. One and a half limes for this much meat. The shredded cabbage, pico, and cilantro barely covered 7 tacos, we still have 33 more to go. Minus the 20 tortillas they shorted us it was still not enough. Now we are down to 4 stars. Lastly the flavor was lacking. Maybe it is a geographical thing; dunno. What I do know is the tacos @ Rana's in Nogales taste pretty close to the ones @ Delicias in Acapulco 3,500 miles away. This was a boring taco. Maybe I should have got the chicken or carne, but chicken is usually overcooked for tacos. However, next time I will try something else and amend my review if needed.
