What a great find in this area! Welcomed in with a "Welcome home!" by the owner. The service was impeccable - very attentive, friendly, and professional. We ate on the patio for dinner since it was almost sunset and the sky was beautiful. Linen tablecloths & napkins made the casual space a little classier than most in the area. They had jazz on softly so it was very relaxing. A couple local kitties came by the patio, but didn't bother anyone and didn't beg or jump up on anything. A lot of nice seafood choices on the manu, hard to choose. I settled on the herbed flounder with a salad and my husband the coconut shrimp with the shrimp bisque. Both were excellent! The house salad dressing was so good I could have eaten it with a spoon! The fish was nicely cooked and seasoned, rice was really flavorful. Don't miss this lovely, romantic restaurant just off the malecon. Upscale atmosphere. Menu has nice variety of food that everyone can find something to enjoy. I went for the coconut shrimp and was not disappointed. Six large coconut encrusted shrimp with a great sauce served in an artful display. The Shrimp Bisque was delicious and I only regretted I didn't have more. The people do greet you with, "Welcome home," with genuine warmth. We cannot say enough about the food, service, and amazing owner within a warm and inviting setting. I explained I had an allergy to tomatoes and super loved blue crabs. They went out of their way to create a three blue crab dinner for me. I also had steam clams in lime juice and butter, as well as a creatively presented salad. My partner had chipotle shrimp, which he loved, as well as the salad Reservations are recommended and tonight they were cash only. We've eaten in quite a few restaurants here in PP and this was definitely our favorite. Particularly for the price! According to the table next to us, they also make fabulous Cadillac margaritas. The ambiance of this was great for a date night out or even a relaxed dinner with the family! The hospitality by the staff here was great and they make you feel very welcomed. If you're in search of a laid back easy going environment this is where you want to be! No loud music rather some slower jazz like music for a very chill and even romantic vibe depending on the occasion for dining here. Of course you can also have a serenata player for you from local musicians that come offer the service in the restaurant. They've been doing it since 1996! The food itself tasted like it was prepared by a chef from a cooking show or something because everything was delicious, these guys didn't miss on anything. Strongly recommend the pasta or coconut shrimp, the coconut shrimp was the best coconut shrimp I've ever had hands down. The shrimp were huge and the breading wasn't heavy or thick, it was very crisp and has a flaky but crunchy coconut layer outside and the presentation of it in a coconut, AMAZING! The pasta is really the best past I've ever had I'm not exaggerating DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET THE PASTA! I've been to several Italian restaurants in Arizona and this beats them all. My girlfriend ordered pasta and we shared food with one another and left this placed STUFFED. It is near the Malecón but in a quieter side of it across the street from a church and thrifty ice cream. The ingredients that were paired in every plate of food we had were assembled by a kitchen staff that really has a passion for making great food for others. To also mention everything is reasonably priced and the price is great and absolutely fair relative to the hospitality and extremely attentive service. The salad was fresh, cold, and had crispy vegetables. The best part was the dressing and you can really appreciate the effort put into the authenticity and presentation of the food. The calamari is served ring style with a red sauce that is paired great with the cold, freshly cut lemons. The lemonade was very fresh and refreshing with a lightness to it and not at all like a fake lemonade. With the shrimp order I had the choice of a salad or shrimp bisque and I will say I don't regret getting the bisque personally, it was definitely tasting like a warm, homemade, bisque and the shrimp flavor was not overpowering. The waiter will also offer you pepper out of a pepper grinder and the staff is so polite, professional, and hospitable you feel great dining here. The bread and olive oil with garlic was great as the bread was warm and sliced into a couple slices I can respect that they didn't bring a lot of bread out to get full off of bread it was a great appetizer that was include with the meal. I've found one of my new favorite spots in Peñasco, it really is a hidden gem hosted by gentlemen who treat their guests with the best service and we were also greeted by who I believe was the owner he was a very humble and welcoming man as was his staff. We will definitely be stopping by again when we're back in town. If you want to get away from the nightlife and still have a great bite, this is where you want to be. read more

The service, the food, the ambience is everything I wanted when I visited. Puerto peñasco is a seafood town so of course it's required to try a different seafood restaurant each night we were there. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. They definitely didn't over cook their seafood which we all know will be rubbery if they do. We had steamed clams which were brought out with a garlic butter. Garlic lovers this appetizer is a must. I even asked for extra garlic bummer. Yumm. We also has the calamari and scallop ceviche. Again everything was cooked right. Calamari wasn't rubbery. For my main course, I had the shrimp stuffed with bacon and cheese and holy hell was that too good. I want to go back already. My wife enjoyed the shrimp bisque and fresh clams and I had the Flounder. At a table of veterans from the Blue Marlin, they had two beautiful seafood towers and fresh Dungeness crabs! This has been one of my favorite places to eat in Puerto Penasco for years. Ever since they were a simple taco shop in the Malecon. I so miss those fantastic tacos but what they have become is nothing short of an amazing sit down restaurant. The selection of seafood dishes paired with fantastic steaks mean they have something for everyone. Every year that my girlfriend and I are in town for our anniversary we always come here. Never once have I been anything but blown away by the food and fantastic service. Last year when we were in town for a SADR race that I was in as well as our anniversary I called the day before to make sure that they would be open and not slammed. They kindly took our reservation and when we got there we were the only table in the place and they had laid out a white linen tablecloth for us and midway through the meal had a mariachi band come in to serenade us will we dined. This wonderful little restaurant is such a highlight when we come to town. It's an authentic seafood place just off the main avenue. We came here with our group of 5 and ordered just about every combination of shrimp you can imagine. Shrimp quesadilla, coconut shrimp, shrimp cocktail, shrimp Mexican style, Shrimp and seafood soup, butterflied shrimp and steamed clams. Even though I was stuffed, I wanted to keep going. We have been coming to Peñasco for years and have always wanted to try this place. So it was Valentine's Day and we decided to go for dinner. Meet at the door by our wonderful server Ignacio he was a true waiter and you could tell he loved to make you feel at home. Table was cover with red rose pedals for Valentine's very nice touch. We started off with a giant plate of steamed clams with the most amazing butter and garlic sauce. They also served us bread with the same sauce to dip in. We had a bowl of tortilla soup which could have been the best tortilla soup I've ever had. We also had a crab quesadilla with a peanut sauce that was to die for. Sounds kinda weird but it was amazing. Sorry we were so busy eating forgot to get pic of those items. For dessert creme brûlée it was delicious. For an after dinner drink I had a snifter of La Martina extra anejo and chatted with Homero the owner. What a wonderful place and a wonderful experience we'll be coming back soon. read more

We came for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with how good the food and service were! I ordered the fried oysters and flounder. These oysters were so good my friends, like i could just order that and be the happiest girl! Crispy, salty, and perfectly fried, these melted in my mouth and came a great price! Well that and the cilantro sauce they serve on the table that is to die for. You have to try it, even if you don't like cilantro (like me). The flounder itself was alright, but it was wrapped around a crab and red pepper mixture that was....interesting? Not gross but just not cohesive with the dish. If the flounder was served on its own with the sauce it would be perfect, and that is the reason for 4 stars instead of five. Everyone else's food looked delicious! read more

I have to say, these were, hands-down, the BEST tacos I had while in Puerto Peñasco! So glad I found it (thanks to my fellow Yelpers!) The service was incredible... I was hangry by the time I walked in here, frustrated with our group (they kept complaining and wanted to stop elsewhere, but I knew we HAD to try this place), and I realize I was probably a bit short and snippy by the time we arrived (Sorry to the server for having to deal with hangry/snippy me), but he treated us with kindness and patience, and also brought us chips and salsa -- thank you! I was a bit disappointed when we were given our menus and I didn't see tacos on there (although the crab quesadilla caught my eye), but not to worry! They DO indeed have amazing, mouth-watering, fresh, delicious tacos -- including fish (flounder, either grilled or battered/fried), smoked marlin (my favorite! I ordered another one, it was just THAT good!), shrimp (that slept in the ocean the night before they end up on your plate), chicken, and steak. The tacos are served either on corn or flour tortillas, with sides of cabbage, cucumber, pickled onion (so so good), salsa, and limes. I highly recommend Blue Marlin -- you get incredible service, amazingly fresh food at an extremely reasonable price. Adorable little cafe style restaurant in Rocky Point. We opted to sit on the patio with an ocean view and breeze. Definitely felt relaxed and calm compared to the wilder establishments over the fish market. Prompt service and very sweet and friendly waitress and waiter assisted us. We ordered the flounder stuffed with crab, coconut shrimp, Mexican shrimp cocktail. They start you bread served with garlic butter. Then came our typical Mexican shrimp cocktail appetizer. Small at $4.75. Enough for two. Our entrees were next. A huge pile of large coconut shrimp with rice pilaf, mango salsa and drizzled in pina colada sauce. My mouth was in heaven! BF ordered the flounder stuffed with crab, also amazingly delicious! Both entrees cost roughly around $10-11 each. Insane as it would be double the price here in Phoenix/Scottsdale and nowhere near as fresh. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in Rocky PT. Mucho Bueno! read more
