We went to try this place based on reviews and pictures of food. Such a disappointment. Food is mediocre, or should I say more like bad. We wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view. Server was so committed to convince us to sit outside so she doesn't have to go "far" to serve us. She tried like "it's hot outside, better inside with AC". It didn't work. We don't care about AC. Bad service and they expect good tip. Problem is they got used to tips regardless of service. I don't tip at all unless I get great service. Otherwise you are just doing your job. Tip is for going above and beyond. I'd stay away from this place. Bland food, awful service and not the best view, location and atmosphere.

Shrimp Special. Coconut shrimp had too much breading for my taste, the other 2 varieties were tasty.

Service was friendly and good. I would rate the food as just average for Rocky Point. The second balcony has a whole section of tables that look like storage. They should either remove those items or block it to make it more inviting. The inside did look clean and ready for customers. I would return to give it another chance.

My brother found this place on Yelp and we decided to give it a shot. It was hands down the best meal we had while in Rocky Point!!! For a family of 7 we were attended promptly and service was just great. We all had different dishes (all amazing btw) but the ones that stood out the most were the tortilla soup, clam chowder bread bowl, and the mariscada gallega. If we had only tried this place sooner we would've been coming back all week, I'm sure. My only complaint would be the drinks. My dad had a sangria and I ordered a Cuba libre and both were very watered down. We even asked for an extra shot of rum and it was still all soda... no biggy though. The meal made up for it!!

We went here on our last day visiting Puerto Peñasco, it was delicious! We really enjoyed all of our food and the service was fantastic. Great views of the little port and the fishing ships, super interesting decor with lots of figures/small statues. Neat little courtyard patio as well. Our server even brought us a shot of simple syrup for our iced teas without being asked, that's what I call great service!

We came here for the first time and let me tell you, this place does not disappoint! The seafood is to die for, even the drinks were delicious. This restaurant is definitely worth it.

Shrimp combo was really good but there are plenty of other things to choose from. Restaurants down here often tell you cash only which is fine but you'll do better if you have pesos

Had a nice Tuesday lunch. Patio was full so we ate in the main dining room. No problem because it has large windows that provide a nice open air feel. We ordered four separate fish dishes. All of them were very good (see photos), and priced very good around $10.- each Mine had green chili sauce, and was cover with melted cheese. If I return, I would ask for no cheese as it made the dish a bit heavy and over power the fish. If you like cheese, you will love it. All entrees profile Sole filets, and I can confirm that they were fresh fish caught locally. Entrees came with rice and steamed vegetables, but I a few of us swapped our veggies for beans. Oh yes our meal came with excellent "REAL" Mexican chips (latee we walked the Malecon, saw some dinners eating round chips at a restaurant that clearly came straight out of a Lays bag. Really??. Thank goodness not here ) with excellent salsa. Kids loved the fresh squeezed lemonade. And we enjoyed our cold Negro Modelos. For dessert we shared a nice large piece of Tres Leches cake. Ups we ate it before I remember to snap a pix. But trust me it hit the spot and was big enough for two. This place is nice, clean and very reasonably priced.

Pollo Lucas has been in the community for decades and they seem like a staple related to fresh chicken in the town. Similarly to other places, there are vendors and men outside who want cash for helping you park. The seating inside offers a lot of spots, but vendors do come inside and ask if you're interested in purchasing other goods. This restaurant does take card payments, but prefer cash/pesos. Most of the workers do not know English, so be prepared and know at least some basic Spanish words beforehand. If not, it'll still be okay! The women at the counter were very kind and helped us get seated. My group shared one chicken (240 pesos) with rice, beans, and salsas. I grabbed a homemade juice that was yummy too. Note that the chicken comes with cabbage, onion, salsa, limes, and tortillas but the other sides are seperate. The chicken was so hot, fresh, and flavorful. Everything was delicious and we ate it all with no leftovers. The chicken is charbroiled and you can see it all cooking. It made it hard to wait for the food, as it smelled amazing, but it's worth the wait. We'd 100% come back again.

The chef/cook must have prepared all the courses on-site because everything was prepared and cooked perfectly, and the plates reflected the expertise. $39 for the meal before the tip. We ordered the Vampiro with papas (285 pesos), a carne asada taco (40 pesos), and a quesadilla with carne (70 pesos) and 2, 12-ounce Mexican Cokes (60 pesos). Altogether, we spent $22.22 for lunch. We noticed on this trip that Rocky Point prices were very similar to what we were spending in the United States. This place is very clean and we sat at the inside dining. Note: they only take cash here, DO NOT order assuming you can use a debit card. They are generous with the topping tray, which includes: lettuce, 2 salsa, an avocado sauce, limes, and cucumbers. To be honest, these are large portions and we would have been full with just the Vampiro with potatoes. The Cokes with real cane sugar are always better than our American ones with high fructose corn syrup. A small portion of the beef was a little grisly with fat. I subtracted one star for this and the fact that they ONLY take cash. This is a decent, clean eatery. They offer their entire menu with either corn or flour tortillas.
