Great food and big portions. The Guacamole and Chips stood out because the soft panela cheese in the guacamole was cubed instead of shredded and added a nice texture (to me) to the guacamole. It's also enough for 3-4 people. We each ordered the sopes appetizer. Again, large portions of seafood atop blue corn tortillas in the form of a dessert shell and more guacamole. The octopus entree was off putting for my dining companion because the tentacles were served whole (suction cups and all) dusted with adobo. Companion was half expecting bulging eyes as he dug in. Mercifully, there were none. The texture was like eating a tender rib-eye. FANTASTIC! I had Shrimp with Jamaica (pink hibiscus) Sauce. It was pretty good. The sauce reminded me of a sweet/sour sauce, more sweet than sour. Next time, I'll order the octopus, if available. Dessert was a brownie shaped like a small, round two layer cake with vanilla ice cream. The "brownie" was rich, dense and delicious. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, one good-sized dessert, a bottle of Concha y Toro Cabernet, soda and bottled water: USD $101 and a lot of food left over. We would absolutely dine here again.

Wow... beyond impressed. For a resort based restaurant this place was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the street corn. The tortilla soup was great. But the entrees were some of the best food I've had in Puerto Peñasco!

    Cantarito de tequila

I was a little hesitant to go in because the whole restaurant was empty, but we were too hungry to go anywhere else. Man am I glad I did! The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and polite. The food was AMAZING! I got the chipotle shrimp and the veggies were probably the best veggies i' e ever had. Beautiful view of the beach. The cantarito de tequila was so good, I'll definitely be back. The food was delicious and high quality for a great price.

Well, let me start by saying, the Valentine menu looked amazing and we were celebrating our anniversary, so why not let's do it, they have lava cake. We saw the menu at the marketplace on Saturday. It took us a bit to find the restaurant and by a bit, I mean asking 5 people where the restaurant was. ....not off to a good start. We found it...we were seated and there it was, the menu...not showing the lava cake I came for, but a s'more brownie... they changed the menu. My husband and I decided to get a bottle of wine. No problem there. Then the food started to come out. Clam chowder began our 4-course meal. Oh my, it was pureed chowder, like they stuck everything in a blender, no clams to be found, the flavor was okay...but no clams. Then the shrimp taco, good flavor, but too spicy for me, I couldn't eat it, my husband ate it. Then the 3rd dish, I was to get vegetable lasagna, I got soy lasagna, they tried to explain the vegetables were in the soy???????? Wtf no vegetables, I couldn't eat it. My husband had the surf and turf, and the steak was overcooked and so was the shrimp... Worst streak he ever had. He couldn't eat it. Dessert time... after complaining they made me, only me, a lava cake, they told my husband they only had one, he could have the brownie...one lava cake, and not one for my husband wtf. He hates marshmallows so no dessert for him. Then the bill came...yep not paying for the bad meal, let me talk to the manager...the manager, he had conveniently left and yet I just saw him. So they send over a guy who said he never heard a complaint and yet my server had to go to the kitchen at least 3 times with complaints of the food. Then the guy started an analogy...it's like going to the movies, I stopped him in mid-sentence. Needless to say, the bill was lowered. Bad food all around and we still paid too much. I give the wait staff 5 stars, they did the best they could. A great restaurant for delicious food, go to El Tapeo.

The restaurant itself is nice and clean. The food was mediocre and service could be better. Portions are very small which is no big deal. Considering this is at a resort I think they could consider adding more options. Not a kid friendly menu.

BEST SPOT IN RP! So sad I waited until the last day to eat here, if you're staying at los palomas, skip Citron and walk down the beach to Cielito Lindo instead, SO WORTH IT! Only a two minute walk. Authentic, delicious and the best views in town. Breakfast burrito was amazing, plus you're on the beach.

Great breakfast! They have a small but versatile menu with American and Mexican dishes. I had the best latte there as well. We were the only ones in there at 8, felt like a well kept secret. Prices are fantastic as well, $7-12 per dish, amazing views

Servers were friendly & attentive. Food was made to order, came out hot & super fresh. Can't beat the homemade tortillas. I had the breakfast burrito which was filling I only ate half. Friend had the breakfast skillet which was piping hot. The pancake was buttermilk & very tasty. Only thing was, I didn't see a bathroom but once outside, I noticed there were stairs to go upstairs where they do karaoke. Maybe the bathroom is up there. They accept cash & cards. Would recommend!

Our service was excellent: timely and efficient. Our meal consisted of Guacamole with Chips to start, Coconut Shrimp and 3-Flags Enchiladas with two glasses of Red Wine (sorry, no varietal description). The chef/cook must have prepared all the courses on-site because everything was prepared and cooked perfectly, and the plates reflected the expertise. $39 for the meal before the tip. As mentioned in a prior post, the restaurant is on Calle 13 across the the Hotel Señorial. After having driven past this block at least a hundred times, I'm amazed we just now tried this restaurant. We'll be back, repeatedly.
