La Cuenta. Not bad.

The food and services were impeccable!!! You have to try this place when in Puerto Penasco right near the harbour. Well worth the wait no matter what. Go early though if you want to be by the beach before noon time. We left late for a brunch time. This place doesn't disappoint at all. Easy to get to from your hotel or camping RV area. Safe area, but beware of the crowded parking. There is a lot across the street that you can park in but it cost $5 US or 100 pesos. There are people leaving every five minutes so be patient and park when one opens up on the premises. Great food, great atmosphere. Busy place, thank you Paola

I was extremely hesitant to try this restaurant simply because I was looking for authentic Mexican cuisine on my most recent trip to Rocky Point. The food at this restaurant was so amazing. I had to come back another day to try it again. Everything that I tried here was absolutely amazing. I would argue that this is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. If you're lucky enough to experience this restaurant, you will know exactly what I'm talking about. from start to finish, this is a wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the staff are incredibly nice, and the food is to die for. Do yourself a favor and try to dine at this restaurant. It may be busy and for good reason!

My favorite breakfast spot in Rocky Point! I want to get up early when I know we are going, Great food & service. Great for brunch

What an amazing meal we have at this restaurant! The menu had so many options which really made it hard however, I believe we made some great choices. The omelette is the one that had all of the meats and it was so good. I also got the French toast that came with bacon and eggs. The restaurant was a very busy when we went on a Saturday around 9 AM, yet we were still able to be quickly seated. There's a small parking lot outside that has an attendant that assists with parking, which you can tip, or you can also park in the lot across the street. I believe this place is a bakery as well but I was so stuffed I didn't try it. This place is definitely worth a visit!

When we 1st walked in the place was so different than what you would expect in Rocky Point. I love the decor inside, it is beautiful. We were able to sit down right away, which is not what always happens as I have heard before. It was on a Tuesday, so I get it. Service was great and food was served quickly. It was great. Nice portions and great taste. One thing to know is that it is cash only, no cards, so just be prepared. I will definitely be back there to eat again.

On my first time visiting Rocky point, my very good friend who lives there recommended going to Kaffee Haus. A little tricky to find an even a little tricky to park at, this restaurant was sold wonderful we returned the very next day for breakfast after our first meal. There's so many selections the first breakfast I had I ordered a sweet breakfast and returned the next day for a savory breakfast after tasting a bite from my friends plate. Kaffee Haus offers a menu of German breakfast items( waffles, pancakes, etc) and a menu of Mexican breakfasts. The restaurant is a multi level building on a slope and so there's a lower patio middle platform, several booths and then an upper area with several tables. The restaurant has a single bathroom for all the customers at the top level. The first I was there I ordered a white mocha and stuffed French toast and the food was so good. I couldn't think of anything else. The next day I came back, ordering divorced eggs with skirt steak, and their signature German mocha with ice cream. They have a pastry counter so after your meal, you can take home a little treat to go or have it as a dessert after your breakfast. we had very attentive service both times and I highly recommend giving this place a try. When ordering your food, they may ask if you want tortillas or bread, the bread is made on the premises and served toasted in a basket. It's just so fresh and mouthwatering. A great place with a beautiful atmosphere. Please do pay them a visit.

This place has the best breakfast items! The service is always quick & kind. Very comfortable seating & kid friendly too... Highly recommend!

I'll admit it--Kaffee Haus is popular because it's the most American restaurant in town. You won't see locals anywhere near here. When you enter, you'll hear soft, old-timey lounge music, you'll see an impeccably uniformed and attentive staff, and you'll get distracted by a case full of freshly baked goods. It's tough getting in. I was here on a Wednesday morning, while everything on Malecon was empty, but just barely got the last indoor table. Good luck if you go on a weekend, I've heard the waits are bonkers. What I loved: I had the best breakfast sandwich ever here! Bacon, eggs, spinach, beans, and chipotle mayo on a house-made cheddar bun. A side of scrumptious fresh fruit, and a side of has browns. This was enough to fuel my entire day. What I liked: Service was as good as it gets. So many tables, but it took maybe 15 minutes to get our food anyway. This is a well-oiled machine What needs work: The coffee! I was so stoked for my mocha, but it had perhaps one lonely shot of espresso, with all the chocolate syrup at the bottom. Very weak and sloppy, but none of the coffee I've had in Penasco is good, so I won't get too steamed. There's absolutely a reason people wait an hour or so, even in the heat--this is legitimately better than some of the most popular breakfast spots in AZ. You have to make time and check it out!

Well.. Always drive by here and see it packed.. So i finally decided to give it a try. Friendly staff.. Small limited sitting hence why it's always busy. Ordered caffe latte, caramel caffe latte and Americano. Price seemed little high for the coffee but cup size was pretty good size. Coffee was pretty good.. Nothing out of the ordinary. Ordered Belgium waffle, pumpkin pancake, strammer max, and smoked salmon omelet. Well.. I guess I was spoiled by having the opportunity to eat Belgium waffle freshly made in Belgium while back .. Pure disappointment... It literally tasted like eggo waffle toasted straight out of the box. Wife did reminded me I ordered a Belgium waffle at German restaurant in Mexico. What evah.... I figure it be at least half descent... It was border line soggy and lacked in flavor. Pumpkin pancake was pretty good. But man is it super sweet. Strammer max was not mad.. Sliced ham top of home made bread with over easy eggs, except yolk was over cooked. No runny egg yolk.. Bacon was bacon nothing special.. Side of potato was OK.. Lacked in flavor. Smoked salmon omelet probably was the best tasting dish of the bunch. I should have orders some Mexican food to see if it was any good. But I wanted something different. $64.75 total before tipping.. Little pricier than other places I've been to for breakfast. So was it worth it? No.. Would I come here again? No.. So many other yummy breakfast places.. Like lolita's and candy cake. I'm glad I got the chance to try it out.. Now I won't drive by going.. I should try this place now..

El Grande and Molletes Highly recommend both

Servers were friendly & attentive. Food was made to order, came out hot & super fresh. Can't beat the homemade tortillas. I had the breakfast burrito which was filling I only ate half. Friend had the breakfast skillet which was piping hot. The pancake was buttermilk & very tasty. Only thing was, I didn't see a bathroom but once outside, I noticed there were stairs to go upstairs where they do karaoke. Maybe the bathroom is up there. They accept cash & cards. Would recommend!

Our service was excellent: timely and efficient. Our meal consisted of Guacamole with Chips to start, Coconut Shrimp and 3-Flags Enchiladas with two glasses of Red Wine (sorry, no varietal description). The chef/cook must have prepared all the courses on-site because everything was prepared and cooked perfectly, and the plates reflected the expertise. $39 for the meal before the tip. As mentioned in a prior post, the restaurant is on Calle 13 across the the Hotel Señorial. After having driven past this block at least a hundred times, I'm amazed we just now tried this restaurant. We'll be back, repeatedly.
