If you keep chowing down like there's no tomorrow, then you can taste the richness of the sauce, but it was damn good! The rib eye chicharron was ok. It didn't have as much flavor as I'd like for that type of dish, so it was my least favorite, and the shrimp ceviche was pretty good, but not fantastic. It also lacked flavor and a little bit of zing or that something special (what that special ingredient is, a good cook can tell you! I just try to devour food, not prepare it!) Ordered room service from this restaurant since we didn't want to drive out to the city and look for something that could take a while to find (restaurant wise) ... generous portions I cannot complain about that but food is mediocre..didn't want to get tacos from here since the city will have plenty of that.. I got fajitas and wife got tampequena and daughter got chicken fingers...rice wasn't good from each of our plates, beans were from a can, meat was cook appropriately but lacking flavor Chicken fingers almost resembled like fish sticks or fish and chips taste..fries were not the greatest either There must of been better items to order from here but nothing else was intriguing to us, definitely a fast food taste to this place if you're okay with that read more

The staff at this restaurant go above and beyond to service the customers. We had Jose for our server, outstanding, informative and very kind to us. Always have a good meal when I come to this restaurant. The filet mignon is delicious and a good price. They will do larger parties, but expect to be on Mexico time and a leisurely meal. You can also do a reservation here, which is kind of rare in Rocky Point. The steaks come with a choice of soup or salad. I had the tortilla soup which they bring out with everything in the bowl and then fill it with the broth. Definitely unique. My broth wasn't super hot so expect just warm soup. As is typical with Mexico, the service was the best part of this restaurant. I've never had someone tell me "No" in Mexico. I asked if they had limonada minerale--they didn't but they made me one. That's quintessential PP. This place is very family friendly with huge portions! You will not leave hungry. If you're wanting authentic Mexican food, this place is NOT for you. It's a nice, hotel restaurant that you would find anywhere in the States. It's for the northeast/Midwest/Canadian tourists that filled the place this evening. If you're from TX, NM, AZ, CA--know that the black pepper is the hottest thing on the menu. The garlic shrimp came highly recommended, so I tried it. It's not scampi, but 6 large prawns covered in minced garlic. Was served with puréed squash (pumpkin? Sweet potato?) and grilled root veggies. VERY good and would order again. The fish tacos were average--again, large and generous portions. The bacon wrapped filet was thick and cooked perfectly. The grilled root veggies were delish. Hubby's combo plate was disappointing. The enchilada was tasty, decent. The relleno was nearly inedible. The skin was fibrous and undercooked, making it impossible to cut and eat. Had to scrap out the insides and eat. The sauce on top is marinara (tomato, onion, oregano) which is an odd choice. Very flavorful and would be great on pasta, but not a relleno. A friend recommended this restaurant in Rocky Point. It is inside a beautiful hotel on a lovely beach. When we got there, they checked our temps and then seated us. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I got a Mexican combo meal with an enchilada, chili relleno, and carne asada. It came with rice, beans, and my choice of tortillas. While it was all good, I wasn't wowed by any of it and would probably try something different for an entree when we go back. I also had a bowl of their chicken tortilla soup which was very delicious! That one wowed me! Our table got some chicken wings (pretty standard), two types of fajitas (good), and a seafood volcano (she loved the dish fresh, but not as much when reheated as leftovers). This restaurant has the best filet mignon. Ribeye was just ok but the filet was spectacular. Melts in your mouth. Warning: be very careful when approaching their craptastic barrier arm of the Sonoran sea. If you tap it they charge $600. If they do charge you make sure you have maintenance unhook it so you can take it with you. I hear they sell for much more on fb marketplace. read more

We had an outstanding dinner tonight. The Ala Cremme Flounder had a delicate taste cooked to perfection served over mashed potatoes. The Fish of Choice- Garlic Red Snapper was amazing. Both meals were served over mashed potatoes and included fresh grilled vegetables of carrots, zucchini and asparagus. We chose our side as a salad with balsamic and olive oil. Everything was fresh. Came here with my family to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday Wow the food was amazing we had the shrimp stuffed peppers wrapped in bacon. Ramon's has become our must visit and hands down favorite place to eat every time we come to Rocky Point. If we're lucky enough we can even secure our spot at the Sonoran Sea Resort so we have the convenience of waking from the condo to the restaurant multiple times throughout our stay. My wife and I always have the Filet Mignon Gorgonzola(they're just incredible, bacon wrapped and covered with a creamy Gorgonzola sauce, and melt like butter when cutting them), Our daughter wanted to switch it up and decided to have the stuffed flounder (Pan seared flounder filets stuffed with scallops, octopus, and squid), and she absolutely loved it. We also tried the ribeye chicharrón (fried ribeye chunks piled on a bed of guacamole, with jalapeños, and pickled onions, and a magical secret sauce, with warm flour tortillas on the side) for an appetizer. It was the most delicious thing. We could've been very happy just ordering a few of those. The staff is always so friendly and couldn't be anymore attentive and helpful, and the food is so reasonably priced. A+A+A+ read more

The food was pretty good but I wouldn't call it excellent. We had pulpo and scallop tostadas which were ok. The chicken fajitas and the garlic butter clams were great. The shrimp tacos and the cheese enchilada were somewhat good. The thing that we didn't like about the restaurant was that it was hard to breathe because of all the smoke from cooking. Stumpled upon this restaurant at the Soronan Resort, there were 3 choices of restaurants, 2 were "sports bars" and then this one...looked like an unassuming restaurant and there was no loud music, so we gave it a try. So pleasantly surprised! We started with the crab tostadas, which was tasty. But the real hit of the night was the Seafood Volcano, it was amazingly delicious, unique presentation, piping hot, filled with shrimp, scallops, calamari, octopus (I asked for less of this) and fish - mixed with wine and cheese in a well seasoned broth. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety and mix of taste and textures! My husband had the garlic buttered fish and he liked his alot. All in all we were both pleasantly surprised! read more
