I honestly feel like we've built a friendship! They did an amazing and thorough job with our paint and wallpaper project, and have a 30 day touchup guarantee, which is clutch after the movers dinged our wall a few times. Her team also does full renovation and construction, so we are looking forward to using them for all of our upcoming projects! Edmond, who oversaw the work at our house and did the majority of the work, is detail oriented and very friendly. He takes the time to do the job correctly, and is honestly an artist. We had a complicated mural project in the half bathroom, and he handled it like a breeze. Don't hesitate to use Paint Chicago for not only painting, but all of your home renovation projects!

They even "fixed" rooms, areas, which we attempted to paint and couldn't get the clean lines. Jeff and his team ensured the lines were clean. Jeff will also make color recommendations which really helped us ensure we were on track. We had many very positive and unsolicited remarks from both guests and people interested in our home about both the quality of the painting and the colors. In addition Jeff's crew refurbished our deck using the Behr product "Deck Over". They cleaned the deck, replaced boards, sunk poles in concrete which needed to be replaced for the stairs and it not only looks brand new but is super sturdy. I highly recommend this company and their pricing is reasonable! You can trust Jeff. Something you don't hear often from me about contractors.

I am always apprehensive to work with a new company when it comes to the design of my own home. John James Painters quelled all of my fears. The free consultation was the best. I was initially very worried but as they were answering my questions one at a time, my stress alleviated. This company did a fantastic job on painting the walls of my kitchen and dining room. The quality of work for these local painters was excellent compared to some painters I have used in the past. This team was very pleasant to have in my home and worked with me and my weird schedule. For relatively cheap painters (ask for quote on price by the way), I was surprised by the degree of excellence this team meticulously checked their work. These painters did a great job working around my thick shutters while still getting clean lines. I recommend John James Painters to all of my friends and anyone in the greater Chicago area. I will be coming back for any paint needs in the future!

In addition, they follow through on commitments, manage their schedule so they can complete the job as planned, and the quality of service they provide is the best we've had. Alex was a constant presence. He was respectful of team members who came and went, and kept the folks he reported to up to date so that everyone was equally informed about the project's progress. Whether he was reinstalling window coverings, moving furniture to protect it, or talking our cats out from underneath a bed, Alex (and all of the team, for that matter) was consistently competent and kind. First off, I loved that his team was willing to come out to Hinsdale as the first job they worked on was Downtown Chicago. Next, working with Danny in the planning phase was a breeze. Despite the process being remote, he gave me an accurate estimate that was competitive with most of the other ones I received, and much better than quite a few. Lastly, Eddie and his team of painters did a bang up job over the 3 days. We were able to make adjustments to add additional painting areas, try out a different color for an accent wall when the first attempt wasn't to our liking, and these guys powered through the job neatly and professionally.
