I like to support local, brick and mortar shops, but when the inventory is lacking and the service is nonexistent-to-rude, what's the point? Beyond that, the physical space is 50% the size needed to support the amount of inventory they have. Perhaps the cramped quarters contribute to the simmering hostility. I was told my dress would arrive at my house within a week. I planned everything around that timeline -- fittings, alterations, you name it. A week passed, and I hadn't heard anything. When I reached out to check on it, I found out on my own that my dress was actually backordered indefinitely. No one from Anthropologie bothered to contact me or give me an update. For something as important and emotional as a wedding dress, this kind of lack of communication is just unacceptable. I trusted that I was in good hands, but it really feels like the company dropped the ball completely. The whole process left me feeling stressed, disappointed, and honestly heartbroken. Anthropologie needs to do so much better -- brides shouldn't have to chase down information about their own wedding dresses. I will not be recommending Anthropologie in the future.

It was only $5 more than the other cobbler charged me and he completely fixed the original issue as well as the damage the other person had done.
