I don't usually write reviews but I had to create the account to write this one…read more If you are looking for a baby/kids store-look no further, because Fancy Pants is THE place to go. Not only is the customer service are exceptional (the owner, Marina, and her staff are friendly, prompt w email communication, and go above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for, even if they don't have the item in store, they will try to get it for you). I found this store to be the perfect place. It's just the right size, in the lovely neighborhood (Newton) bordering Brookline/Brighton, with expert staff who were knowledgable to help me with my needs...which I HIGHLY recommend you register with them. Forget those big name baby/toy stores, or even other local ones we've tried... This place has the same brands and better ones they've vetted over time and experience. I fell in love w Fancy Pants and I think once you give it a try you will too!! It's personalized to your needs (even if as a parent or friend/family member you don't know what you may need for the child in your life)...go to Fancy Pants and they are happy to help you figure it out one of in the best experiences possible.

I am still disappointed in the value of the old clothes and the new- as they're all far too expensive for the condition they're in.. and the new are more expensive then when they're new. I know your business has to make money, but the whole point of a hand me down store is to make sure your items are affordable. Unfortunately, I probably won't be back until prices lower because I just can't afford the prices. I've read many wonderful reviews on here and maybe it's good for some and then not so good for others. The owner was so funny and sweet and she helped us tremendously through the store and out. Something to note; I had my stroller, so I just want to point out this establishment is not wheelchair assessable from the front of the store. Not sure about the back though. The women were so friendly and will tell you about the artists that make different pieces, from local to south american talent. They lovingly packaged up the choices I selected after an hour was spent shopping and chatting. I left feeling educated about where the art I purchased came from in addition to feeling good about supporting real talent, the artists as well as the owners of this boutique. They sell a good collection of the swishy animals she likes. They have a great selection of toys and games that are fun and educational. Everything we have purchased has been of great quality. After a nice meal next store at Dreams Breakfast and Lunch in the same building my wife and I…read moreventured into Fiske's General Store. It was like stepping back into my childhood. It was like walking into the G.C. Murphy's store in the town I grew up in western PA in the 1970's. The blend of modern and classic toys is well thought out. I imagine the children of Holliston, MA are lucky to have such a nice place to visit in their own back yard. The owners are very nice people and I enjoyed just chatting as we patronized the well storied store. It's been a stable of the community since 1863. Look for the heart on the floor. It has a beautiful story surrounding it. My wife was drawn in to the store by the easel sign outside the store advertising Pokémon cards. Any grandparents who have preteen and teenage grandchildren know what that is. Even more enjoyable and impressive was the proprietor's knowledge of all things Pokémon! I know nothing about such things myself. As well as the toys there is a really nice selection of candy to select from. Some, that took me back to my youth again as well! We purchased a nice supply of candy and a few educational toys for our 2 year old granddaughter, and some Pokémon cards for our grandsons. They also have a charming display of big time pictures of customers who found valuable Pokémon cards in their packs of cards. As, well as lovely pictures that show how proud of grandparents they are! It's worth a visit again for sure! The real value of this store is the Owners! They are the real Gems !! PRICELESS!

I really did have a great time shopping . I loved everything I got . The sweatpants they have are so comfy . The black designer pants I got ( they are in the picture ) are so comfy . I just love to be comfy . It's pricey but good value in the quality of the material .

Tali the owner is so sweet and helpful and is very accommodating. Let's not forget her wide assortment of necklaces that are fabulous if any of you are into the neck mess like I am. She often has special sales and they are a great deal.
