Dubai Chocolate Martini and the Basic Bitch Martini
    Amber C.

Love Chandler's! This time my friend and I tried a couple drinks from the new season menu. We had the Basic Bitch and the Dubai Chocolate Martini. Both were so flavorful and perfectly balanced. On a previous visit, I also tried some of their baked goods and all were great! Also super cute inside and often has great live music playing. Fun and friendly staff and positive vibes all around!

I've been making a conscious effort to eat and shop local lately, and after seeing the love from fellow Yelpers, I decided to give Chandler's a shot on a recent brisk morning. I'm glad I did-they didn't disappoint. I ordered a hazelnut latte, which struck the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. I also had an everything bagel with cream cheese. While it was a standard bagel, it was fresh, not overly chewy, and had just the right amount of cream cheese. The service was friendly & the vibe was very relaxed. The space was surprisingly spacious, much larger than it looks from the outside. I'll definitely be back to this cozy local spot.

The most involved in their community coffee shop with yummy drinks and tasty treats! So welcoming and friendly service with a fantastic ambiance! When in downtown Greensboro it's a must have!

Caramel apple muffin and The Grasshopper (seasonal mint latte)

Downtown Greensboro may have a glut of coffeeshops, but Chandlers does what it can to stand out. It's fairly spacious and offers a variety of seating options to accommodate both those trying to get work done and those looking to lounge comfortably for a while. The chill atmosphere calls to mind the Green Bean of years ago. That the baristas were welcoming and didn't seem miserable working there is an added perk. In addition to coffee drinks (featuring Loom beans), teas, and baked good, Chandlers offers breakfast sandwiches, which makes it an option worth considering if the downtown brunch spots fill up. They have cocktails and wine as well for those who are so inclined. Seeking cold caffeine on a hot day, I opted for one of the seasonal coffee drinks: The Grasshopper (a mint latte). It was smooth and refreshing, and I enjoyed the apple caramel muffin that I got with it as well. Whether you have fond memories of the old Green Bean or are simply looking for a coffee shop with more room than most, Chandlers is well worth a visit.

So much seating! This place doubles as a coffee shop and full bar. I came in the afternoon on a Wednesday and it was still such a chill vibe. I loved how they have published lots of community events that are happening around the area. I had one of their specials which was a chia latte with lemonade and it was actually super good! I would have never thought to pair the two. I also tried one of the baked goods and it was a win! We did a grab and go, but the space definitely is worth staying and relaxing in.

Very friendly and fast service. Saturdays are always pretty busy but the food came out fast and tasted great! Definitely recommend.

I will be the first to say, initially I did not like Chandlers. I visited close to when they first opened and it felt very chaotic with a lot of people and when I saw the prices of the coffee, I thought they were crazy. I personally had liked Green Bean when it transferred under new management. However, I gave Chandlers a few other shots and it has become my husband and my go-to place to sit and have a cup of coffee when we have a medium amount of time to chill. I have come around to the higher prices given the location, vibe, and different offerings they have. Always thought they had good coffee (lattes, cappuccino, etc). I also noticed the size of my cappuccino was very reasonable given the size of it compared to the size of the one I get from another coffee shop. I no longer get any special latte or any added syrup to help keep the cost of my coffee in the range I prefer to pay. The last two times I have got the veggie breakfast sandwich; once on a sun-dried tomato bagel and once on an everything bagel. Both tasted good. Chandlers definitely had a homey vibe. When you walk, there is a display of wrapped books that can be purchased; kind of like a blind date with a book. They have local items near the register that can be purchased as well and a pool table at the back. Given the liveliness, I personally find it hard to read there which is what I like to do when I go get coffee, so for that reason and the higher prices, I only give it 4 out of 5.

This is the cutest coffee shop in downtown Greensboro! I attended an event here yesterday evening and had the best time! It was during dinner time so of course I was starving. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich and oh my gosh my only regret is that I have not ordered one of these sooner. I always just get coffee when I come here and I have severely been missing out. I got an everything bagel with the sunrise veggie. It was so good! Definitely worth getting again! I also just really love the atmosphere here. It's extremely laid-back and welcoming. Always a good time when I stop by.

I attended Chandler's Latte & Love Drag Brunch in February, which was their first drag event. My group ordered VIP tickets (which were incredibly reasonably priced at $20) which got us a bottle of champagne for mimosas and a flatbread to share in addition to the show. Outside of a delayed start due to the amount of people attending in a small space, it was a fun and well executed event. The Queens performing were giving it their all as well as the hard working staff to keep up with food and drink demand from all in attendance. We shared the Breakfast flat bread (scrambled egg, sausage, cheddar on a gravy base garnished with scallions). I don't think I've ever had a gravy base flatbread, but I will happily have many more. It was very hearty and delicious. It satisfied my initial breakfast craving with my Chai latte and mimosas. Later on I also ordered the Notorious F.I.G. Flatbread (goat cheese prosciutto, arugula on fig Jane based topped with hot honey) for myself to snack on. I hope this is on menu on the regular as the combination of flavors was so good. Presentation of both of these flatbreads were also very appealing. The bright red color and taste of my Anita-nother cocktail (Rose, Gin, raspberry purée, club soda) was perfect for the occasion. What a fun afternoon filled with so much love! I think, and hope, they will do more of these in the future (one suggestion is not putting VIPs upfront by window as that actually separated us from the action as it was difficult to see when performances happening in the back.) The owner is so sweet and you could feel the love she has for all in her community. I will 100% be back for more events, drinks, and fellowship at Chandlers!

Friendly and vibrant space with quality drinks and food. I first visited Chandlers for a Yelp event and finally got to return for a drag brunch event. The staff was hustling to accomodate the larger than expected turnout and I'm so impressed they pulled it off! I got one of their holiday latte specials and also got a bagel with cream cheese. I was super happy with my choices and they were reasonably priced. The energy of the clientele was fantastic. It was clearly a positive and uplifting space, and I'm so glad I attended. I'm looking forward to returning next time I'm in the area!

Great atmosphere; the aesthetic is dope af. Staff was very fun & nice. It's a quiet downtown coffee shop can't hear each other's convo. Wide open airy space. I ordered an English breakfast tea( that don't sweeten it) wasn't bad needed sugar. I also a veggie surprise on croissant roll. It was actually fire. I need another one actually.

This use to be Green Bean. However, I believe that if you loved Green Bean, you'll enjoy Chandler's. It was very busy when I went, but despite that, the vibe is laid back. The staff are very helpful, patient, and friendly. Some customers were working on laptops, some chatting it up at the bar or lounge area, the rest playing pool. This is definitely a spot that I sit in and lose time because it's so chill. I dined in and watched a group of friends play pool. They were cool with me watching. I came here for a Yelp! Event, and returned to try the Notorious F.I.G. I love a good sweet and savory. I would definitely have the arugula chopped down. It made it a difficult for me to eat. But I love that I was able to taste everything listed in the description. I want to try other things on the menu, but I'm certain I won't because this is my favorite. I didn't get a coffee because of price. They have small, medium, and large options, but I have zero clue how much of a price difference it would be. Also, if you were to add anything to it, how much more of an up-charge that would be? I hope the menu will be updated to include the prices of everything so you won't be clutching your pearls when it's time to pay.

Decided to stop by Chandler's for a quick meeting with a friend. I have to say that one step in the door and you are captured by the aesthetic and vibe. Chandler's feels like a classic, rustic coffeehouse. Everything about it is inviting whether you're just running to grab a cup of coffee or sitting and staying a while. We sat up front in the living room setting which is cozy and comfortable. There are tables throughout Chandler's if that's what you prefer and counter seating. The tweaks and improvements they made from the original Green Bean are noticeable and they make a huge difference. It is comfortable and a place where you would want to meet up with friends. My gauge of a coffeehouse is to see how they present a good old-fashioned hot latte. It was rich, flavorful and creamy delivered in a mug and piping hot. A smooth coffee option to say the least. In past visits I have tried their flatbread which is fresh and flavorful. This was a quick stop so coffee only, but that is what is great about Chandler's. You can grab and go or sit, eat and enjoy and they deliver on both accounts. This is a go-to in Greensboro for great coffee and great experience.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

Though most seats were filled when I visited, it was super quiet, like a library. I felt a little uncomfortable having a conversation, afraid of bothering others. I'm not sure if it's always that quiet or not. Street parking is somewhat limited, but there is a church with a parking lot just across the street. That said, I visited on Easter, so the church lot was full, but we were still able to find a spot to parallel park at the end of the street. They serve a decent variety of coffee and other drinks, but have a limited food/pastry menu. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which is something I order at a lot of places. Sometimes, the lavender tastes so artificial it reminds me of eating soap -- I think certain brands of syrup taste better than others. That was not the case here. I don't know what brand they use, but it must be one of the better ones, because it tasted mild and delicious. Both lavender and vanilla came through. The espresso was smooth and not bitter. The ratios of everything were great as well -- not too much oat milk but not too little -- the perfect latte.

The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.

The lobster tail was basically a crispy croissant filled with pastry cream that had no discernible pistachio flavor. Tasty but definitely more of a French pastry. The cookies were all supposedly different flavors but I couldn't tell them apart. They were a basic shortbread dyed different colors, had gummy, flavorless fillings and tasted old. There was 1 biscotti in the box and I'm sorry to say that my not at all Italian mom has made better biscotti. Definitely very pricey considering the quality.
