I would highly recommend if you are looking for catering, or for a casual lunch/dinner out.

Outside of the food, the staff really made it a great experience. Vincent went out of his way to look up how to make a drink that he had never made for me. He was prompt and delivered service with a huge smile and a great laugh. This young man is exactly what makes a good business great! If you find yourself in Corning and you're looking for a soothing meal that will fill you up, don't pass up Giuseppe's.

My rigatoni pasta was so overcooked it was like eating paste. Absolutely no changes were allowed to be made on menu items. Cooks (not chef's) according to them are too busy to make simple changes. Never brought us any bread. For the price you pay for 75 cents worth of pasta, we will never come back. Mine at home is 100x better. This place was YUCK!!

Started with calamari. Truly, some of the best calamari I've ever had in my entire life. And my fiancé and I order calamari often. Our entrées of chicken with side of gluten free pasta, and his entrée of linguini with white clams sauce were both delicious. The homemade pasta is amazing. And it's really really amazing that the gluten-free pasta is also homemade. So many times you see the gluten-free pasta is just the store brand, which is fine. The red sauce was absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of savory with sweetness. Great wine list as well. And the dairy free gelato was impeccable!! I also cannot believe the bill was so reasonable for an appetizer, two glasses of wine, two dinners with sides, a shared dessert, and how perfectly delicious everything was AND allergy conscious. Absolutely thrilled. Thank you!!

I really want to love this place; and for the most part, I do! But when you have an absentee owner…read moreand no manager--stars are lost! Went in last Friday night after discovering they have a fish fry! It's $25--which, to me, is a little on the pricey side for a fish fry, but we like this place and the vibe...so we tried it. The fish was crispy and fresh and hot and delicious! The mac and cheese was good, hot and gooey. The coleslaw, which is a newer item on their menu, tastes oddly like grocery store macaroni salad--the kind with the little pieces of carrot and sweet pickle?? I suspect it was made with miracle whip and I don't eat miracle whip...but that's not what cost them the star!! I just chalk that up to personal taste...not good taste...but not for me. The server offered dessert, cheesecake or peanut butter pie. The owner of this restaurant, btw, owns a bakery. We opted for one of each. My husband got the cheesecake and there was a dried up chunk of something that fell off another dessert!? Nope...his cheesecake was dried out...literally to the point that I could lift it up by the sides and set it back down without my fingers having anything on them--still dry. So I tried my peanut butter pie. Also so dry that I could lift it by the cut sides and thump it on the plate and it didn't even fall apart!!! Shame. On. Them!! The server explained that they were probably in the fridge for "a day or two"...I think possibly more?? They were taken right off the bill, but when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they don't have one. Please note...for the most part this is a local restaurant we like and frequent. But when you have owners trying to get by with that kind of nonsense, it's an embarrassment! I felt bad for the server and disappointed by this. Hopefully this is a problem they will fix. I'd go for the fish fry again and their beans and greens are crave-worthy. Very cool atmosphere, good service.
