Went in, did my driving test and passed for less than 100$. They let you use their vehicle if you pay 15$. If this is what you're going to this school for, then it's great value and worth it. I wouldn't recommend actually learning from this place (seems overpriced compared to just doing it online). But if you don't have the time to teach your kids to drive, seems like this place will work. I wouldn't know tho, never went to this place for actual driver ed classes. Customer service was good. I recommend looking for other schools, especially if you are planning to enroll your teen into this one. I attended both the classroom and driving instruction, but stopped attending after the third driving lesson. The lady who answers the phone, Susan Seeton, has a bit of a bad attitude, but was a great classroom instructor. She explained every concept thoroughly, and made sure you understood before moving on. The driving instructors, on the other hand, didn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. My final time was with a black gentleman (I don't remember his name), and he had a terrible attitude, was rude, and unprofessional. After I had gotten in the car, he asked me what to do next, I said "buckle up." and for some reason he mocked me for saying this and got angry i didn't say it in a more proper tone ?? He would scream at me and slam his fists on the dashboard if I did not change lanes quickly enough, said he hoped I would hit the curb so he could hear me scream, and embarrassed me in front of a woman in the backseat, who was also a student. He stressed that I should turn the wheel "hand-to-hand", which no normal driver does, and the technique made me turn sloppy and far too slow for traffic. Anytime I would turn the normal way, he would grab my hand and try to force me to turn the wheel the dumb way. genuinely contemplated finding a place to park and switching right then and there. Both of my kids attended this driving school and took their required driving test for DPS. Every instructor that they had was professional and easy to learn from. They both had wonderful experiences and I highly recommend Champions Driving to anyone who asks me. read more

My daughter took the 7 hour driving/7 hour observation block through this school. As far as the scheduling and administrative piece, it was fine. And I would suggest taking the driving test there. This is the reason I gave two stars. But, the driving part was a different story. During her second to last class, she finally told me that her driving instructor kept falling asleep!!! I told her she had to be mistaken so during her final class, as a passenger while another student was driving, she recorded him and sure enough, he was asleep! I just couldn't believe that this man would drift off to sleep while having unlicensed drivers at the wheel. Mind you, unlicensed drivers that he is SUPPOSED to be teaching! My suggestion, use a different school. read more

Made an online reservation to take the road test, next day checked in and 20 minutes later all was done. I couldn't have asked for an easier process. My road test was scheduled for the evening so I didn't have to take time away from work. If you're looking for efficient and convenient service this is the place for you. We tried the school for just the 7 hours behind the wheel plus 7 hrs observation. It was limited choices for drive times, but we were able to select enough. My son completed 5 lessons, but expressed concerns about how well the car was operating. At the end of the 4th lesson I noticed the tire in the picture. I expressed safety concerns to the instructor - who said it was temporary. Two days later we arrived for the next lesson - same tire. I expressed my concerns to the owner. He agreed it needed changing, and had my son drive a different car. When I arrived at the end of the session - they drove up in the car with the bad tire. I expressed my disappointment to the owner, who proceeded to make excuses. I decided we were done, as I felt lied to and my son's safety had been put at risk. I asked for a refund of unused lessons. At first he said no, but after some disagreement he asked me to return in two days to get a refund from the office manager. Today I did get the refund of unused lessons. Be wary. Update: the owner's son called me. He operates the location in Pinehurst. He was very apologetic, and spoke to me at length. He offered to complete my son's last two lessons AND do his drive test for free. He plans to take over management of the Grant location too. I took him up on his offer- my son really enjoyed driving with him and his cars were in great shape. read more

This driving school needs a serious overhaul. It needs work to make it look presentable - it has shabby furniture , everything is dirty & old. As for the driving instruction , just hope you don't have to do many evening classes with the only evening instructor , an Indian gentleman whose English is v difficult to understand , which , of course is not helpful at all when learning g to drive , especially for a teen driver . He grunts , holds & turns the steering wheel when teaching parallel parking & then says " that wasn't so hard was it ?" To a teen learner who should have hands on learning instead of him turning the wheel etc - that was the sum total of he parallel parking teaching - absolutely terrible . He also has disgusting personal habits such as spitting out the open window - disgusting .. He does not engage with the learner - approaching a turn says "turn left here" is the sum total of it . Maybe it's because his English is so poor he has had complaints & now speaks as little as possible .. The receptionist always seems to have a long personal story of what is going on in her life which you have to endure while she gets her act together with whatever she is supposed to be doing . Finally the driving test itself is 10 mins around the block - as the receptionist said herself "to fail you just need to go through a red light or knock over the pole when parallel parking " yes , it may be easy to pass here , but is that what you really want ? I would be happier knowing my family is Sharing the road with people who have been taught to drive competently - don't go to this school - a bunch of jackasses getting good money for nothing - be warned .. read more

Awful!!! Don't waste your time or money! There are plenty of other driving schools who return calls and actually want business, I have been trying for 4 days to get my daughter into the refresher driving course and not only is the driving instructor that Susan pawned me off on not calling to schedule as she said he would but she doesn't return calls either.
