Let's just say, getting my hair done here was an experience. I want to provide a fair and complete review. I purchased a Groupon for the Full Balayage. While I booked it on a day I was available (as it let me book it), I mentioned I had a Groupon. They called the next day and told me the owner doesn't do Groupons and it would be someone else. So, ok then. I found that that someone was an intern. Ok, so be it, as long as there is supervision I wasn't going to worry. Booking my appointment wasn't that big of an issue. From there, my stylist met me and took at look at my pictures. I do understand she's only been doing hair for a short period of time, but after she saw what I wanted, confirmed it could be done. The owner also arrived and confirmed that I could get this end result and it wasn't a problem. I said, ok, let's do it. So, we moved ahead and several hours afterwards, when my hair was fully in the processing stage with the color on already, that it was going to be another $100 for the color. The Groupon was $218 to start, and with this at total of $318. I was apologized to several times, and asked if I was ok with that. I said, I guess I kind of have to be, don't I. We continued. The stylist, while very inexperienced was not monitored nearly as closely as would be needed for this type of color. I feel bad for saying it, but I'm providing my experience. She wasn't ready to be doing something to this level on her own and she was being advised every so often by the owner and a few other employees. The red and the blonde as it was being washed out, was mixed. I ended up with a version of Burgundy, orange, pink and brown hair. Nothing close to what I asked for (red and blonde). Additionally, the work (the pics can speak for themselves) was not up to par. There were distinct lines in my hair, bleach that must have hit the scalp. This process took 6 entire hours the 1st day. After speaking with the owner that this wasn't going to be acceptable, she mentioned she would detoxify the blonde parts (which were now a version of pink and orange) to have the blonde pop out, and add a brighter red. She did ask if I wanted to stay longer that day to fix it. At that point, I was exhausted of the process and had far too many other pending things I had to do as this took way longer than expected. I chose to come back on the very next appointment (which was after the weekend). I was told that the red was expected to blend with the blonde and it was going to be hard to keep them separate as the pic I had was AI. (I understood it wouldn't be exact, but close was what I hoped for and not pink and orange). So 3 days of really messed up hair, I showed her the same picture, and she said, no problem, we'll get it fixed. I was in full belief that I'd walk out looking pretty close to the picture. It's way better than it was, but not worth the time/$. Just wished I would have rec'd way more communication/and if it's that messed up... refund it. That's all I'm saying.

I showed them what I wanted and this is what i got. My before looked better than my after. How did they fix it? By asking me if i wanted to come in for a toner to strip the color but if i wanted it lighter like the first photo, it would be a different service and i would need to pay for it. So not only did i not get what i want, but how they were going to fix it was trying to get me back to my original color so i paid $$$ just so i could go back to my original color? The stylist stated she would get me in but i would have to pay for HER CORRECTION. It's upsetting they're okay with a client unhappy at the salon with what i got then to try to tell me the top of my hair is lighter when it's obviously not? Not cool.

Long read but overall experience: Worst experience at a hair salon. Poor communication. Salon that's in between school graduates and actual professional salons. Do not recommend. I originally visited for the model bayalage promo. Once told by the owner I would have to pay double due to the process they would have to do, I still agreed because I really wanted my hair to be done. Also because Sierra said originally Denise, Monce (or any intermediate tech), and herself would be doing my hair. It would benefit her beginner Denise and she'd be assisting. We booked a date, I rescheduled it, they provided a new date this is the beginning of the issue. The new date no longer would coincide with everything Sierra mentioned to me during booking. One important factor on my end is that I needed to be done by 4pm or 4:30 the latest so I can pick up my kids from school. Sierra told me it would take 6 hours so I'd start as soon as they open which is 10am. Great, booked it! The day of I was there from 10am to 7:35pm. Never in my life have I taken so long at a salon. I don't even have any friends or family members who've experienced this. While expressing my concern on time at the salon Sierra had Iliana tell me as if I was supposed to know that when Sierra said 6 hours she meant that as if it was going to be her doing my hair and that she said I'd be there all day meaning from open to close. Mmmm hello I was pretty clear on my time situation at booking. It somehow ended up being my fault for not understanding what the owner meant. So I said well I feel Sierra shouldn't have booked me knowing she couldn't help today (she did not help with my hair just took quick glances) I would be okay with going on a day all people mentioned would help. This is not my fault. I was told 6 hours. Don't quote me on your time if you're not doing my hair. Quote me on that techs time. Next issue. The time situation came down to me having to pick 1.)leave the salon and come back another day and pay even more money for my hair or 2.)finish that same day and only pay the $260. Obviously I wasn't going to pay more money so I had to ask them if I can leave to pick up my kids and come back. They said yes and that's a huge inconvenience for a customer. I'm also a business owner and if I knew I wasn't meeting the expectations set at booking or there being a miscommunication I would take a partial loss rather than a full loss and bad review. I was also told about 3 times if I didn't like my hair all I would have to pay is $50 more for toner. And more money if you wanted your hair blow dried after that too. It was honestly a big headache. Lastly, I ended up leaving with hair not even close to the inspiration photo provided. I left with hair that will need to be fixed. I knew if I called them to correct this I would have to pay the $50 or more. They also bleached my shirt pretty bad. It was by far the worst experience at a salon. I actually cried from having to be there all day. Paying so much money. & Leaving with hair a hair color I didn't want. Reply to Owner: I actually did not take it upon my self to reschedule. Your receptionist called me to confirm I said "I have to reschedule" she said she would call me back with a day that works again after she spoke with you. I have the call receipts for this. She called me back and gave me the day that I rescheduled. This action falls on y'all. Not on me, how am I supposed to know y'all's schedules?? That's you again trying to blame something on me. You also said it's normally a $500 service not $700 hence me paying a lil above half $260. Sure, you did have Iliana tell me about coming back another day but as I mentioned having to pay more if I decided to do that. I wasn't going to pay more. Which is why I agreed to finish all in one day. You approved for me to leave and come back. Yes, I wore a shirt that I am ok with getting a little bit of bleach on but come on that was too much. Never had that happen anywhere else. I actually posted this a few days after my service. Not weeks. Again you never mentioned two sessions. Future customers this should be a suggestion to record your conversation at consult.

I got my hair done here for the first time. I've probably referred about 10+ girls & I've only had my hair for about a week. This place is awesome, Miracle did my hair extensions and honestly I was scared at first since this was my first time having hair extensions but she educated me a lot about hair extensions and her experience as a hair stylist. She made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I will definitely be coming back for hair extensions and color. Also they we've free mimosas! It doesn't get better than that

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! went here on the recommendation of a friend and I wish I hadn't. I asked for a trim and subtle bangs. A trim. I wanted to keep as much length as I could. Well, unfortunately Monce must have forgotten to put her contacts in that day because my hair was butchered. She was nice enough and the salon was fine but the quality of service is by far the worst I've ever experienced. She struggled with the bangs a little and blending them into the rest of the hair on one side, while she was trying to blend the receptionist informed her her next client had arrived and she proceeded to rush through the rest of the cut. The blow out was fine and did a great job of hiding how bad my cut really was. It wasn't until I went home and had washed my hair a few days later that I really noticed how terrible it was. Thinking maybe it was just my natural curls that was making the cut look rough I straightened my hair and to my horror it only looked worse. First hair cut after months of being so sick with pregnancy and now I've lost inches of growth due to this hack job and having to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I went to tangerine salon, which I highly recommend, and the stylist said she couldn't even follow the attempted cut from Champagne Hair. Both cuts cost the same, $95 If you're wanting to roll the dice with hair school level skill this is the place for you!!!

Proof of Groupon refund.

I purchased a Groupon for the Brazilian Blowout at this salon and when I attempted to book the visit, the owner told me that they lowest price they honor for the service is $160, and if the Groupon I purchased cost less than that, I would be responsible for the remaining balance. She stated that this is listed under the Groupon disclosures, but in fact all the disclosure states is that "Additional fees may apply depending on hair length, texture, and density." When I brought this to her attention, she proceeded to argue with me about this and became quite unprofessional and would not let me get a world in edgewise. This is a deceptive business practice, although the owner feels that just because she is informing people who have purchased the Groupon before booking the appointment that what they paid for the service with the company will not be honored, it absolves her of the responsibility of advertising accurately. This attitude also displays a general disregard for the a customer's time spent when carefully choosing a business through Groupon. This kind of a deceptive business practice is precisely what erodes the confidence with prospective customers. On principle, I cannot and will not give this place my business. What a shame that this was the tone from the owner herself. Update to the owner's response below: I can still see that you are not taking any ownership of misleading the customer. Instead, you're resorting to blaming the customer and falsely projecting your own behavior on to them ("yelling", etc.). In reading the rest of your responses, I can see that you're largely defensive without being able to take customer feedback or strive to better your practice. I sincerely hope that you can take a better approach as a business owner. The entire entanglement you have with Groupon is deceptive; you want to benefit from the business a 3rd party is sending you even if you clearly disagree if any further discounting they provide to entice customers to buy the Groupon in the first place. You don't have to allow Groupon to advertise your business at all if you disagree with their policies. Basically, you want to have your cake and eat it too. Not good and not fair - that's precisely what makes your business practice deceptive. I stand by my review of your business. Update #2: To the owner's allegation that I never purchased the Groupon to begin with, please see screenshot of the refund. It's shocking how low you can go; at this point you're resorting to blatant lies.

Next they cut your hair to your liking and walk you through the process - they will tell you what looks good and why. With the amount of meticulous care I've seen them take compared to anyone else blows me out the water. Another hair wash (okay this is new to me since I have never seen a second hair wash in the North) and styling, waxing, blow drying your hair. Wow! The customer service here was the best I've ever received! I found out about this place…read morethrough a TikTok and decided to give it a try for a Japanese Straightening Perm. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lovely & welcoming owner and a cute dog roaming around. There was also Christmas music playing and coffee/tea. My hair was washed and then I had quick consultation where I was given honest suggestions. Since my hair was bleached within a year, they suggested that I go about with the permanent straightening only for the top of my head which was primarily virgin/healthy hair. Then, they would do a Keratin treatment for the bottom half. I was quoted a discount since it was my first time, so the whole treatment was $350 + tip which is about what I expected. The entire process took 3 hours. I was given snacks and water, and Richard was so personable. He didn't speak much English but we even communicated through an app on his phone! The photo is after my first wash and brushing through. Though it's not completely straight, the frizz is all gone! I'm hoping it stays like this, and I'm excited to get the full straightening perm next time. I will definitely be returning here and letting my friends know about this place.
