This morning (Saturday, June 20th), I stopped by Chamberlain Coffee and ordered the Glow Matcha Latte. I actually decided to visit after seeing a review from one of my Yelp friends mentioning that ordering this drink gets you a free lip gloss and sheet mask from Olive Young. I asked the cashier about it, and she confirmed it was true, so I decided to give it a try! The latte was delicious and not too sweet, which I liked. The only downside was that I couldn't get it decaf since it's matcha, and they didn't offer non-fat milk either. However, the cashier was friendly. She asked what kind of milk I preferred and brought up the Olive Young promo, asking if I was going to wait in line. When I told them I wasn't sure yet, she gave me a good tip: she said if I didn't want to wait, I could just show the green Olive Young card to the security guard to get the goodie bag. I was thankful for the advice! Interestingly enough, when I actually went to Olive Young, the security guard just told me to ask about the front desk. Despite that little mix-up, the cashier was very sweet and the matcha latte was good so I'm satisfied overall. I just really wish they had a decaf option! cf) One other disappointing thing was that the Asian woman who had been very unfriendly during my previous visit was still working there making coffee. came here for the glow matcha lattes (a collab with olive young) which was a matcha latte w dragonfruit cream top & dusting... it tasted very sour and there was no matcha taste at all. my friend and I got the same thing and hers looked darker in color for some reason (she got oat milk while I got whole) but that shouldnt mean mine should be that much lighter. it tasted like sour milk which was v unpleasant to say the least the drinks were pretty looking but $9 for that... totally not worth. we got a little card to receive a goodie bag from olive young though which kinda makes up for it (got a face mask & lip gloss) the workers there are very sweet tho and the drinks came out pretty quickly given how packed it was it is a small shop so after we ordered, we waited outside but there are small tables & some chairs outside if you'd like to sit there overall, matchas are not worth it imo (this was my 2nd time getting a matcha) but I can't speak for their coffees or pastries read more

Stopped by for Chamberlain coffee's collab with Olive Young, which just opened in the Century City mall! If you purchase their limited edition glow matcha (at a hefty $9.8) you can get a free goodie bag (with a face mask and lip gloss) at Olive Young! The collab is going on until June 22nd. The glow matcha latte is a matcha latte with dragon fruit syrup and topped with a dragon fruit cream top. I got mine half sweet and the sweetness level was perfect. This place has been quite a few different coffee/beverage places, but I was excited to try the new Chamberlain due to the fact they had a peanut butter mocha according to the photos here on yelp. Sadly, that drink was just a special but they do have 'peanut butter mocha latte' (basically a variation minus the chocolate ganache) which I decided to try in a regular size. The girl working the register was newer so she didn't know anything about the previous drink but I was willing to chance it. Also went with a chocolate croissant since it was there. Drink wasn't too bad; got it iced but it could have been prepared hot (minus the cloud). They use chunky ice cubes which take up a lot of space but I was able to enjoy what I had. Croissant was also good. The space is basically a glorified kiosk, but there is plenty of outdoor seating right around it. I've cut my coffee habit down significantly however I wouldn't mind dropping by again to see what they had to offer. There are quite a few coffee choices in the mall but I kept walking around, both downstairs and upstairs, until I settled on Chamberlain Coffee, which was upstairs and I had not heard about it before. In addition to a short, straightforward menu, they also have seasonal offerings posted on a temporary board. I was intrigued by the pickle matcha but tried the orange latte instead. The barista was singlehandedly taking orders and making coffee but was still very friendly and asked me how my morning was going. It turns out that people called in sick which is why she was alone on a Saturday morning. There is no seating inside but there is umbrella-covered seating outside but I took my coffee with me as I strolled the mall. Came in the afternoon and there was no line. The staff who took my order were very kind and friendly! She took her time to talk to me and make me feel welcomed. I ordered two drinks: a Matcha Latte with Foam on top and the Butterfly Pea Matcha. I had different opinions on the drinks. For the Matcha Latte I would give that a 4/5. Good flavor but not the best I've had! For the Butterfly Pea Matcha, I would give that a 3/5. The butterfly pea flavor was undetectable which was saddening. When I heard that chamberlain coffee was having a physical cafe I was very curious as I've bought from her packaged items before and thought they were decent but maybe having a physical storefront could improve the quality. We went during the first month of opening so everything was still new and the energy and lines were huge, as predicted lines were long and took about an hour. The Service was not very good or welcoming but as expected for opening month, we ordered a hazelnut and chocolate flavored latte's and through our high expectations.. we were disappointed as the flavors were so lacking and the coffee not tasting the best, we also in addition bought their coffee cake and had that before our coffee's and were disappointed in them also as it lacked flavor and was very dry. With that being said I returned pretty recently because I believe every place deserves second chances and to my knowledge it was the same result that I had from the first month, cold service and not very welcoming with underwhelming flavor in their coffee :(( I hope with years they can improve with trial and error as I wont be imposed to trying it again for the third time :) read more

Surprisingly nothing to complain about for a coffee kiosk started by a YouTuber in one of the worst malls in LA! The coffee was priced very normally for the area and the menu is straight to the point. My latte was much better than any chain coffee company in the area. The churro donut was good too. Ive always wanted to try Chamberlain Coffee for the past few months but didnt want to wait in line. Now that its been more than half a year since it opened, I decided to drop in to finally try it. I came on a Thursday afternoon and there was no line and surprisingly a good amount of pastries left. Never had a pistachio matcha before but it seemed like the specialty item here so I gave it a go. I was a bit sus with the way they make their matcha which was PREMADE and not hand whisked each time. However, I was surprised to still taste the deep umami matcha flavor. It was good on the first bite but too sweet after and using raspberry as the jam with the seeds in it was a poor choice. I threw most of it away and it cost over $5. My friend wanted to try this spot, so of course I joined. It's located on the second floor of the century city mall. I got - Emma's way, with vanilla. And a chocolate chip cookie - it became around 15 bucks. The service wasn't too bad, the line wasn't that long so it did go pretty quick. The cookie was really good, but it had a little too much salt on it. The coffee, honestly, was meh. It barely had vanilla, that I paid an extra dollar for, the coffee wasn't strong. I've been here a couple times now and really like their drinks! There's always a crazy line on the weekends but barely a wait on weekdays. I love their salted pistachio matcha latte! The matcha is smooth, and the cream top with pistachio bits is very yummy. It's currently one of my top 10 favorite matchas in LA! Sometimes I want a lower calorie (and cheaper) drink so I like ordering the Emma's Way, though it seems they took that off their menu. Although I love Emma Chamberlain and I trust her, I will say I was a bit hesitant to get the Matcha because it was so expensive. But the large size is so worth it. I got the blue Matcha and next time I would just opt for the regular Matcha to save a little bit of money because the blue Matcha did not taste much different since they use butterfly pea for the color and that does not have much of a flavor. I came here with my friends and honestly, I was so excited because I love emma!! My friend got the salted pistachio matcha & I got the blue matcha. The second photo added is how the blue matcha looks once it's mixed. After you shake it, the blue matcha tastes like fruity pebbles!! Century city is a place where I run into to many people. It's nice to go into chamberlain coffee and order a little something you know... I love their little return policy, it's amazing I got a sugary blue matcha latte (way to sweet) and was able to return it which I am very thankful for (I shouldn't be it was $8 for a matcha latte but Starbucks is $7.50 so this place gets 5 stars). I bought their matcha for $32 and have been making matcha lattes at home with it and it tastes as good as some matcha I got in Korea. (Very high quality). It's definitely expensive for what it is... Tried the classic iced latte, matcha, and salted pistachio matcha latte. The coffee was really good to my taste. The pistachio matcha latte tasted like a milkshake in a good way, but I would personally add more matcha - it was pretty light. Pastries were not the freshest, maybe because we were coming after 3 pm. I was really surprised there were no lines like I expected. The wait time was never over 10 minutes. And I love the location.
