Funny story. We actually first spotted % Arabica in Tokyo, but the line was absolutely brutal so we passed. Fast forward to LA, and we stumble into the one at The Grove. The line was long, but nothing like Tokyo, and honestly way shorter than the wait at LaLa Land nearby, which is ironic because the coffee there is nowhere near as good (albeit thier drinks are more "fun") and photogenic. So glad we went for it. If you're a coffee purist, this is your spot. We ordered the honey latte and it was perfect. A great balance of nuttiness, incredibly smooth, and the light sweetness just enhanced the flavor rather than masking it. No syrups, no sugar overload, just really good, clean coffee doing what it's supposed to do. Fair warning though: if you're looking for an Instagram-worthy, sweet treat drink, this probably isn't your vibe. But if you appreciate premium coffee that actually tastes like coffee, this is a must-try. read more

It is my first time to visit this place/store. I tried checking their paper menus but their menus font size are so small so it is so hard to read also their menus looks worn out. They offer basic and quite simple drinks selection which I like because it will be easy for customers to choose and order plus,the staff can focus even more in prepping the drinks better. I got the Spanish Latte today which is sweet and creamy,this drink is sweetened with condensed milk which is really perfect match for a freshly brewed arabica coffee beans. The Not so good- SERVICE! I was so disapointed with the service I received today,The staff that assisted me didnt bother to smile,greet and offer tbest seller drinks instead I ask her recommended drinks and she answered me like she is not happy for me to be there and be a customer.My excitement vanished in an instant with her super cold customer interaction.. Also-The front and side part of their stores/flooring is so dirty and sticky with old drops/splash of their drinks. I hope they look into it and clean it especially since they are selling drinks. My brother became obsessed with % Arabica after going to Japan and literally tracked down the U.S. locations after. This one at The Grove is one of only two spots in the country, the other being in New York, and it's this small standalone coffee shop right in the middle of the Grove. I've had the Spanish Latte both iced and hot with oat milk and my God the consistency every single time is insane. Smooth, rich, dark roasted flavor without tasting bitter and perfectly sweet. You can genuinely taste the quality of the coffee. What makes it even cooler is that the brand was founded in Kyoto, Japan with the idea of "seeing the world through coffee," and honestly you can feel that attention to detail in every cup. The vibe is clean, minimal, and just really well done. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots now. read more

Super late post, but better late than never, right?! % Arabica is a kiosk at one end of The Grove at Farmer's Market close to Nike and Gap. They use dark roast for their espresso drinks which made their LATTE delicious and my MACCHIATO rich! There was a line to order but it went by fast. It didn't take long before we got our order. This is a kiosk so there is no indoor dining area. If you've been to The Grove, then you know that the entire "park" is you outdoor dining area. Workers are efficient and courteous. read more

The drinks were alight and not really strong for the matcha drinks. I would've liked to have a much stronger tea flavor preferably. It was also super bitter and had to add a bunch of sugar to make it tolerable. Service itself is great and the location/stand itself is pretty which lends itself to great photos but the drinks don't match it sadly. read more

I was super excited to try, but ended up kind of disappointed with my drinks. My friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon, The Grove was busy, but there's not much wait for % Arabic. If you are expecting authentic matcha then this is NOT the place. Their matcha base is pre-made and kept in a squeeze bottle. Our matcha drinks were done in less than 2 minutes. Since the matcha is not whisked and mixed well, it is very chunky and not creamy at all! The matcha is not earthy and complex, very simple and bitter in some parts when you swallow the matcha chunks. I don't recommend on trying this location, I know other % Arabic locations will do much better job than this. Staffs were nice and the stall was neat and clean. read more

Went to the Grove today, relatively short line at Arabica. There were a ton of people there today so the employees were probably annoyed but the cashier did have an attitude after just asking for the difference between a few drinks. Regardless, came for the coffee and ordered an iced caffe latte. It was disappointing as I could not taste the coffee but rather just the milk. I was super excited to try Arabica in America since I have only tried the ones in Asia. But before even getting my coffee I was already disappointed by the service. I went to this location on December 30th 2025 around 11am. There was a girl was on duty taking orders and a guy making the coffee. Both the workers seemed like they do not want to be there and hated their lives, which reflected on the service they provide to the customers. No smiles, no greetings, just straight up rbf. At one point, I went up to the counter to check if my order was ready. Before I could even ask or say a single word, the guy who was in charge of making the coffee and calling out the order goes, "it's not yours" with an attitude. First of all that's super rude, good luck with getting tips with that attitude. Secondly, sir who hurt you. I didn't even say a single word, chill. So if management sees this, just know this flagship location sucks. The worst one compares to the many locations I have gone to all over Asia and Southeast Asia, and it's not even about the quality. It's about your staffs and the non welcoming environment they create, which deter costumers from coming back. So if you decide to give Arabica a try at this location, set your standard super low. Because the staffs will disappoint you and that might just bring down the mood and the taste of the coffee. read more

Really nice stall at the Grove, they use a Slayer espresso machine and the latte foam texture has a great mouth feel. The Kyoto Latte flavor is pretty intense and rich compared to the Caffe Latte. It reminds me of dark chocolate and about halfway the condensed milk starts kicking in and sweetens the drink over time. It might be intimidating for someone who prefers sweeter drinks, but definitely don't add additional sweetener, or it'll be overpowering. read more

First of all I learned that this place is a chain cafe in Japan which I thought was near and second of all the coffee is so smooooth. I wish I lived closer! This little coffee shop is a tiny shop in front of the Nike store at The Grove in Los Angeles. Apparently, it's the spot to get your coffee while you walk around the shopping center. They don't have an extensive menu, but what they do have is just what you need. My friend raved about the Kyoto Latte, so that was the drink of choice. It will come in handy once it starts to get cooler. Tasty and reasonably priced, I'd get it again. The service is fast, as there were 3 employees working on a busy Saturday. The guy at the register could have been more friendly, but I guess he was just trying to ring people up as fast as he could. I'll have to come back to try some of their other drinks. read more

Best recent coffee stand I've been to. Amazing lighting and if you end up trying it out you will start believing you're a coffee drinker even if you only had it for the experience. I hope they restock the cups for iced coffee because somehow I drank an entire Matcha latte in under 10 mins - wonder if the green was prettier would it have been tastier. I actually prefer the Matcha regardless but I enjoyed also the Spanish latte with whole milk. It was horrible walking through The Grove but honestly funny cause it's shockingly near the popular brands and basic pop-ups.
