Super late post, but better late than never, right?! % Arabica is a kiosk at one end of The Grove at Farmer's Market close to Nike and Gap. They use dark roast for their espresso drinks which made their LATTE delicious and my MACCHIATO rich! There was a line to order but it went by fast. It didn't take long before we got our order. This is a kiosk so there is no indoor dining area. If you've been to The Grove, then you know that the entire "park" is you outdoor dining area. Workers are efficient and courteous.
The drinks were alight and not really strong for the matcha drinks. I would've liked to have a much stronger tea flavor preferably. It was also super bitter and had to add a bunch of sugar to make it tolerable. Service itself is great and the location/stand itself is pretty which lends itself to great photos but the drinks don't match it sadly.
The male cashier at the time of my transaction was rude, 07/31/26 at around 12:30pm. He sounded like i begged him for coffee. He gave us attitude for just asking for a hot larger size latte and our croissant to be warmed up. Been through a lot of international branches of Arabica and like the coffee, we always make a stop by here, since this is the only CA location at this time. Idk, he ruined it for me.
Favorite coffee in LA by FAR. I have been to so many coffee shops and everytime I want to check out a new one, I just honestly divert and go here instead. The coffee is consistent. And the coffee is so good. I've seen a few say it's bland. If you're used to coffee being extremely sweet or Starbucks, then yeah. This place isn't for you. I however think this is the best coffee in LA for the best price. To the point where I kinda just wanna hate keep this place. But I've been going for a year now. They're usually always busy but super fast. I tell everyone to try the Kyoto latte. I ended up switching to a single origin latte and just splash a bit of their liquid sugar in it. It's amazing. I really love this place and would pick it over anywhere else. I've taken multiple friends here and they have loved their Kyoto latte. Mary does great as the manager. All the staff does a good job making quick service. I so enjoy seeing them every week.
My brother became obsessed with % Arabica after going to Japan and literally tracked down the U.S. locations after. This one at The Grove is one of only two spots in the country, the other being in New York, and it's this small standalone coffee shop right in the middle of the Grove. I've had the Spanish Latte both iced and hot with oat milk and my God the consistency every single time is insane. Smooth, rich, dark roasted flavor without tasting bitter and perfectly sweet. You can genuinely taste the quality of the coffee. What makes it even cooler is that the brand was founded in Kyoto, Japan with the idea of "seeing the world through coffee," and honestly you can feel that attention to detail in every cup. The vibe is clean, minimal, and just really well done. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots now.
I almost tried % Arabica in Kyoto Arashiyama but the line was at least an hour wait. So I came back to Los Angeles, my home, to try it here :D Since it was a warm afternoon in LA, and I was missing Kyoto, I experienced their Iced Kyoto Latte. Much needed coffee break today. The line was a little long but it moved fast. Service is always good. We ordered an iced latte, a hot latte and a hot matcha. I love Arabica coffee coz of its richness and fullness. If you haven't had their coffee, you should definitely try.
I was super excited to try, but ended up kind of disappointed with my drinks. My friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon, The Grove was busy, but there's not much wait for % Arabic. If you are expecting authentic matcha then this is NOT the place. Their matcha base is pre-made and kept in a squeeze bottle. Our matcha drinks were done in less than 2 minutes. Since the matcha is not whisked and mixed well, it is very chunky and not creamy at all! The matcha is not earthy and complex, very simple and bitter in some parts when you swallow the matcha chunks. I don't recommend on trying this location, I know other % Arabic locations will do much better job than this. Staffs were nice and the stall was neat and clean.

There were a ton of people there today so the employees were probably annoyed but the cashier did have an attitude after just asking for the difference between a few drinks. Regardless, came for the coffee and ordered an iced caffe latte. It was disappointing as I could not taste the coffee but rather just the milk. I got the smaller size but It could be better if an extra shot was added. I probably wouldn't come back but it is a vibe in terms of aesthetics
Coffee stand located in the middle of the Grove, hey don't have a seating area but you can usually find seats around there pretty easily. Coffee is alright but they stick to classics which is nice. Service is pretty slow but overall good!
What an adorable little stand! The staff is so friendly and kind. The Kyoto latte was incredible. Perfect flavor and foam. I wish there were more of these around LA. Would love to visit at a shop.

It is my first time to visit this place/store. I tried checking their paper menus but their menus font size are so small so it is so hard to read also their menus looks worn out. They offer basic and quite simple drinks selection which I like because it will be easy for customers to choose and order plus,the staff can focus even more in prepping the drinks better. I got the Spanish Latte today which is sweet and creamy,this drink is sweetened with condensed milk which is really perfect match for a freshly brewed arabica coffee beans. The Not so good- SERVICE! I was so disapointed with the service I received today,The staff that assisted me didnt bother to smile,greet and offer tbest seller drinks instead I ask her recommended drinks and she answered me like she is not happy for me to be there and be a customer.My excitement vanished in an instant with her super cold customer interaction.. Also-The front and side part of their stores/flooring is so dirty and sticky with old drops/splash of their drinks. I hope they look into it and clean it especially since they are selling drinks. I wish to come back and try their other drinks but I am not really sure about it :( read more

The Kyoto latte at % Arabica was rich, creamy and flavorful. The staff were friendly and service was fast. Ambiance is upbeat, festive of Christmas since it's located at The Grove in LA. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Parking can be challenging so come early. read more
Best recent coffee stand I've been to. Amazing lighting and if you end up trying it out you will start believing you're a coffee drinker even if you only had it for the experience. I hope they restock the cups for iced coffee because somehow I drank an entire Matcha latte in under 10 mins - wonder if the green was prettier would it have been tastier. I actually prefer the Matcha regardless but I enjoyed also the Spanish latte with whole milk. It was horrible walking through The Grove but honestly funny cause it's shockingly near the popular brands and basic pop-ups. I'm a fan of the concept, plus would like to have more locations to caucus at. Shine, baby, shine. read more

Heard about this in Japan but didn't get a chance to visit. I'm not sure how it compares. I got the matcha latte with oat milk unsweetened. I believe it only comes in a 12 oz size. I don't mind the bitterness but it was just ok. Really quick and convenient. Literally took 30 seconds because they have the matcha pre-made in a squeeze bottle. The other reviews talk about bad service but mine seemed normal. read more

So happy % Arabica made it to LA. Was my all-time favorite when I had it Japan, the one thing I wished to have back home. Love the coffee aroma from their beans! It's a outdoor booth in the Grove, but it makes for a good reason to also come shopping especially with all the Christmas festivities here. read more

Not as good as I remember it in New York but nonetheless a solid latte. Staff was a bit standoffish but maybe they were tired! I would still check this place out if you've never been. They have some of the best espresso beans. read more

I was super excited to try Arabica in America since I have only tried the ones in Asia. But before even getting my coffee I was already disappointed by the service. I went to this location on December 30th 2025 around 11am. There was a girl was on duty taking orders and a guy making the coffee. Both the workers seemed like they do not want to be there and hated their lives, which reflected on the service they provide to the customers. No smiles, no greetings, just straight up rbf. At one point, I went up to the counter to check if my order was ready. Before I could even ask or say a single word, the guy who was in charge of making the coffee and calling out the order goes, "it's not yours" with an attitude. First of all that's super rude, good luck with getting tips with that attitude. Secondly, sir who hurt you. I didn't even say a single word, chill. So if management sees this, just know this flagship location sucks. The worst one compares to the many locations I have gone to all over Asia and Southeast Asia, and it's not even about the quality. It's about your staffs and the non welcoming environment they create, which deter costumers from coming back. So if you decide to give Arabica a try at this location, set your standard super low. Because the staffs will disappoint you and that might just bring down the mood and the taste of the coffee. read more

Really nice stall at the Grove, they use a Slayer espresso machine and the latte foam texture has a great mouth feel. The Kyoto Latte flavor is pretty intense and rich compared to the Caffe Latte. It reminds me of dark chocolate and about halfway the condensed milk starts kicking in and sweetens the drink over time. It might be intimidating for someone who prefers sweeter drinks, but definitely don't add additional sweetener, or it'll be overpowering. read more

I stopped by % Arabica at The Grove-- it's a small booth, mainly grab and go since there isn't really anywhere to sit. I'm a big fan of % Arabica and have been to their locations in New York and Kyoto, so I was excited to see one here too. I went with the Kyoto Latte this time, and as always, their coffee hits the spot. The quality is consistently great and always leaves me satisfied. Also, service was great! read more

First of all I learned that this place is a chain cafe in Japan which I thought was near and second of all the coffee is so smooooth. I wish I lived closer! I survived visiting The Grove on Christmas Eve day but this coffee was a great boost in energy. I tried their mocha latte and it was such a cozy vibe, it even rained a little while I was walking around with it. Anyway the coffee is delicious, it didn't take too long to get even tho it was a little busy and the atmosphere was lovely. Plenty of parking but it costs so... get it validated if you can. read more

Fantastic coffee. And a hidden gem for coffee lovers! I think it's hard to pull off a dark roast, cold brew because so much of the nuance of coffee is roasted away. Really enjoyed their cold brew, Spanish latte and Kyoto latte! Their matcha is also one of my favorites. read more

This coffee has a similar taste to Blue Bottle Coffee.If you like sweet coffee with lots of cold foam this isn't for you, as this is more on the stronger side. If you enjoy a real coffee, I recommend! I believe this is the Kyoto Latte in the pic (rate 8.5) read more
