Lots of ham. $10 comes with fresh salad and tasty dressing.

Such a cute, comfortable and uplifting environment. The food is inexpensive, tasty, casual with an air of excellence. The seating is limited so it is best to eat at pre peak meal times. Items are prepared in advance. If you have a particular allergy be sure to let them know. I was determined to find something I would enjoy. I found the ham quiche. Loaded with ham and to my surprise a fresh salad with dressing. It was plenty of food and only $10. See photo. The service was fast and friendly. They were eager to accommodate my special dietary needs. They were also knowledgeable regarding the contents of the menu choices. I highly recommend this cafe when you visit the museum.

Great Cafe to stop at while you are visiting the City Museum for New York. I stopped to rest my legs and have a beverage but I did get a rumble in my tummy as I watched several patrons enjoy some lovely looking sandwiches and freshly prepared (not pre packaged ) salads. The car also sells wine and a couple of locally Brewed beers. I enjoyed a lovely cup of mint infused iced tea and my friend enjoyed a carrot ginger iced tea, an interesting combination but a bit to strong for my taste. It was a bit pricey at $4.00 but I was thirsty and it hit the spot. The cafe also offers plenty of indoor seating options to enjoy your meal or beverage and my favorite part... people watch.

MCNY visit let to a little got chocolate and croissant break and opportunity to catch up with a friend. Lovely ambiance + delicious food + friendly service = pleasant experience! We enjoyed ourselves and will be back for a visit as the museum itself was very educational and pleasant surprise.

Yes I do hope more museums have cafes like this one. Sandwiches are great, coffee too. I do hope they have more variety.

The menu is fairly on the basic side - mainly drinks and pastries and there is some sandwiches. We decided to get the hot chocolate with whip cream (the whip cream is very needed). It was very rich, thick and delicious and not "too sweet." The whip cream really makes it more creamy and it does not really add to the sweetness which was good. We also got a side of Salame e Formaggio which I would recommend passing on because the cheese was kind of hard and not that great. The salami was good and honestly I'm not a fan of olives but my friend who liked it enjoyed them. Overall - a cute place to stop by for a hot chocolate and maybe a pastry!

We got a torta caprese (flourless chocolate cake), a sfogliatella, a hot chocolate, and a machiatto. The torta caprese was okay. The sfogliatella, which is supposed to be light and crisp, was clearly stale and chewy, although they warmed it up which was a helpful touch. The hot chocolate was reviewed on Instagram as being super rich and decadent, but it was made from a mix that smelled oddly similar to Swiss Miss. the machiatto was also quite watery. Come here for the vibes, but not for the food.
