5--Pad See Ew with a Thai Tea
Beth E.

It had been quite some time since we ate here--because Prescott area is blessed with many eating establishments. We were very happy we came back. Our meals were delicious. They had nice portion sizes. I had the 5--Pad See Ew and my love had the 7. The restaurant has nice ambiance with fresh flower bouquets on each table. It feels cozy and has a warm vibe. Service is always with a smile. There is ample parking since it is up in the Frontier Village Shopping Area. Takeout orders were happening while we were there.

I came here for dinner with my parents last month and it was a very good experience! The restaurant was nearly empty although it seemed like they were doing a brisk take away business. We were seated right away and given time to peruse the extensive menu. TBH, this was last month, so I do not recall what we ordered! However, the food came quickly and the portions were ENORMOUS!! We ordered 3 dishes and easily got 6 meals out of it! The food was very good... I don't eat Thai food that often, so I don't have a lot to compare it with, but it was flavorful and fresh! Service was efficient and not overly friendly, but that's OK, we were there to eat!

I stopped in here while in town, was really hoping to get a cup of soup with lunch but their soups are all full portions. Got the lunch pad see ew. It was OK, a little sweeter than I expected, but the noodles were delicious. I would've loved a little more beef and cabbage. The side salad that came with it was fresh, I didn't love the peanut dressing because it was also too sweet and there wasn't a lot of salad, but nevertheless overall tasty.

The food is AMAZING!!!!! Better than my favorite spot in Phoenix. I had the shrimp pad Thai with peanuts and extra onions. I also had the crab rangoons and they were better than I expected with a nice blend of cream cheese, crab and great bites of onion. I got the pad Thai spice level 3 and I thought it was a little too spicy for me and I can take some heat. The Thai tea with cream was a dream. You definitely need to check this place out if you're in the area.

This is jidden in a corner of the strip mall that houses the The Picture Show! You are greeted with smiles and the sweetest aromas you can imagine from Asian cuisine. I had to get the Jasmine hot tea, while Hubbs got the traditional Thai Tea, (my favorite) We ordered the Noodle Tom Yum Soup! So fresh and tasty! We ate the whole bowl. Then I ordered the Chicken Larb and Hubbs ordered the Pad Kee Mow. We walked out with our bellies full and our hearts filled with content! Most definately coming back here again! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Although your place is pricey, Scottsdale prices, it will probably not deter us from eating there. My scallops were good, although there were only five, but I love the bed of Farro and the vegetables that were served on. My husband ordered the lamb chops that were absolutely cooked perfect and they were phenomenal. My friend ordered the steak tartar, a salad and it was awesome. We are so excited to have found a wonderful restaurant with a Gourmet experience. It was a pleasure to to have met all of you! I WOULD RECOMMEND

I love the open kitchen concept. They have a small Menu, but change it weekly! We started off with the goat cheese mousse appetizer, which was to die for! My husband loved it so much he decided to have a second order of that and the Roasted Peach Salad for his dinner! I had the Lamb Chops. They were so so good! They were so thick I could actually only eat one of them after eating the goat cheese appetizer. I was able to bring two of them home which will be great for another meal.!! Yay for me!! Service was excellent by Lizzie! We wanted to take a little time and have a drink before we ordered and there was no pressure to hurry. The restaurant only has six tables and four chairs at like a bar/counter. I would highly suggest making reservations. I believe they're only open Thursday through Sunday, so plan ahead. I highly recommend this restaurant.!! I can't wait to go back and try it another night with a different Menu!

They had a lobster festival going on and we were so excited to partake. It was so good. My lobster was cooked. Absolutely perfect. The hostess was great. The waitress was amazing and we like the venue. Here's my complaint. No TALLOW and pretty much know red wine that I can drink. Basically all they carry is domestic red wines, nothing from South America, Italy, France, or Spain, what a letdown. Come on. I wanna come back, but you have to give me some choices for food and wine. All in all our experience was good. The service was fabulous and so is the lobster. I WOULD RECOMMEND

We had the sea bass, a Reuben with sweet potato fries, and the caesar salad. Service was sub par. We had reservations at 5:30 and called around 3:55 seeing if it would be ok to come early. The response made us think the restaurant must have been packed, or expected a packed evening. We were told we could come at 4, but not 4:15. We rushed and walked over by 4:10 and the restaurant was more than half empty. The hosts were stilled confused when we arrived and not sure where to seat us. Once we sat, we waited over 5 minutes to be greeted. No introduction of the menu or restaurant or recommendations unless asked. We left around 5:30 and there were still several open tables. The fish tacos and the burger were especially amazing. Definitely a must-visit and must-try spot!

We both had a drink and appetizer before our meal. The calamari was very good and the cocktail sauce was unusual and delicious. I liked my escargot except for one thing. They used to make it with puff pastry and have since replaced that with melted cheese. I prefer the pastry because the cheese tends to overpower the delicate flavor of the escargot. We both had the prime rib and it was tender and delicious. Unlike many other places, the au jus was not at all salty but had a rich beef flavor. I recommend Murphy's without reservation.

Even after the second attempt, it still wasn't right. For a restaurant known for its steaks, that's unacceptable. To make matters worse, the entire place had a strong mothball-like smell that was impossible to ignore and lingered with us even after we left. As we were walking out, another patron commented that the food was "barely palatable," which pretty much summed up our experience as well. The service tried to address the issue, but the poor food quality and unpleasant atmosphere overshadowed everything else. Sadly, we won't be returning.

The atmosphere has that classic, old-school family diner feel, which can be charming. The building is definitely showing its age, though, and could use a little TLC. Even without a full renovation, a deep cleaning would go a long way in freshening up the space. I've ordered the chili relleno omelette both times, served with breakfast potatoes and a muffin. It's packed with flavor and has just the right amount of spice--for someone who thinks toothpaste is spicy! The first one was a little creamier, but both were outstanding. On our first visit, my husband had a BBQ sandwich (of some sort) with French fries, and he really enjoyed it. The second time, he decided to try the A1 Burger with a side of zucchini "coins" (which, amusingly, weren't actually round). He was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the burger was, and it was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. Maybe one of these visits we'll even give in and try the salad and taco bar!
