Wow I got the Penang curry seafood. It is really good. Lots of fish, shrimp, scallops and muscles. They added mushrooms at no charge. Excellent flavors. Spice level 3 was just right for me. I was hunkering down in my Prescott cottage because of covid but had a craving for Thai foos. Prescott delivery options aren't all that great but I could get Chais Thai delivered for some crazy jacked up priced. Fortunately I had a coupon for reduced delivery. Unfortunately I wasted it on Chais Thai. I had the pad thai and while the skinny rice noodles were an odd choice it was the blandness of the dish that disappointed. The best Tom Yum soup that I have ever had (had the coconut milk variety). It was a perfect broth and the mushrooms were large and not sliced. We also had spring rolls, pad thai, and yellow curry. The Thai iced tea is great, order it with little ice it'll last a bit longer and carry a stronger flavor. The fresh rolls with shrimp are tasty and well constructed. I was looking forward to my dish, but I found many rice weavils in the noodles. Took a few out to show the waitress and she kept insisting they were char from the pot they were cooked in. They had legs and a few had wings??( I guess there was flying insects in it too). I kept looking and my noodles were full of them. I'm actually not one to complain if I find a hair or a mosquito in food as I just pick it out and no big deal. But I know rice weavils when I see them and the waitress kept squishing them in her hands trying to make is as of they weren't there, disregarding our concern. She kept trying to get us to be quiet as to not alert other customers. Not even a different dish or refund was offered on just that one dish. I am just concerned that they're improperly storing their grains and pastas and should probably get rid of the contaminated foods or at least properly remove everything before cooking it. Others at my table ordered other things not made with those noodles and the dishes were completely fine. Like I said, I'm not fussy when it comes to food but the attitude of the waitress was horrible about this and it's not like I was trying to get a free meal as I didn't read any of the dish. It was left untouched... I ended up having to pay for it since I didn't want to cause a huge fuss, but this was so unprofessional and bad customer service. read more

I tried this place for the first time yesterday. I had heard a lot of good reviews on the FB Prescott Foodies page. Walking in we were immediately welcomed by friendly faces. Everything appeared clean, neat and in order. Service was really attentive and kind. Our food was nice, hot and delicious! It was beautifully prepared and presented with care. We had the pot stickers, green curry and my son had one of the fried rices. I am pretty picky when it comes to eating out and it was a good experience all around. We will be back! read more

Heard from a friend that this place is in the mall and new. WOW, So good! Im a curry and pad thai guy. Had to decide on the pad thai. Asked for level 3 spice of 1-5. Great choice. Just spicey enough to get me sweatimg a little. I ordered a Thai ice tea so I coukd tell my wife how it was. Not really my thing. But it was great too! So impressed. Very nice people too. I was surprised that this restaurant was at the food court but we went to check it out because of the reviews. We got the pad tai and it was pretty tasty. It's a bit expensive but I would go back again. They use fresh ingredients and you can taste that. Fresh veggies and big portions. Don't let the fact that it's at a mall and in the food court deter you. It really is a great place and if you have a large group, there is plenty of seating in the food court. Chais Thai is second on my list of places to go to for authentic Thai food around this town. I especially love their Thai tea with boba!! What's not to love about boba? I have a hard time with the fresh rolls as the peanut butter sauce is a little too thick than what I'm used to, however the sizes of the summer rolls are great. You ever dream about eating something all day and when you eat it it's bad? This was terrible. I normally visit Thai cafe, but recently moved to prescott and this was closer. The entrees were twice the price but the reviews looked okay so I took the plunge and ordered. It was SO bad!!!! My food literally stunk. It smelled like wet dog. What a gem! Darrell is the nicest guy ever and their Thai Tea is the best I've ever had! My wife and I travel all over the country eating Thai food, and while it was unfortunate we didn't get to dine with them, I have to say their Tea takes the #1 spot from San Diego all the way to NYC!
