Well-worth a visit! We enjoyed our meal, and we will most likely return in the future. I am giving this a five-star rating overall for quality of service, ambiance and extreme cleanliness. It is a very inviting restaurant, and the people are very friendly. I am having a hard time rating the food though. Just like your idea of meatloaf and mine are probably not the same, this Thai food is at the edge of my preferences because it tends toward the sweet side. It is very well made with an excellent amount of fresh vegetables and good quality chicken, so that is a plus. The meal was delicious, we had green curry and the basil stir fried chicken. My wife and I enjoyed a Valentines dinner at this enjoyable restaurant. The food was fresh and extremely flavorful. The portions were nice and the owner was an extremely personable and wanted to make sure we enjoyed each dish. In particular, the green papaya salad bursted with flavors and the pork potstickers were not thick with dough. We also had an awesome rice noodle dish. It's hard to find great Thai food in the suburbs. But, we found this little gem in a quiet area of Plainfield! The owner was so friendly and helpful. He chatted with us as he served our table. We ordered, chicken satay and fried calamari for appetizers. Both were mouthwatering! The satay also came with peanut sauce and a small cucumber sauce. Calamari was not over battered. It was perfectly light and crisp with a sweet chili dipping sauce. We also ordered shrimp tom yum soup, shrimp pad thai, thai fried rice, green curry chicken, and pad krapao chicken. Everything was soooo amazingly delectable and fresh! We also ordered the mango sticky rice and the color of the rice was blue! It also had crispy mung bean toppings! The presentation was beautiful!! This was a treat as I know that most Thai restaurants do not serve it this way as I am sure it is much work and probably done for more fancy occasions. Came in on a cold, quiet Tuesday evening and was pleasantly surprised to find a well decorated, inviting restaurant tucked in the middle of nowhere. I started with the Thai Money Bag. Four Yummy, flavorful chicken bites fried in wanton wrappers, served with standard sweet Thai sauce. They were fun to eat and a great bite to start off the meal. Next up, the Thai Garden with Chicken and extra broccoli. I love adding broccoli to any Thai stir fry because it's the perfect vehicle to soak up all of the tasty brown sauce without having to overdo it with rice. The name Thai Garden definitely rings true to the fish, it's completely packed with fresh veggies. The chicken was well cooked and the entire dish was sweet, with a hint of garlic and lots of natural flavor from all of the veggies. The sauce was perfect for the dish because it wasn't overpowering. We had the gluten-free Thai Basil Fried Rice with vegetables and the gluten-free Penang Curry with vegetables. Both were well seasoned and expertly prepared. I tried the fried rice a second time as a carry out order and it seems like you get a little more when dining in. My biggest complaint is that they leave a mobile table cleaning station with spray cleaners, bins, and rags visible at all times (it is left in the main dining area). First Absolute BBQ & now Chai Thai. Heard the rave, was excited about a Thai restaurant Opening up in the neighborhood then saw their Sign's go up...now we Looove Thai Food, so the anticipation was pretty obvious with me, my family & my employees. Decided to go today after work because I couldn't have lunch, Ordered Tom Yum with Shrimp and Talay Fire as my entree. Tom Yum was the best I had had in a while, flavorful, spicy, sour, yum yum yum. Talay Fire was the highlight of the evening, Seafood tossed with green beans, bell peppers, some kind of Thai chilli brown sauce. I had to be in tears and a Wow mode with every bite I had. Seriously HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Portions were awesome, I was completely full after the meal and I promise you I left nothing on my plate, not even a drop of that brown Thai sauce.. I should have known with the extensive list of "help wanted" positions in the window... My husband and I went at 7:30 on a Friday evening. There were two other tables occupied. I ordered an appetizer, we drank water, and we ordered two entrees off the menu. That was the only time we interacted with any of the staff for the first 45 minutes of being there. 45 min later, I asked about my appetizer. It had been sitting in the back. It was disappointing (fried tofu). 10 minutes later, our food still hadn't been prepared. We had other obligations so I paid for my appetizer and we left. There were 5 individuals in the kitchen and literally one entree left the kitchen the entire tome we were there. I have no idea what anyone was doing, but we left hungry and irritated. They seemed irritated we wouldn't wait even longer for our food (we had to pick up our kids at a specific time). Definitely go elsewhere!! We went to Aurelios a few doors down after picking up the kids and actually ate. I don't predict this place will make it. read more

Found a great local spot close to home! Checked out this place tonight and i am happy to have another go to place for a Thai food. Was a party of 2 - we ordered the Thai money bags appetizer. It was fried wonton filled with chicken , corn, water chestnuts and vegetables-served with a sweet sauce. My husband had Beef Pad Thai- it was delicious. I was able to grab a bite before he added extra spice to it! I had the Chai Thai delight. It was lightly fried chicken with cashews, pineapple, carrots and peppers. Would have like it to be a bit spicier but it was very good. I could have added spice to it but wanted to enjoy as is.. finished off with mango sticky rice for dessert-yum! We had Goong Spring Roll for appetizers (3 pcs.) and it's just enough to tickle the palate. We shared the Pad Gaprow and the Gaeng Panang (w/ chicken). Vegetables with these dishes were cooked perfectly, chicken was tender, and the sauce is on point. We asked for medium heat (Thai food is sweet & spicy for the most part) and it was perfect. Their menu indicates whether the dish is Vegan or Gluten-'friendly' or both. They encourage cash payments, otherwise they charge 3.5% credit card fee. But who cares? Wow. The FRESHEST thai food I have ever had. What a little gem of a restaurant my boyfriend and I stumbled into. He didn't know if he liked thai food and now he can"t wait to go back. Even the pork dumplings were amazingly crispy and flavorful, and they offer a vegetarian version too!! I might even go back tonight!!! They serve beer and wine and have a super cute atmosphere.
