I always wondered what the food was like but never had the time to check it out because I was usually rushing back to work. After the appointment, the weather was nice, and I was starving, so I decided to walk over around lunchtime and finally try it for myself. The place is a bit small on the inside, but it's kept very clean, which I appreciate. The service was also very fast. Even though it was lunchtime on Friday, there weren't a lot of people around, so I was seated almost immediately and a waitress came by to take my order shortly after. I ordered the Panang Curry with chicken (which also came with a side of rice), and a soda. The food came out pretty quickly too, and was steaming hot. I had thought initially since nobody was around, that maybe the food or service here might be bad. I was wrong. I've had a lot of Panang Curries in the past (it's my favorite Thai dish), so I knew what to expect taste-wise. But this was probably the best Panang Curry I've ever had, hands down. It made the other Panang Curries I've had from other Thai restaurants nearby seem bad in comparison. This Panang Curry was spicy (but not *too* spicy), savory, and it had the perfect ratio of sauce to vegetables to chicken. I also really appreciate that this restaurant didn't skimp out on the chicken; other nearby restaurants will throw in just a small handful of meat pieces and call it a day, which ruins the dish in my opinion. This was the ultimate Panang Curry, and probably the best one you'll find in the suburbs of Chicago. Aside from the food, the restaurant was clean, the service was fast, and the staff was nice. I'd highly recommend checking out this place for some good Thai food, or at least stopping by for a quick lunch.
