    Peach oolong pure tea
    Bianka G.

I'm not really a tea person but wanted to try them out as I heard the wait times were crazy long. I kept it simple and ordered the Peach oolong pure tea [hot] - it was fruity and good roasted oolong taste. I didn't try any of their milk teas which seem to be more of their signature drinks. The quality is there and if you happen to be shopping here at the mall and the wait isn't too bad, give them a try.

I've been to CHAGEE Modern Tea House a few times & have always been happy with my experience. Y'all that waited in several hour lines when it opened are wild! I could never! However now that the shop has been open nearly a year, the lines are manageable. It's literally taken this long for the hype to die down a bit! CHAGEE is great and all of Los Angeles was trying to get their drinks for awhile there. There are still lines but they move fast from what I could see. Ya girl is bougie and I don't do lines so I'm all up on the online ordering. It makes coming to the Tea House super easy and fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating so whatever your heart desires, you can sit in that area. They only have two umbrellas outside though so be sure to put on your sunscreen. I've done the pure black tea and their tea lattes - enjoyed them all! With CHAGEE being right at Century City Mall, I know I'll be back to try more. I really want to try frappes and baked good still!

Overall, pleasantly surprised. I paid $14 for two drinks. The staff were nice and I'd come back. I liked the chagee specific straws. Also, the place itself has seating and is very pretty. Roasted oolong tea latte: Strong tea flavor with a slight bitterness, but in a good way. It's not overpowering and not too sweet. Peach oolong tea latte: Slight artificial peach taste with a mildly bitter aftertaste. I liked it, but my friend not so much. I enjoyed the simplicity of the drinks. I wanna say it might not be for everyone? Honestly, give it a try. Their drink aren't anything crazy, so I can't see anyone disliking it to the extreme.

    Chagee day dream

A beautiful modern tea establishment that opened up in Century city mall! Stopped by here because my friends who were visiting really wanted to try it. I'm mainly a coffee drinker but do enjoy teas every once in awhile. Ordering is pretty straightforward. As a side note, I asked just out of curiosity, but all teas are caffeinated just in case you were looking for non-caffeinated drinks. My husband had ordered the chagee day dream which was a slush topped with whipped cream and possibly caramel? After taking a few sips, it's definitely on the sweeter side. I didn't see any descriptions on what was in the drink but it did taste like a roasted black tea. Despite the sweetness, it still had a distinct tea flavor that wasn't over powered by all the other ingredients. I ordered the peach oolong tea latte which was very tasty. Mildly sweet and subtle peach flavor. I saw that you can adjust the sweet levels which is what I probably do for the next time. Overall, a solid tea spot! Would definitely return again!

OMG amazing and delicious! Tastes like authentic tea and reminds me of tea houses out in SGV. The steamed, fresh milk is great! The service and ambiance are nice. We couldn't stop talking about the tea flavor after!

I didn't realize until I got there that they don't offer any non-caffeinated drinks. Since I don't drink caffeine, there weren't really many options for me. We ended up ordering a tea my son can drink and the flavor was quite strong, but still enjoyable overall. The interior is very luxurious and beautifully designed, and the place was pretty busy when we visited. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Since my partner and I were visiting the Westfield Century City mall, we decided to stop by Chagee for some drinks. We were very interested, especially after seeing how packed the place was all the time. It actually didn't take too long to get through the line to order, but it took quite some time for our drinks to be ready. I tried both the Jasmine Green Boya Tea Latte (their bestseller - a delicate floral aroma and smooth, silky finish) and Peach Oolong Tea Latte (refreshing and aromatic fusion of floral oolong and white peach). While the drinks were not bad, they didn't taste like anything special either. Something I wish I knew sooner is that Chagee has their own app. If you download it and sign up for a rewards account, you can get a coupon. However, it apparently takes at least a day for the coupon to show up, so you wouldn't be able to use it right away. You could also use the app to place pickup orders and avoid the line.

There is so much hype around Chagee. My milk tea tasted watered down. Is it because they gave me the smallest straw on earth? Or because they use real tea and not powder? Regardless, it was expensive for a drink. I don't want to come back, especially not if I have to pay for parking here.

    Below average drinks.

I've tried Molly Tea, Chahalo, Ben Gong Tea, and Chagee now. The boya jasmine tea is insanely below all of their competitors and it's not even close sadly. The teas at the other places easily have more jasmine flavor while chagee tastes watery. Every time I come here expecting something different and it literally gets worse. The only decent thing is the frappe looking drink cause it actually has flavor. It looks like diabetes though. Overall I wouldn't recommend or reconsider coming back here at all. If I had to rate chagee in the jasmine tea war, I'd probably give it 1/10. Not even joking how bad it is.

I don't know what happened but the quality of Chagee has gone so downhill. The first time I ever got the Boya Tea Latte was during the grand opening, and it was life-changing. Then, I got it a week later and it was still good but not great, but I chalked that up to the crazy rush of people who were trying it and how overworked the staff was. However, I got the Boya Tea Latte again today in March 2026, and it just tastes both powdery and watery. There's no real blend of flavors or sweetness or harmony in the tea. It all just kind of fell flat and doesn't taste like the high quality tea I know it's supposed to be, especially at around $7 a cup. I'm not sure if somethings changed but I'm less than impressed.

Located on second floor of the outer parts of the mall, above Javiers. These cups and bags are just so fancy and nice looking. Now to the drinks itself. I got the peach oolong lemon tea and WOW that was soo good and refreshing, a little on the sweeter side but it works due to the lemon and lime inside of it. You can taste the tea and peach flavor. Just such a nice little treat. I also was able to try the peach oolong latte with oat milk. Subtle but I would much rather have the lemon tea. We did the mobile app, so we just went in and our order was ready Plenty of seating inside and outside.

Visited Chagee with my partner as we were both interested in the hype of Chagee Tea. Some PROs is that the shop itself is very clean, floral vibe, and more like a tea lounge more than anything. Very modern like their store name. Since it was our first time, we signed up for the 15% off code stated. However, the cashier stated that we couldn't use it since - quote; "The code takes awhile to show up since you just signed up." Due to this, we just ordered as usual. Pretty disappointing that we were unable to use it even though it's advertised by the ordering spot. We got the Boya Tea Latte (Jasmine Green) and Peach Oolong Tea Latte as these two drinks caught our eye. Wait times was around 15 - 20 minutes as the store was pretty busy overall. The drinks overall were average at best. The peach oolong tasted a bit watery and the peach wasn't really noticeable in the drink. The Boya Tea Latte is decent but nothing over the top. I do appreciate the unique cup designs as they're pretty unique. The cups itself is sturdy and non spillable which is great. Overall, due to the horrendous parking at Century City and a average first time experience, I find it hard to come back just for Chagee. However, I'm pretty interested in some of the other drink options. I would recommend if you've never tried Chagee.

Best bougie tea shop in town. They know what they are doing with their teas. Limited black green and oolong teas served hot or cold options with ice and sweet levels. For snacks they had li'l jasmine almond and peach oolong financiers. I asked the guy at the counter which taste better jasmine or peach oolong so he instantly said Jasmine is more famous and mostly ordered green milk tea. Your name is said out loud once your tea is made and also your name goes on the pick up order screen. Drinks are made quickly and doesn't take them a lot of time. Love the tea mural on the wall and the whole tea making process from Boiling ,Simmering ,Whisking ,Brewing ,Extracting. Was a cold day so sat inside with wooden tea house interior look and enjoyed crowd watching with my Jasmine milk tea Latte which was not too overly sweet and creamy.

There is also some street parking available, though it can be a bit difficult to find an open spot. Service at this location is okay, sometimes good and friendly and other times not so much. It doesn't bother me too much since I don't interact with them very often though. I usually order online and pick up at the counter, which I find much more convenient. Recently, I believe they extended the delivery area on the map to LA, but I haven't gotten the chance to try that out yet. They often run offers and promotions on their app, so I definitely recommend ordering online. You can also add a sticker to your cup when ordering online (if you draw your own it takes about a day to get it approved)! The interior is pretty small, so more of a grab-n-go, and it has a nice modern, clean aesthetic. The drinks are consistently pretty great! My go‑to orders are the Mango Coconut Boom and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Super refreshing and fruity and the grapefruit adds a little tart, sour kick to the mango. I also really like the Triple Supreme Matcha and I recently tried the new seasonal King Jasmine Guava, and it wasn't bad at all too (the stickers are also super cute). Overall, really happy that this location opened, and the drinks are super good and keep me coming back.

The breeze knows this and thus its best to control itself because it knows its place in relation to this girl. If you make the decision, I recommend going on a day where you can absorb the classy and elegant (that slightly borders on stiff traditionally) vibe because no one deserves to have a troubled mind when enjoying luxurious tea. It is like a big sports guy, going to the Super Bowl, when back home they have a leaky faucet that is near full rupture but he cannot do anything until Monday. How is he suppose to enjoy viewing a fumble or bouncing cheerleaders or a roaring crowd with costumed fans, if there is a drip drip of worry in his mind that he cannot wrench into closing. I guess, this space is like a zen garden, where one goes to be present, not just to checkmark a daily meal. I say all that because I was silent for long moments, and I apologized to Ronnie for not engaging in conversation. And she said, "I understand, you are taking it all in." So this place is also a gallery of fancy, where one experiences tea in the cushions of Beverly Hills rarefied air. When I was there, I saw a large group of girls attending a baby shower. To me, it was a like small movie scene. All of them were gathered in a group, like lilies in a special patch, looking all pretty in nice dresses, long flowing hair, and were all smiles and refined in movement, taste and persona. I wondered why they were talking about? Ronnie anchored me back to reality and said, they are probably just catching up, just like us. She makes a good point--- a baby shower in a fancy tea room, is no different than a baby shower held in a back yard. Every one is there to give well-wishes and gifts, eat good food, and chat. There are obvious ways in which these two experiences are different but at their core they were the same: a group of people gathering to celebrate a coming child. One place just does it with white linens ironed to precious quality, while the other is limited to folded tables set up carefully so they don't break. I share this so that the reader knows that this place is so fancy, that I felt like I did not just have tea, I more felt like I was in a place that redefined fancy for me, and that in itself, is worth more than the 150.00 dollars I paid to sip rose tea. But still I would not do it again, because to sip rose tea and be pampered like a princess cost me 150.00 dollars. To translate this into a Yelp message: Go as a once in a life time experience to understand how the 1 percent enjoys their tea, and hopefully that adds to all that shapes your perspective of the world. I want to truly stress, that this slow moving experience, in a wondrous way, redefined what fancy is because I never saw fancy be effortless lazy yet still be extravagant and gorgeous. I was a guy there. There was another guy there, enjoying tea alone. But everyone else read female. So this place is women centered because who is taught to have tea parties at a young age? I mean there is no tea party with cups that show the Hulk and Iron man. So this is. a girlie fantasy. Look at my pictures, even though there are few one can see pink ribbons, floral patterns, precious and dainty flowers, and fashion carried by hats. I went because I am comfortable stepping outside gender roles but not everyone is. So, I guess, I am saying that afternoon tea, all adorn with teas, is mostly for girls, shocking I know. The food was superb. I remember the chicken salad sandwich fondly. I remember the strawberries and cream. I remember being handed a warm towel to wipe my hands clean. I remember lounging, but again, this is more of an experience. Like I can have high tea again, but not like this because it is too precious to revisit on rewind. I rather have this be a bubble that strolls down Rodeo and Sunset than it be popped by another visit. I remember all of it as a kind of dream, which makes it more precious. There was also a harp player. But I am not going to say I was in heaven, that reach is too easy. Plus, I did not feel like I was in heaven, even though I sat in a cloud. I noticed to much, and thought to much about my surroundings. I was not at peace. I was in rest. The difference being is that peace comes with out thought, and rest can come with an analysis. Think I am wrong? Then imagine a genius doing Sodukus for fun---- he is not in peace because he is being challenged, but he is in rest because she can find quiet pleasure in finishing the mental challenge in record time. I realize that I took a long way to say the following: the place is gorgeous, the food is sensational, the graces both big and small, mix into a pleasurable experience that makes one say, that was certainly fancy to the sky!
