Restaurant inside Embassy suites. Nice, full bar with happy hour nightly. The snacks during happy hour could use some improvement. The popcorn was fresh and yummy! Good drink selection at the bar, attentive bar tenders. The bar had gnats though and that's annoying. The food was freshly prepared, I enjoyed the kale Caesar so much I ordered it twice! read more

Food is no good! Burger and steak burned to a crisp couldn't even eat it. Service was slow. I wouldnt feed this to my dog.

Great tasting food that I would give a 4-5 star rating. Truly, this restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall...they treat and serve your food like it is a coffee shop. The food is practically served in the lobby/lounge area with menus on the tables. But boy oh boy, the chef is amazing...top notch! The food is served great! There was so many tasty looking items, I wish I could try many of them. The service was good too! I highly recommend! read more

We ate at this restaurant because it is right in the hotel we are staying at. We should have driven elsewhere. There are unfortunate series of events that made this such a bad place. Mind you, the place was not crowded. The waitress asked for drink order. As soon as my boyfriend said his drink order she walked away! What am I chop liver? I went to get my drink at the bar. After 20 minutes I flagged her down so we can place our dinner order. After another 30 minutes, the dinner finally came. My medium burger was burnt. My boyfriend placed his second drink. After 10 minutes still no drink. All of the employees were standing together on their other side of the restaurant so I asked the bartender who was talking with the waitress "did you get our drink orders?" The bartender said he didn't know we ordered drinks. The waitress said "oh I didn't know you ordered drink. I think you only wanted to know what kind of drink" I told her, my boyfriend said "I will have another one of this". This is our second time here and service was bad both times. We are not staying at this Embassy Suite anytime soon. read more

Came with the family to eat here today and we really enjoyed the food ( falafel Salad, wings , steak and salmon) Everyone loved what they got. Service was great as well.. drinks were refilled quickly and staff was really nice. We will be coming back soon to try some more items. Thank you for a great time. read more

excellent, flat iron steak, tender and favorable and tasty Demi sauce . Mashed potatoes were flavorful and roasted vegetables. hubby had the chicken wings, really enjoyed them, ate them all. if I get hungry and I'm not staying at that hotel, I'd definitely go there for dinner. read more

While sitting at the restaurant, I watched the chef open to packages of meat and handle it with his bare hands. He then proceeded to touch every surface in the kitchen with those hands that handle the raw meat. He touched all the condiments for the burgers. And then he would just wipe his hands on his apron. He contaminated everything and I will never eat here. Absolutely unsanitary and disgusting practices going on in the kitchen. read more

The food is good and well portioned, however the service is quite slow. Expect to wait a while for your food, even if you call ahead. My favorites are the grilled veggies and Asian Chicken Salad. read more

Service was lacking. If I hadn't made myself known to someone working in the restaurant, they would have never checked on me where I was seated. I ordered my meal and dessert because I was preparing myself for slow service. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come by and take my order. It took over 30 minutes to receive the Chaffey's Burger and side salad. I ate it in 15 minutes. It wasn't worth $15. Chili's has better burgers than that. The dessert came 20 minutes later, Chocolate Lava Cake, $9. It was okay, Chili's is still better. Chili's is not my go-to, but compared to this place I would rather go there. Tired from my plane ride, I decided to dining here because of convenience. I could have had a better feast elsewhere. $30 not well-spent. read more

Got the prime rib sandwich... I like salty foods, however, for this sandwich, i felt like i was only eating salt... I could not finish my sandwich. I also ordered the Calamari, it was soggy and limp. After we complained, they redid the calamari order. It was a little better since they finally paid attention to it... Overall, i would not eat here again if i had the choice. P.S. Wait staff was friendly and tried to offer me free dessert. Since they did not have lactose free items, i passed on dessert. read more

Their hours are whenever they feel like it, not what's actually posted. And don't think making a reservation will help you, because if they feel like closing early, your reservation simply won't be honored. You will, however, get plenty of attitude, which is great if you're into that Ed Debevic's-esque charm. That said, if you get lucky and are actually served, the food's pretty good. read more

Well... It was a Thursday night...so it wasn't very busy. There were 2 hostess in the restaurant and when we got in only 2 patrons at different tables. We got a seat no problem. We ordered no problem. We waited...and waited...15 minutes went by and we still didn't get our salads. Half an hour went by and we finally got our salads....and my filet mignon. My filet was lukewarm, my baked potatoes..not even luke warm. It appears that the waiter may have fallen asleep or went on break without notifying us or the other staff to look after us...when he came to, he brought us the cold food...not impressed. read more

Eduardo the bartender is the absolute best. We were there for a conference and it was BUSY. He handled the bar alone, was quick, efficient, handling drinks and food orders and always smiling and keeping people happy . He held the whole place together despite obvious understaffing of the restaurant and hotel. He needs a raise! read more

The food was average, the service was less than average. Went there with a Groupon Coupon, will not return. My daughter's rib eye sandwich tasted like it had liver in it and bread was tough. Chef Martin has redone the menu and it is phenomenal. The blackened halibut is absolutely delicious. The New York Strip is to die for. They have great appetizers too. The baked avocado has some amazing sauces on it you have to try. The desserts too! read more

Food was good and service was little slow for lunch time. Had the salmon and chipotle slaw. It tasted good but had a little hotel food quality to it. Soup wasn't real warm and prices were about normal for that type of meal. Not great but good. read more

Planned on going to dinner with a friend, forgot it was Valentines Day. Looked through available places and ran across this one. Granted, the ambiance might not be what you would be looking for in a formal dining setting, but if what you are looking for is great food, good prices, and great service, then Chaffey's is the go-to place. I found Chaffey's through Groupon a few years ago and have been back about a dozen times since then for both lunches and dinners, usually with at least 3 people in our party. Never have any of us been disappointed. All of us have ordered a variety of items from pasta to beef to fish and never a disappointment. I see from other reviewers complaints about the service but honestly, we've never had bad or slow service. I'm always surprised because every time I've been there, there are only a few people in the restaurant (which I like - it's quiet!) but I don't know why more people don't go here. We just came back from dinner (5pm on a Saturday) and ate so much none of us had room for dessert which is sad because their desserts are fabulous. read more

The service was awful. There was nobody anywhere in sight to seat you. We stood around for awhile before a young lady appeared. When we finally ordered the food took a very long time to arrive to our table. We were the only two people in the whole place! When our food finally arrived my filet mignon was sooo rare I couldn't eat it. I sent it back which allowed my husband to finish his dinner while I waited for mine to come back, which again took a very long time. Would i go back.. No way! read more
