Our tree was very close to the power lines and house (See pic for reference). They were able to efficiently and safely removed the tree. Amazing! I used the Yelp's "get quotes" service and 8 tree providers contacted me. Chad's service tree company has the best price and most of all...licensed professionals. This is a dangerous job so make sure hire professionals like them. They even cleaned the debris. Thank you for your great work. We highly recommend them! read more

Chads Chippers - Before and After Photo - Tree Services Near Me - Lancaster, California

I must be honest, when I see a stream of great Yelp reviews on one company's page, I'm usually skeptical. I've come across some businesses that were not even close to the performance of their said reviews. NOT THIS PLACE! I'm very glad I gave Chad's Chippers a chance. I had this tree in the front yard that was starting to eat up the pipes and a nasty tamarisk bush that intertwined with the rose bush. I figured it would take too long for me to do it myself, but at the same time, I was fearing of hiring someone because I didn't know how much it would cost to get this done. I called, left a message, I got a call within a day to set up time for estimate, and I liked the price Dan offered me, so I hired them. I had one question prior to the work day, so I called, and I got the answer the next day. One thing I am very pleased (other than the actual work performance), is that they sound very kind over the phone and in person. I get anxiety from just thinking about making a phone call, so the fact that they are genuinely nice, helps a lot. I was anticipating like half day of work (since I don't know how long each job would take), but on the actual work day, they were in and out in about less than 2 hrs in the morning. I thought that was very efficient. They got the roots pulled out, everything was evened out, to a point that I don't even know where the tree used to be! Not that I have tons of trees at my place anymore, but if you're like me and reading this review to "shop around", give them a call. I recommend them, very highly. read more

Showed up on time and carried out the job and cleaned up way above expatiation. Reasonable price. Highly recommend. read more

They never answered the phone after I called several times so I left a message and Daniel finally called a day later. I wanted a quote to remove a tree and asked him when someone can come to my house to look at the tree, so Daniel asked me to send him some pictures of the tree, I thought that was kind of weird or dishonest cause I wanted an accurate or real quote or estimate. I decided to send him some pictures if that's the way they do things?...and he gives me a price after looking at the pictures I took and texted him with my phone so I call him back a couple of days later to give him the job only to find out that it would take a week for him to come out to the property and look at the tree to confirm the price which is what I wanted him to do in the first place instead of texting him pictures of it. Anyway I scheduled an appointment for him to come look at the tree on my property only to find out that the price has now doubled??? Unreal.. What a joke, complete waste of time. Dishonest business if you ask me. Update about an hour after writing my review :- Since Daniel is lying I'll have to update my review, none of that stuff happened with the weather, and he's obviously trying to discredit my review. Doesn't surprise me at all, besides I would never hire you Or NON-expert tree for doing the same thing (true stories both companies did the same thing) no matter how much of a discount you give after increasing the price like that for no reason bunch of BS. Dishonest business and practices! Oh and for your information read the review again I never sent Chuck from Expert Tree any pictures! That's a lie. read more

Had a tree on our side yard that needed trimming. Texted the owner and got a quote. Checked around other places and the quote was fair. Scheduled a time and date with ease. Day of the job they showed up early (could be a negative if you're like me and wasn't expecting them for another 30 minutes and I was asleep!) but no big deal. Spoke with Kevin who was very friendly, easy going and worked with me regarding my pets and the challenges the layout of my yard was for him and his crew. I got out of the way and let them get to work and within 2 hours tops - job was done! They're very professional, cleaned up great, made sure I was happy before they all left the site, and easy to talk to. If they're still in business they're still on my list of must contacts for this kind of work. Thanks again Kevin and crew! read more

So happy I contacted Chads Chippers. I spoke to many different tree companies and this one was heads above all. From first contact and easy clear communication and transparency about price/scope and absolutely no pressure. I wish all companies used this business model. The whole crew was polite and knowledgeable and I can tell they treat their employees very well. My neighbor even asked about them as he had a project and I hope that works out too as I would recommend them to anyone needing tree removal. Thanks so much! read more

Would totally hire these guys again. We requested a quote through yelp and they came by and gave us a very fair price in cutting down a number of tress and grinding out two stumps. While they were here they were quick, and left our yard cleaner than how they found it! The team that was on site was professional and clear in their communication. The only constructive piece of feedback I have is that they should level up on the office / back-end side. It would have been nice to get a confirmation the day before and a few more details, maybe even an email to confirm service or something similar. We had to call to confirm and get the details. A good CRM or some more admin staff could fix that easily. read more

Awesome!!! These guys are great. I sent a request on yelp for a quote and a photo. Daniel from Chads chipper Tree service messaged me with a quote right away. He gave me a great price and scheduled me a day. They came out did the job and left. The price he quoted me didn't change. Daniel kept his word and was on time. No waiting around all day for them. I'm very happy with the work they did you will be too!!! Give them a call hurry don't bother calling anyone else you'll be glad you did. Thanks Daniel you and your crew did a great job. read more

Great guys! Best service I have seen in the AV in years! Daniel showed up on time, gave us a great price and the team of guys did a fabulous job on our trees. We had 2 large Ash Tress and a Mulberry tree done! They exceeded our expectations (and I am a picky one) They all worked hard, considered our personal items around the trees, and cleaned everything up. We couldn't be happier! read more

We just had our 2 huge trees trimmed, 1 small dead tree removed, and an overgrown bush taken out. Kevin was the foreman in charge, very nice guy, he took his time to educated us a little on trees and how to keep them from getting too massive. During each step of the process they paid close attention to safety, cleaned up our neighbors yard behind us, beautified our trees so that air and sun can come through them better which in turn will help our yard and planters grow nicely now. Every worker was very nice (I offered them bottled water because it was a really hot day. Their clean up process was absolutely fabulous, could hardly tell they were in our backyard. Excellent job! I would recommend them to everybody. Thanks a bunch for the job you read more

After asking three other places for an estimate, Dan was the first to response and continued the communication with the messages. Our tree fell over, and he was able to come and provide an estimate immediately. The tree was a very large pine tree. Him and his crew were able to get it all done in a day-and we have firewood to last us many winters! Great guy to talk with-he shared with us things to look for on our other trees. . . Friendly and honest. We will continue to go through him for our future tree and bush needs. read more

These guys are amazing. Easy fast appointment/ quote. They clean up after themselves, even cut the sections into fire wood length. Neatly stacked up the wood (without me asking). Amazing work gentlemen. Very friendly and easy to talk to. The whole team was amazing. EVERYONE IN THE AV...... HIRE THESE GUYS!!! You will not regret it 100%. Definitely the most AFFORDABLE tree service in town. read more

Kudos to Chad's Chippers. Daniel came right on time, checked everything out, quoted me a fair price and even offered several suggestions. Then Matt and his crew, also right on time, came to trim our trees. They worked together like a finely tuned Swiss clock, and did a fantastic job. After the trees were trimmed, this well organized team stayed until everything was picked up. They even skimmed the pool for fallen leaves and branches. Excellent customer service, hard working and affordable. We would definitely use this Company again. read more

I saw the business' logo on a company truck the other week during Lancaster's annual Bark at the Park event. I figured if the owners were dog lovers, I could probably trust them to be halfway decent people, and so I called them up the next day. A day after the call, they came out and gave me a very fair estimate. I needed my front mulberry tree trimmed, lifted, and thinned out. My backyard pine tree is huge and and had a few large broken branches that looked super ugly. JUST for the pine tree, the other tree trimmer service I had do an estimate was $350. NO THANKS. I also had about 6 small trees that needed to be removed and some dead shrubs on my side yard that needed to be chopped and removed. For everything, I paid $600, and I came home to a home with beautifully trimmed trees, dead trees gone, NO scraps left around, and they even chopped the trunks and large branches and piled them so I could use them as logs for my backyard firepit, as requested! The rest of the debris was put through the chipper and taken away. I KNOW how to trim trees and shrubs, but using a hacksaw or chain saw is time consuming and my green waste bin gets filled quickly so it takes forever to get the waste removed from my yard. Very professional and friendly, and I will definitely be recommending to others and family, as well as calling in the future. read more

Called them today about an estimate to fell a tree by my house. Within an hour they on site and gave me a fair price to bring down to trees that were leaning over home. Asked to see verification of their insurance and license and they showed me without a problem. They were back at my house within an hour and about 4 hours had brought down both trees, cut them and cleaned up. Will absolutely use them in the future for my tree needs and recommend them to others. read more

I called Dan for an estimate to prune one tree, take down another one and haul off the wood from both. He was at my door an hour later with a good price and back taking down the tree a couple hours after that. He and his crew were quick and efficient and just what I was hoping for. The branches were chipped down immediately, the trunk was ground out and the wood hauled off within an hour. I was very impressed! Thank you! read more

Chads Chippers did an excellent job removing trees, trimming trees, chipping branches, and even cleaning up some branches from a tree encroaching from the neighbor's property! What a pleasure it is to work with professionals we get a free estimate and then set it up for a few days later they showed up on time with the complete team and finish the entire job which was three trees in under an hour and a half. I called chads chippers and left a message after so many people recommended them, unfortunately I didn't get a call back same day but no big deal as I'm sure they're extremely busy, but lucky for me they were doing a job right across the street from my home. My husband asked if they could do a quick quote whenever they had time, and the guy so nice and came over right away. Quoted us a very great rate and were able to fit us in the same day! They did an amazing job (even though it was a last minute job, usually when any company has done a last minute job for me they do it rushed and poorly done, but not chads chippers) I will be calling again to get a quote for a couple more things I need done. Just be patient, they're busy guys and great prices, they won't disappoint. read more

Extremely satisfied with the work these guys did and the professionalism displayed while doing their job. I had a few quotes prior to talking with Chads but they were by far the cheapest. Usually when I go with the cheapest bid I expect to not be completely satisfied with the work done. There is usually the unfortunate discovery of why their bid was so low, but not in this case. My trees looked amazing when they finished! And afterwards took the time to give me some free advice on how to keep my trees looking healthy. I will never use another company for tree service as long as I stay in the AV. read more

Got in touch with this company via Thumbtack. A guesstimate was provided and they sent out someone same day to give actual pricing. When they arrived, they quoted an extremely awesome ( super affordable ) price to remove this really hideous dead tree I had. Not only that but they offered to cut it down into firewood. I am impressed with their service. read more

Daniel had the fairest quote for the work to be done: Removal of a palm tree by the pool. He was even able to trim and shape a couple of large trees in front of my home for a very reasonable cost. Great Price and Professional Service. We had a large pine tree removed from our front yard with stump grinding and couldn't have been happier with the services provided by Chad's Chippers. They were even courteous and thoughtful with regards to our personal property in order to not damage any of our outdoor ground level lights, by removing the glass components and laying the frame of the lights on their side so that the heavy tree branches wouldn't damage them as they fell to the floor. They removed the tree and ground the stump in a matter of hours and cleaned up after themselves wonderfully. As requested, they left us the firewood and even returned a day later to retrieve it when I had a change of heart regarding keeping the wood. We will be using them again when we decide to remove similar trees in our back yard. Thank you for a job well done. read more

Love the fast and friendly service these guys provide! Highly recommend this company for trimming trees or delivering mulch.

I requested a free estimate and was given a date and window of time for someone to come out. When the window of time passed without anyone showing up, I called them back and they apologized profusely and scheduled an estimate for the next day. The estimator was very polite, professional, and apologized profusely for mixing up the original date. He then promised me that "Whenever we mix up our dates, we always make it up to you". And he really DID! I received an excellent price to remove a large pine tree and to trim 3 other large trees. The crew was at my front door at exactly the correct time on the correct date, and they were extremely polite and professional. They did all the work perfectly, and when I asked them to cut a couple of additional branches, they did it willingly and with no arguments. After they were finished cutting and trimming, they cleaned up every branch, every pine cone, and basically every leaf from the ground. My yard looks beautiful and I would highly recommend Chad's Chippers Tree Service! Thank you!!! read more

I am completely delighted with every aspect of my experience with Chad's Chippers. Daniel responded immediately to my Yelp-inquiry, and promptly came to my property to look at the work to be done. The quoted price was quite reasonable for the work to be done: cut down and fully remove an elm tree (stump and all), prune back two pine trees, prune back a tall pepper tree, and significantly cut back two very large bushes so that I can, in the future, reach all parts with the hedge clippers. They arrived promptly - and early - on the agreed-upon date. The team was done in less than three hours, and that included the chipping of all the wood and all the haul-away. I recommend Chad's Chippers very highly. I will certainly call on them again for my tree maintenance needs. read more

I normally just rely on yelp comments to get a feeling for a company but today I feel the desire to sign up and post a review for this company. I had received an estimate from one of the larger local companies that was highly recommended by a neighbor and had called a second company on two separate occasions to get another estimate. The second company never returned my first call and never showed for the estimate they arraigned on the second call. I was about to go with the only estimate I got but my wife, always the wiser, urged me to get a second option. I drove by a sign posted on the road and gave Chad's a call. They returned my call within an hour and was willing to give me an estimate right away, scheduling it for the next morning to fit my needs. Dan came within the scheduled window and gave some advice as I showed him the numerous trees I needed cut back. The price quoted fit my budget a lot better than the big company, which I was considering only doing half of the job now, half later in the summer. Chad's had a cancellation that day and were able to get to my home about 2 hours later. The workers were courteous to my toddler son and even my dogs once they escaped. The team lead even gave me advice on my evergreens, which are showing some signs of disease, to keep them alive and get them healthy again. I overheard how they look out after each other on the team, specifically on hydration. A team that actually cares for what they do and for who they work with really rates high in my book. The crew had all the equipment necessary to trim the taller tree out front and conduct a clean-up, the yard looks like they were never here. They even kept some low branches on my daughter's climbing tree, as requested, as well as saving numerous bird nests in the trees. This was my first time with a professional tree trimming service and I have to say that the benchmark Chad's Chippers set is rather high. A very affordable solution that I can look upon my yard and not regret. I will certainly be telling my neighbors of my satisfaction, as well as putting it up here on the internet for anyone else to see. read more
