On August 28th my 17 year daughter had a consultation with stylist Sena to go over an appointment…read morefor a full color of vibrant green. She showed her a picture for an example and she agreed she could do it and the amount of $360 for the appointment. On September 2nd she had her hair appointment and the results were no where near her expectation. She sat in the chair for 5 hours and when she was finished Sena told her "Well you got semi cool hair". My daughter left in tears and stated to me she "never felt uglier". (Fortunately she had a friend fix it for her that night). I called the salon and talked to the manager Morgan asking for a full refund and she would not return to the salon for a correction as it already was redone by her teenage friend with the exact results she wanted. I was also told my child, who is a minor, was asked and signed a waiver for no liability of damage. Parental consent should have been given per Oregon Law. Morgan said that my daughter told her she was 18, (my daughter said she never discussed her age) nor was she asked for ID. I have asked Morgan for the immediate copy of the waiver and still haven't received it. After multiple email, and phones calls, asking to speak to the owner, communication ceased. I went to the salon today and asked to speak to the manager, owner, and stylist Sena. Morgan came to the front desk and I again asked her if I could talk to Sena and the owner, in which she told me the "owner lived out of state and doesn't answer phone calls because she trusts her to run the salon". I asked for a copy of the waiver and she refused and said my daughter needed to come in herself because she was the client. I replied that wouldn't be happening and as her parent I was representing her. Morgan then became aggressive after I told her that I had no choice but to write a bad review and post on social media so this doesn't happen to another client, much less another teen. I also told her I would be filing with Small Claims court to recoup loss of money. At that point Morgan loudly asked me to leave the salon, in which I did without incident. I am yet to talk to the stylist Sena, or owner, Renae Tichenor nor do I have anyway to do so because the email goes directly to Morgan. Not once did Morgan offer an apology or any sympathy. I suggest if you find interest in this salon to go elsewhere. We are highly dissatisfied and my child was left emotionally distraught. Casey was so incredibly helpful. She'd just come in from her lunch when the receptionist asked for expertise. Casey showed me a few options and explained some of the benefits, and I also purchased some shampoo and conditioner. I haven't used R+Co before, but I like it. There's plenty of parking here. The salon is small and seemed calm and quiet. If I lived in Eugene I'd make an appointment here.

I specifically asked for someone who could French braid it because I can't redo it for a few days. Karen did a good job of shampooing save that she sprayed water all down my back. She apologized fir being out of practice when I asked her to French braid my hair. She did not know how to brush long hair: she brushed top down and yanked a lot out by tangling it more. I was tired and didn't want to stay any longer. Karen did not French braid my hair, she just braided it in the back. Furthermore, she parted my hair crooked in a wavy line from front to back. When my friend looked at it, she showed me how crooked it was. It's embarrassing. The only saving grace was that she only charged $10 for it and was cheerful. Don't go here if you have long hair!!!

I have thick hair, and no one else could ever get the color right, but Beth nailed it from the start. She takes her time, pays attention to every detail, and always keeps my hair healthy and beautiful. Every appointment with her feels like a mini retreat, relaxing, uplifting, and genuinely fun. She is such a joy to talk to and an amazing listener, and I end up laughing through my whole appointment. I leave feeling refreshed, light, and ten years younger. If you want to feel and look great, I can't recommend her enough... but don't you dare take my Thursday appointment.

I've been going here for almost 6 years now and no words can describe how wonderful it is! There's something about the place that's very special - and it truly is the workers. The facility is clean, ventilated pretty well, and cozy! Onto raving about Renee - I can guarantee you that you will not find a more kind hearted, detail oriented, down to earth and attentive hair dresser in Eugene. There was a lot done to my hair. Kelsey deep conditioned, cut, dyed, thinned out, and curled my hair. I'm definitely happy with the end result. I'll be back to her for more of my hair needs. The studio is decorated to perfection. If I had my own studio I'd decorate it the exact same way.
