I was in town to run the Iron Horse Half Marathon that weekend and wanted a solid meal after the flight. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which came with basmati rice, and after a few moments of thought, added the garlic naan. For the price, both the quality and quantity of the food were excellent. The chicken tikka masala was really flavorful, buttery, and delicious. I asked for the highest spice level, and while it wasn't overwhelmingly spicy, it had a good amount of heat. Paired with the garlic naan, it was sublime. I hadn't eaten breakfast that day, and the meal filled me up enough that I didn't even end up having dinner. The guy there was also nice enough to throw in a mango lassi after I promised to do him a favor. The lassi wasn't my favorite, but I still appreciated the gesture. One other thing I really liked was the serving ware. They seemed to use bamboo, wood, or similar materials for most things rather than a bunch of disposable plastic. As someone who tries to limit unnecessary plastic use, I appreciated that. Aside from the bottled water, it felt like they put some thought into both the food and the customer experience. All in all, a great Indian spot with tasty food, generous portions, and friendly service. I'd definitely come back if I'm in Maple Valley or the Seattle area again. 4/5 stars Last visited: August 28, 2026

I want to try the mango coconut curry when we next visit, but before I've had the railway mutton curry, chili baby corn, and lamb seekh kebab. My family doesn't go here often enough to get every server, but when we have we've always had a polite waiter. The Indian music contributes to a wholesome ambiance, and overall I recommend going!

But 1 of them ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE A WAITER OR SERVICE PERSON. He never looked us in the eye - ever. He threw the plates and take out boxes at us. If we never come back, he will be the reason. He needs a different job. Not built for this. He seemed VERY VERY UNHAPPY. EDIT: I see some previous reviews talking about poor service. People can disagree on food quality, but poor service is universal. You need to fix this or go out of business. Put a smile on your face, be polite, act interested in the job and your customers. Or suffer the consequences of losing business due to poor service reviews. Just think how much more business you'd get IF you served your customers correctly. RECOMMEND: Aahaar. Always polite. Always seem happy. Don't eat an average or even great meal at India Belly with rude staff if you can drive a few miles to Aahaar and get greeted with smiles and politeness the whole meal.

We were very excited to learn that they moved to Auburn as Manraj kitchen!! we don't mind the additional 10 minute drive to get the best Indian food we've ever eaten. The Auburn location seems bigger than the Kent location. It's very clean and bright. They serve superb food as usual, and the menu looks the same as the Kent location.. They are opening a small convenience store on the left side of the restaurant as you walk in. This seems like a great idea for the neighborhood. The owner (Ranjit Kaur) is a delight to talk to. Service was good. Prompt seating. Got the appetizer platter served with the tangy tamarind date chutney and spicy green (cilantro mint) sauce. The fritters, samosa and the kebabs were great. Loved the Punjabi samosa! The Peshawari Naan was just as I expected, sweet and perfectly warm. The Mixed Grill could have been better with a Tandoori sauce on the side. It was served with complimentary rice but there was no liquid to supplement the rice and the meat. Could have been marinated a bit longer. The variety of chicken, seafood, kebabs was great but was kind of dry and hard to eat. Something that the owner can certainly look at and improve. I would certainly love the try their other curries. Wouldn't hesitate to give them a try again and refresh my review. Note: They have a small convenience store inside the restaurant. This used to be Happy Express and am glad to see an Indian restaurant in its place.

Let me start with saying I am from Delhi and dal tadka is a staple in our cuisine. This did not disappoint! It was such a yummy hearty meal, the daal was filled with flavor and aroma. Jeera rice was also very good and the salad on the side was just the cherry on top! They also gave us compliments kheer which was so sweet of them and very tasty. The lack of communication and attentiveness made the experience frustrating. When my Chicken Tandoori finally arrived, it appeared rushed and seemed undercooked in the middle, which was very concerning. Combined with the long wait and poor service, the meal did not meet expectations. Overall, the service was slow and disorganized, and the food quality was disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
