SUCH good food, and such sweet people! They gave us some mango lassi and an appetizer free of charge, and the atmosphere was so amazing! Very very clean inside, and well maintained! My boyfriend and I split the butter chicken, and one order of the garlic naan, and we are both incredibly full. Perfect amount of food for a decently low price! Would 100% recommend, and we are definitely coming back! Thank you!!! read more

Food here is great! Not only that but it's a great value as well. Ordered 4 butter chicken curries to provide guests at the house and everyone loved it. I'll have to come back to try the other curries next time. Restaurant is right off of Main Street in Auburn and there's free parking as well. Inside there's room for about 25-30 people to sit down. Staff are friendly and the owners mentioned that they opened about 10 months ago. They even threw in an extra naan for us because of our large order. read more

Not sure when this place popped up. We tried it out twice before giving a review. Not many vegan options. Wish they cooked more dishes with a dairy free option. Nice place to dine-in but they also to orders for pick up etc. friendly customer service. This small place can get pretty busy. We tried lamb, shrimp and goat dishes with some side choices. Ordering portions are shareable for a part of two. read more

Revising my review. The food here is very good but they no longer offer sit down eating. It's all done online to the point they dont even want to do take out. Apparently interfacing with customers is no longer acceptable to them. Too bad, it's nice to get out of the house, but that won't happen here. If you are into having your food delivered, this is the place. read more

Wow wow wow!!!! This is our new FAVORITE SPOT! Exceptional service with even more exceptional food! Portions are very large and flavor is spectacular! Very accommodating for dietary restrictions... ie Vegan, dairy free, gluten free options! The server is so kind and sweet! It's very clean and comfortable. This is a must try! It's a little hidden spot with food that will have you coming back for more! The value here is fantastic! Less expensive than most, with larger portions than most! read more

Food is excellent and the staff is so kind. They accommodated my wife's tree nut allergy and made sure she could enjoy a great meal. Also, a note, this place is also listed on Maps as Notion of Spice. Same place, totally recommend. read more

Very nice employees and servers. Food is inconsistent in flavor. Used to be outstanding but our last order of the usual items we get was markedly different such that we wondered if there was an ownership change. read more

We had a great dinner here! It was probably the best curry I have had. We are not spicy people, so spice level 1, but still so flavorful! Wife enjoyed the butter chicken. I have the chicken coconut and mango lassi. Both were fantastic. So many levels of flavor I. The coconut curry, and the mango lassi was thick, delicious, right amount of sweetness and oh so mangoey! The place is small, but we were the only ones there on a Tuesday night. They took god care of us. We will definitely be back. read more

Such a delicious food. The best Indian restaurant in the area! I am still enjoying my Narvana paneer left overs.

This place is so good. We had the butter chicken, lamb curry, and matar paneer, and I can't decide what was my favorite because everything was so tasty. 4 star is the perfect spice level. If we hadn't taken leftovers away we'd probably be coming back for lunch tomorrow read more

I looked up the reviews on this place before I headed to it ....35 on Yelp, 157 on google ... the place is a small, unassuming, quiet interior but the food was just like the reviews said -- absolutely authentic . I ordered the chicken biryani with raita.... and I'm not sure how they make it today in India, but when I was there in the 80s, this is as authentic as that... Top shelf !! read more

Husband and I found a hidden treasure tonight. This humble little restaurant in a strip mall in Auburn is the domain of an amazing chef who has created menus for exclusive restaurants around the middle east, the kind of places maharajahs and princes eat at. The place looks like any fast food teriyaki or paper-plate-and-plastic-spork joint but do not be fooled. The food here is five-star in every way. The chef just arrived here 6 months ago, showed me pictures on his phone from the restaurants he's been at, and the food was plated like art. He makes everything fresh for you when you order, nothing preheated before you got there, this is SERIOUSLY THE BEST Indian food I've ever had. Like, EVER. My Chicken Tikka came with the loveliest tomato rose I've ever seen, and the vegetables were a perfect compliment to the perfectly tender chicken. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Or get GrubHub from here. Or get catering. Before some Michelin star restaurant finds this guy and scoops him up. Because I'm guessing they will. Seriously. Eat something from here while you can! https://www.mumbaigrandmenu.com/ read more

Mumbai Grand - A gorgeous, perfect Chicken Tikka. - Indian Near Me - Auburn, Washington

Ive eaten here several times. The flavor is good but they cook the heck out of all their meat and its dry and tough.

This is some of the best Indian food I've ever had!! It's flavorful, good spice level, etc. I've tried butter chicken, narvana chicken, bhartha, and aloo matar and all are delicious. The narvana chicken was a bit spicy for me but the raita balanced it out. Tonight we got the mixed tandoori grill - I was shocked at the amount of food and how tender the meat was! Their samosa and naan is among the best I've had. Honestly I haven't had anything I haven't loved. read more

Finally posting this review. My friend and I were craving Indian food and found ourselves in Auburn trying Mumbai Grand. We immediately received a friendly greeting from the proprietor. The menu was extensive but we settled on the garlic na'an, tandoori tikka chicken and butter chicken. I have never had better na'an in my life. It was absolutely phenomenal. The tandoori chicken was so tender and flavorful. I have to say, I think it was also the best I've experienced. I need to try everything on their menu. Can't wait to go back!! read more

10 star cuisine in a 5 star world. So flavorful, and hearty, their methi (which we added paneer to) was superb, piping hot, packed well, and given with such love and care, with huge portions lasting multiple servings. The beautiful spirit of the owner and the lady helping him shine so brightly, it adds to the food. Many blessings upon this business and the people running it, for them to have all they need for peace, prosperity, and protection, now and in the New Year. Thank you! read more

We normally have good take out food from here, even if the spice levels are inconsistent. Unfortunately, today we discovered something in our food which shouldn't normally be there. I'm certain it was a mistake that didn't get caught, but it is really concerning and guarantees we won't be ordering here again. read more

Food is authentic and delicious! Excellent service too! Glad we stumbled upon this spot for a fantastic dinner.

This place is fantastic. We've been here twice. food is way better than the other places in the area- authentic, clean full of flavor and the staff is super super friendly. They go above and beyond to make the presentation look nice. Check it out. This place is awesome. We will be back for sure with the whole family next time read more

I've eaten curries all over the world. I would par it evenly with the London restaurants if not above. Chicken saag was excellent, rice is perfectly cooked typical Indian style not sticky. Pakoras and Samosas, not greasy, are excellent. Bravo this will now be my place to go. I brought my food home, spicy and finished off with a cold beer. Heaven!! read more

First of all, I had placed an online order. They open at 11:30 and the earliest time I could choose for pickup was noon. I got there at noon and was told it would be another 25 minutes. The guy at the counter did not seem very thrilled to be there. I had asked for utensils and napkins, which were not in the bag when I got home. I'm not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. The naan was pretty good but the chicken was super tough and the lamb tasted gamey. Very disappointed Won't be going back. read more
