We ended up going because the weather was great and we wanted to sit outside. Not a lot of Indian places offer that. It's in a quiet neighborhood so that was good. Nothing to see.

We went there on a weekday dinner around 8pm. They just had the grand opening couple of days ago. We ordered masala dosa and veg uttpam. Both items came quickly. I was really amazed to see their plate and utensils. Sambhar came in a really big bowl and all 3 chutneys (coconut, peanut, tomato) were also good. The waitress came to check in on us after few mins. We provided her feedback. Restaurant is spacious and restrooms were clean. Location is good as lot of Indian families in this area but good competition as well with other south Indian restaurant. They also have bunch of pastry and snacks options pre made and available at the counter. Its a women owned restaurant. Really nice to see another good restaurant in this area.

The margarita was also disappointing--very weak, too sour and upset my stomach I didn't finish it. The outdoor space is nice enough for kids to run around, but don't expect a traditional playground with swings or climbing equipment. It's mostly an open grassy area where kids can kick a soccer ball or throw a softball. What really stood out was the lack of ambiance. There was no music playing outside, so the atmosphere felt oddly flat and quiet. A little background music would have gone a long way in creating a welcoming vibe. We didn't stay long because of it. You have to order at the door and 90 seconds in I am given a tablet asking for the tip for my service which has not happened yet. My wife and I ordered iced tea and set at the bar so we could watch the world cup. Since we were not drinking bar drinks, the bartender ignored us and never refilled our tea. The manager was sitting at the end of the bar with another guy that was wearing a Briteside t-shirt drinking a beer and dropping F-bombs. Keep in mind this is a place that caters to families with elementary and junior high kids and they are dropping F-bombs right and left. Manager did come over and ask how my food was. I said "awful". He asked why and I said what I said above. He said "well the cook cooked it too long". No offer of any kind to fix the situation. No apology. When we left he did apologize for the fish but I stated that I didn't feel he meant it since he pretty much dismissed my complaint by changing the subject to the fly fishing resort referenced on my shirt. It was decent. The one standout was the Chicken Noodles & Fried Rice Fusion. Easily the best dish of the night. Flavorful but still balanced. If I ever come back, this is what I'd order. For drinks, mango lassi was good. Sitaphal (custard apple) shake was okay. Both came in prepackaged bottles, which was kind of odd. You have a bar... why not just make them fresh? Service was rough. The waiter avoided us like crazy. At one point we had to send someone to go find him. To be fair, we weren't the easiest group to deal with, so I'll give him a bit of a pass. Also worth noting, everything except the noodle dishes came out room temp, which didn't help. Overall, just a very uneven experience. A couple decent dishes and one standout, but too many issues across food, service, and overall execution to overlook.
