We were the only ones outside with this kind of order. The chicken was okay, fried no spice or flavor. Apollo fish was friend in beans batter or something. Again was okay. Goat pulao tasted quite bland however both rice and meat was cooked well. The chicken biryani was also okay. Overall food wasn't great and lacked flavor. We ended up going because the weather was great and we wanted to sit outside. Not a lot of Indian places offer that. It's in a quiet neighborhood so that was good. Nothing to see.

Aug 13, 2025 review for PARMER branch location…read more ---- I understand that this is the page for Leander Location but I'm leaving the review here since they don't have the yelp page created yet for PARMER location. We went there on a weekday dinner around 8pm. They just had the grand opening couple of days ago. We ordered masala dosa and veg uttpam. Both items came quickly. I was really amazed to see their plate and utensils. Sambhar came in a really big bowl and all 3 chutneys (coconut, peanut, tomato) were also good. The waitress came to check in on us after few mins. We provided her feedback. Restaurant is spacious and restrooms were clean. Location is good as lot of Indian families in this area but good competition as well with other south Indian restaurant. They also have bunch of pastry and snacks options pre made and available at the counter. Its a women owned restaurant. Really nice to see another good restaurant in this area.

I came to this location on Friday after coming back from Fredericksburg with The Things because…read morethey were "starving" because I clearly never feed them!!! When we arrived at the food truck area, there were only two food trucks open of the four that were parked there (this being one of them). When I arrived at the window of the food truck, the gentleman came out of the food truck to explain what the best dishes on the menu were. After pursuing the menu, I elected to go with the mutton curry and Thing One elected to go with the butter chicken. Mutton curry Simple yet delicious, mutton curry is an easy and wholesome meal to put together. I love a good mutton curry as it contains high-quality protein, essential amino acids, and high levels of valuable micronutrients, including iron, zinc, and vitamin B. This Indian mutton curry is made with tomatoes and onions cooked with spices for a rich, hearty dish. While it takes a little while to cook, this from-scratch curry is mostly hands-off. By the time it's done cooking, the sauce is flavorful and fragrant, and the mutton is fork-tender. This mutton was also spicy with a hint of fresh mint. From my experience of living in Singapore for over 3 years, visiting India on more than one occasion, and having various American Indian dishes, I attest this is by far one of the best mutton dishes I've experienced globally. Butter chicken Butter chicken is a great, ever-evolving, cross-continental dish found in Delhi, London, New York, Perth, and even here in the ATX. Butter chicken uses tandoori chicken cooked in a tandoor (a type of Indian oven) that gives the chicken, subsequently, a wonderful smoky flavor. In its purest form, it is yogurt-and-spice-marinated chicken dressed in a velvety red bath comprising butter, onions, ginger, and tomatoes scented with garam masala, cumin and turmeric, with a cinnamon tang. Thing One ordered this dish with medium heat. This chicken dish was flavorful, tangy, and absolutely authentic. To accompany both dishes, we ordered two butter Naan. While we did not try the Nepalese cuisine from this truck, if the Indian food is any indication of the quality of the Nepalese cuisine, I am sure it is divine. I will definitely be back. * Don't forget to use the Yelp check-in offer if you visit #supportlocal
