Lunch special option tikka masala. The food was much better than I was expecting.

The food was much better than I anticipated. I ordered the tikka masala lunch special.

Delicious, authentic North Indian food and flavours! We had the chole bhature and aloo paratha from their street food menu, both dishes were served piping hot and we devoured the food. The bhature were too oily though so had to dab them with napkins a fair few times to soak it up. The restaurant is small but cozy and staff is friendly. Service was fairly quick on a Saturday afternoon.

Came in at 10:35 PM ordered Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala. After our initial order we wanted to change one of the items but that was refused as they had already started the order (less than 2 minutes after we said that order) . Food came out promptly in to go containers without silverware and we were asked to leave as they were closing early. We had to beg them for silverware. I had tipped them 18% expecting table service since they advertised that they were open late on their website, yelp, and google. I am incredibly frustrated and would not come back here even if this was the best Indian food in the world based on how I was treated.

Clean vibrant atmosphere, friendly helpful service. Food was all excellent. I could eat here several nights a week and not get tired of exploring the menu.

A really good Indian cuisine that satisfies the spice we all need in our lives. Service is good and the food comes out in great timing

Small and out of the way but once you find this place you will keep coming back. I stepped in for lunch and have been coming back weekly. The first thing I noticed was they are super friendly and helpful. They have a younger girl who seems to be there working when I come and she knows me by name now. While I am obsessed with the Chole Bhature and flat bread I am also a fan of the butter chicken and lamb dishes. I recommend the lunch specials and the mango lassi. If you're looking for a place to come that is out of the way and a peaceful ambiance Angeethi is your spot

Stopped in with my youngest to cure a craving for Indian food. Happy to report we had a great meal. The dining area is very nice but most folks were just picking up takeout. Our server was kind and helpful. We ended up trying the mutton curry, the chickpea samosa appetizer, and some butter naan. Everything was really fresh and delicious. My only disappointment was that we didn't get to try more! The masala chai and mango lassi was a nice way to wash it all down. We brought home some wonderful badam kheer for dessert. We can't wait to come back.

Veg hakka noodles are SOOOO good! I would have ordered less spice of I knew but for a spicy dish it has great flavor.

Finally a great Indian food experience in Cedar Park area! The food is very well done the tandoori chicken is still juicy and delicious not dry like most of the Indian places around here. The service is amazing and the ambiance is intimate and probably only seats about 40 people. On a late Saturday night it was only 1/2 full but they had a steady flow of people collecting to go orders which gave me a good indication that these guys will be a long term resident here in Cedar Park. I rarely give 5 stars but these guys earned it and it will be a part of our families regular rotations.

Aromatic Cumin Rice South Delhi Tandoori Chicken
    Richard T.

The absolute best Indian food all around in the area. I cannot talk up the rice enough. Or the amount of flavour they impart on the tandoori chicken. I it's a 40 minute round trip to pick this up to go, but I will gladly make it. Seems like a great family atmosphere inside, and open late. I was told a lot of Indian families traditionally eat later, so it keeps the family atmosphere much later than other restaurants. Alcohol is also not readily available, as I believe they are BYOB. I regularly get the Roti, South Delhi Tandoori Chicken, and Masala Papadum for dinner, and the leftovers are perfect to take to lunch. It also is hysterical when reheating the rice is mistaken for a perfume or candle. All in all 10/10 just go.

There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. I'm into a moderate spice, and this is burning my lips as I type. There was no option when ordering online to determine level of spice so we weren't ready for that. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. The tandoori chicken is nice and flavorful and tender. $17 for three drumsticks and two thighs might be a bit steep. Overall not an overwhelmingly good experience.

We went there on a weekday dinner around 8pm. They just had the grand opening couple of days ago. We ordered masala dosa and veg uttpam. Both items came quickly. I was really amazed to see their plate and utensils. Sambhar came in a really big bowl and all 3 chutneys (coconut, peanut, tomato) were also good. The waitress came to check in on us after few mins. We provided her feedback. Restaurant is spacious and restrooms were clean. Location is good as lot of Indian families in this area but good competition as well with other south Indian restaurant. They also have bunch of pastry and snacks options pre made and available at the counter. Its a women owned restaurant. Really nice to see another good restaurant in this area.

Our server, Pushpa, was exceptional - he was kind and patient with the kids, and very attentive to our table. I appreciated him going above and beyond. We ordered the kids the cheese dosa combo, which is served with fries and either gobi 65 or chicken lollipop, and an ice cream. Both kids loved the dosa, and finished their meals happily. We also ordered: 1. hariyali paneer kebab for appetizer - my partner loved this but I thought it was mediocre and a bit tough/chewy. 2. nagas special chicken curry - delicious! Loved this one. It hits, especially on a cold day. Beware that medium spice level is actually pretty spicy. Served with rice. 3. nagas special goat curry - my partner ate this as I don't eat goat. Out of all the places nearby, Sangam stands out the most to me. This place is ALWAYS busy from open to close, every day of the week, and after eating here for years, it's easy to understand why. You can literally smell the fresh curries from the nearby HEB. The aroma alone makes you hungry. We've been coming since they first opened, and it's been great watching them continue to improve and expand the restaurant over time. The staff is attentive, friendly, and constantly checking in to help with orders or anything else you need. We've tried a huge variety of dishes over the years. Several curry's such as the Chettinad special curry, butter chicken, tikka masala, chicken 65, several biryanis, all consistently delicious. One of my personal favorites is the plain dosa and curry combo, which comes with four different chutneys that are all fantastic. Even my young son loves coming here because they have things like shrimp noodles and fried rice that are kid friendly while still tasting great. We used to mostly order to-go, but lately we've started dining in more often because the experience itself is so enjoyable. Service is quick, the atmosphere is comfortable, and I really appreciate the details. The artwork and photos on the walls, the music, and the lighting that isn't overly bright. They even dim it more in the evenings, which makes it feel even more relaxed and welcoming. Every visit has been a great experience for our family. Spice Fine Indian Cuisine is a diamond (surely some of the best Indian food I have eaten in Austin) ... or a chunk of coal. Let me put it another way... I waited to see if I got sick before I wrote this review. For perspective, I grew up in Mexico. I'm not easily frightened away, but I can spot red flags. First thought upon arrival: "So glad I checked their health score on Yelp." See Spice Fine Indian Cuisine (95 out of 100). Upon closer inspection, Spice Fine Indian Cuisine (aka AG's Spice, aka Pushpa) has an abysmal record. In fact, this restaurant is simultaneously operating under three different names and has three different Yelp pages. Please see my photos to review their Food Establishment Inspection Scores from Austin's Open Data Portal. A score of 58 just last year would be considered poor and would indicate that the restaurant has had multiple critical violations, such as issues with food handling, storage, or cleanliness. In Texas, the lowest health rating a restaurant can receive is an F, or a score of 70 or below. This is a travesty, because the food really, truly was delicious, and their offerings are fascinating. If this place were truly cleaned up, it could easily become the toast of the town... it was that good. They specialize in Hyderabad cuisine- something I know nothing about - but they also serve many of American's favorite dishes, such as curry, or Tikka Masala. Red flags: - The man who came to our table to "check" on us was so unkempt that it was remarkable. His hair had not seen shampoo for a very long time. I speculate that he was one or all of the following: owner, manager, chef. - Tables and menus had been wiped clean with a very greasy cloth or sponge. The glass top was streaked everywhere. - Bits of dried old food on supposedly clean dishes (we were handed a stack of dinner plates, and two of them had them). I imagine that they use an industrial dishwasher, so I wasn't alarmed. Still... - We were the only people in the place for two hours (5-7pm) on a Saturday, which happened to be the restaurant's Happy Hour, according to their website. - A very dead potted plant right next to reception. - Three restaurant name changes? - We were seated in a booth which was not flush against the wall. In the crack, I spotted a fork, a newspaper and a wadded tissue.
