We recently dined here on a weekday craving for what use to be awesome home cooked style desi food. Their service and food quality have drastically deteriorated unfortunately. We really wanted to enjoy our meal and after spending $60, we were still not satisfied as we hardly ate anything. We ordered two thali's and none of the items tasted good...in-fact their Punjabi kadhi was stale and tasted pathetic. The kiddos got chole bhature and they were just ok and thankfully kids ate them. This location has a nicer ambience than the one in Sunnyvale. If you are a large party, be prepared to wait for a table on Friday night. We ordered: *Kofta curry (4.5 stars) - Creamy, sweet sauce with delicious potato dumplings (tastes like coconut too). I asked for spicy but it was not spicy at all. *Dahi Bateta Sev Poori (4 stars) - Pani Poori with yogurt instead of spicy mint water. All the ingredients went well together, wafer was kinda crispy. *Orka (4 stars) - It's flavorful, and has lots of ginger *Tandoori Paneer with cilantro (special menu) - I was hoping for a saucy paneer, but it ended up being dry paneer on hot plate. The pieces can be cut smaller. Overall, food was delicious, and each dish is relatively small in portion so you can have a variety. I have been fascinated with chaat ever since I saw a yelp review about a chaat cart in sunnyvale, since I am a bit far from Sunnyvale my friend recommended chaat bhavan in dublin to me. We ended up coming here for dinner. I was starving when we came, and we ended up ordering 5 dishes, gobi manchurian, garlic naan, bhel poori, dahi bateta sev poori, chili paneer, and gulab jamun for dessert. I wish we had ordered a rice dish too. The bhel poori and dahi bateta sev poori came out first. I didn't know these 2 dishes were cold but they were delicious nonetheless. The dahi bateta sev poori was alot sweeter than I thought it would be and I feel like we could have had it for dessert. The gobi manchurian here was pretty sweet too, but the cauliflower was so crispy and the breading was great. The chili paneer was probably my favorite dish, it wasn't too salty or sweet and was delicious when eaten with the garlic naan. I was so glad we ordered so many dishes because they all had different textures and flavors. I feel like it wouldn't have been as satisfying if all the foods had the same texture. When we left I saw someone had ordered a sizzling dish on a hot griddle that looked amazing. I will be coming back asap because i saw at least 10 other dishes that I wanted to try. read more

I discovered this restaurant while at the Xfinity store close by. I used to live in the South Bay and had a favorite hole in the wall chaat restaurant that I have sorely missed now that I live in the east bay. This place is not a hole in the wall but a nice sit down restaurant with the same delicious chaat items on the menu. I got paneer pakora which was phenomenal - spicy green chutney to dip and hot and crispy pakora. Very generous serving size. I also got a wrap- which was good but not as good as the pakora. Wish I ordered the Chana masala instead - but will try that next time. read more

My go to for Indian food in the area. Lots of spice - my friend's head was sweating during my last meal there. The saag paneer has just the right amount of heat. The one dish I felt could have been toned down a bit was the biryani as the heat level of the vegetables was a bit overwhelming. The Chili Thyme Naan is very good. There was a chaat with some spice that I had on my first visit which I really liked but can't remember which one. The one I ordered on my last visit was a bit bland, had small chopped tomatoes and was not as good. read more
