Above and Beyond! Exceptional Service and Beautiful Results!…read more After a frustrating experience with Homerilla curtains and a failed track system, we were beginning to wonder whether we'd ever achieve the beautiful, high-end look we originally envisioned. Then we found Gladys at Viu Window and Home, Inc. Our situation was particularly challenging because Homerilla's ripple-fold system was manufactured in China using nonstandard components and materials, making it nearly impossible to find replacement carriers compatible with our existing draperies. But Gladys was determined to find a solution. Rather than telling us it couldn't be done or suggesting we purchase entirely new curtains, she went above and beyond, ultimately locating a supplier who could provide an exact match for our unusual ripple-fold carriers. No small feat! Her installation team was equally impressive. They were meticulous, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring our curtains hung beautifully and operated smoothly. The finished result is exactly the elegant, custom, high-end look we'd hoped for from the beginning but never achieved with the original Homerilla system. What really sets Gladys apart is her persistence, resourcefulness, and genuine commitment to getting things right. She turned a frustrating situation into a beautiful success. Five stars aren't enough! We couldn't be happier with the results and wholeheartedly recommend Gladys and Viu Window and Home to anyone looking for exceptional service, creative problem-solving, and outstanding workmanship.

But now that everything is done. it looks amazing! We chose some shades that allow light to filter to through during the daytime and still allows privacy at night. I am absolutely in love with the choices we made and happy to have gone with that company. If you are considering windows I would definitely at least reach out to Lea.

David suggested doing motorized for the big window because it's too large for manual, and it turned out beautifully. I ended up choosing zebra shades, motorized for the large windows and manual for the rest. The shades arrived a week earlier than expected. On installation day, Yeyo showed up early and installed all 12 windows super fast. He also cleaned up afterward. All the shades turned out beautifully. We were interested in changing them out for motorized shades and Rommel came out to our home for the consultation. He explained that the original cellular shades could not be retro-fitted to be motorized, so we would have to buy new sets. No problem - and totally understandable! Rommel was very patient and thorough with his explanation of why and working with us to understand our project. We ended up purchasing four sets of shades for our primary bedroom to cover two large windows with a two-layer, motorized system of black-out and light-filtering cellular shades. Rommel's installation team (Rene and Martin) were amazing - super fast, diligent, and competent! They also moved the original set of cellular shades we had to our living room, which meant we didn't lose them after all! They also updated the cord pulls for the original set, which we appreciated. The motorized shades have been such a wonderful addition to our master bedroom! We love the total darkness it provides for sleeping in -- and the automatic scheduler to lower / raise the shades as well has proven very convenient. We are VERY pleased with this upgrade. Overall, JMK Shutters offers a comprehensive, customer-first experience. Their team is knowledgeable, competent, and on-time. We have only good things to say about Rommel, Rene, and Martin and would consider them again for future work.
