The sellers had installed 2 new direct-to-consumer brand (Zokop) heat pumps with 4 heads (2 for each) in the home roughly 1 year ago (they are not providing records, but this is a reasonable estimate). After move-in, we noticed an error on the head unit in our son's room. Precision had previously repaired a broken AC at my small business 2 years ago. It was a good experience then, so I was excited to hire them again. They sent 2 technicians to our house, Edgar and Dylan, to service the units and diagnose. Long story short: Dylan broke the fan in one of the good units, which was maybe a year old (per Edgar's estimation based on some technical detail about Freon...you'd have to ask him) and previously working perfectly. He stuck a probe thermometer in the unit to check its efficiency and then caught the fan blade with it as he pulled it out. There was a CRUNCH and 3 bits of plastic fell out. He said "what was that?" and otherwise shrugged it off. No apology. No taking of responsibility, no solution or assessment offered. Completely unprofessional. I stayed calm, paid for their service, and got them out of my house. They assessed the issue with the other unit to be a Freon leak and quoted for repair. Shortly afterwards, I did a small amount of googling and concluded it was likely the fan. The following week, their office called to schedule the leak repair and I asked to speak to the service manager. His name is Wendell. He asked for a photo of the broken pieces (same one I'm posting here) as well as a photo of the label on the unit, which I also provided. He said he'd see what he could figure out. 1 week went by, I called back, he said he couldn't find anything about the unit or source parts, but if I find the part, they could install it. Not a good solution. I stayed calm and said I would think about it. Here's the thing, I'm also a repair-based contractor. Sometimes, I make a mistake and break something. We're all human, but our mistakes are our responsibility. I can't imagine breaking a customer's perfectly good thing and then just acting like, well, nothing I can do. Total BS. You can't find the part? Buy us a new unit. Too expensive? File an insurance claim. You came into my house, broke a new, working thing, and then left me high and dry. Completely unacceptable. Anyway, I thought about it, decided I don't want these clowns in my house again, and I don't want to keep asking them to act like adults with a sense of responsibility. I hired another company to fix the freon leak. They charged $100 more than what Precision quoted me but also did the assessment and repair the same day. That technician verified these pieces are from the "blower wheel," which is just another word for fan. I still have not resolved the issue with the fan Precision broke. They have a responsibility to make this right, but I'm sure it's on nobody's to do list. Maybe they read their reviews?

Not only was Jorge able to get the bolt free at no extra charge but he also installed a brand new one from his mobel repair van. A more money minded mechanic may have asked me to pay extra to fix the damage I had done to my own car in my amature attempt to repair it. Auto Repair To You does great quality work at a great price. However, my GMC was in need of more repairs. It has almost 100,000 miles on it so it wasn't surprising. So, yes, I had to pay more when I left but my car is running so great now. Not only that, Mark had the mechanic save all the failing/older parts so that I was able to see what was done. I didn't feel as if I was being taken advantage of. I have recommended Brake Zone to a few people already and will be taking my other car in for general maintenance too. If you want a good deal with peace of mind, I highly recommend going in to see Mark.

I took my Ford F350 in because it was having a delayed start; they played whack-a-mole trying to…read morefind the issue, and Mark (the shop owner) suggested that I had several problems, and after I agreed to pay for a new starter (that was already new) and had no need to change and once that didn't fix the problem, we went through the wiring harness, glow plug harness. My cooling fan cover ended up missing; he replaced a turbo that was already new and gave me a defective one. When I took the truck back because it was having electric issues and problems with the new turbo (all the work was supposed to be covered by the warranty), come to find out he had an apprentice diesel mechanic do the work. Mark told me to get a second opinion, and I did. He also advised he would honor the warranty and have the new mechanic do the work and reimburse me because it was out of their wheelhouse of what they are capable of doing mechanically. So I did, and when I brought the invoice, he refused to honor the warranty. This is one of the most horrible shops, and I would not recommend it to anyone. After almost $10k spent, I took it to another shop, and they fixed all the issues that Brake Zone did not, and the new mechanic did not upsell me on unnecessary work or parts. Very bad EXPERIENCE!!!! Would not recommend.

When they told me I needed new brake pads before my trip. With any other shop I probably would have gotten a 2nd opinion and done some price shopping, I trust them. They also go above and beyond in their customer service. I 1st went there on the recommendation of a friend. The dealership had just quoted $110 to change a headlight bulb. When I asked them how much it would be, they quoted the price of the bulb, 20ish if I remember, and didn't charge me to put it in. Fast forward 5 years, I asked them to change my husband's headlight. They looked at it, it had a loose connection, they tightened it up at no charge. These seem like small things but it speaks volumes about the business. I highly recommend this shop.
