Great experience, very honest and straightforward which can feel rare with auto shops. Will be coming back with any further repair needs.

Vast automotive knowledge, professional and fair. Also very patient with my lack of knowledge. Best mechanic around!

Bavarian did a great job repairing the top on my CLK 350 and charged a fair price. Highly recommend them!

Went in to ask a question and was rude from the start. Didn't even listen to what I was trying to say.

The main counter person there is not very friendly at all. I wish I could find another place to repair my BMW.

This is a terrible shop! Absolutely the worst experience ever! He is absolutely the worst manager and should not be in business. When he is angry with a customer he slams doors and acts in threatening ways with a gun in his rafters and a hole in his front window. It's just time for Cory to sell his shop and move on. He needs to realize that the labor per hour difference between Cory's car care and Lexus is only 19 per hour. While at Lexus I get a loaner vehicle that's a new Lexus! They have a clean customer service lounge with free beverages and doughnuts, Lexus of Portland is amazing! Why is Cory's car care trying to compete? I originally started going to Cory's in the fall of 2020 for minor things like transmission oil and filter changes. Struts on my Toyota Avalon; Little stuff; Cory much like biff in back to the future would often get things wrong and you have to kind of stand there with him so he will stay focused on the issue until he realizes what the real problem is. It never was a professional experience. But I thought it was a way to help a family business stay in business. However, he isn't even owning up to his failed installation of parts at this point. He's trying to fraud people on their work warranty and refusing to complete the repairs. He can't legally do this. Personally, Cory is off his rocker! I hope the next owner does better than this maybe it won't even be a garage anymore. Sad ending to Cory's car care.

I called Honest One Auto on Wednesday to schedule an appointment for Monday morning for an overall…read moreinspection. Everything seemed fine, but then I received a call on Friday saying they had an opening on Saturday morning and asked if I wanted to move my appointment up. Unfortunately, I was out of town and couldn't make it Saturday. When I arrived Monday for the appointment I had originally scheduled, I was told that my appointment was no longer in the computer and that they would have to work me into the schedule. This was extremely frustrating because I had specifically called ahead and made an appointment for Monday, and it appeared that my original appointment had been removed because they were hoping I would come in Saturday instead. Once I was finally seen, I went in knowing my check engine light was on and that I likely needed an oil pressure sensor. I also knew my front brakes were getting low because they had started squeaking occasionally -- nothing that seemed urgent. The inspection resulted in a $2,373.46 estimate. They recommended replacing both the front and rear brakes and rotors, in addition to the oil pressure sensor. I decided not to move forward with the recommended repairs and told them I would call if I wanted to schedule anything. I ended up getting a second opinion, and I'm very glad I did. The second shop confirmed that my front brakes did need to be replaced, but said the additional pins/rotors recommended by Honest One were not necessary. They also told me my rear brakes still had approximately 70% life remaining and did not need to be replaced. My second opinion came back at approximately $850 total for the oil pressure sensor and front brakes, compared with the $2,373.46 estimate from Honest One. I will say that I had a good experience with the oil change itself. I had already purchased my own oil and filter and decided to have them do the oil change while I was there, and that part of the experience was fine. Unfortunately, between the appointment mix-up and the significant difference in the repairs recommended versus what another shop found, I left feeling like I couldn't trust the inspection or estimate. I'm grateful I got a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars on repairs that, according to another shop, were not necessary. My advice: if you get a major repair estimate here, get a second opinion before approving the work.
