Everyone showed up on time and did a great job pruning an out of control fig tree and surrounding brush, including our side of the neighbor's ficus which was shedding onto our (flat) roof. Clean-up was perfect! Thank you, Cesar and company. Make sure you get the right Cesar:(323) 944-5523 read more

No wonder this has 3 star review. This guy has strong and difficult to understand accent. He is rude and Jack up the prices between 1-2 weeks. Acting as if he is doing me a huge favor. read more

Cesar repeatedly jerked me around with appointment times and after landing on a 4 PM time, he was a no-show. When I called him, he had zero apology to offer and didn't even remember what city I lived in. I would not recommend this business if you expect any professionalism or follow through. read more

When in the tree service business, you should be well educated on tree laws and permitting needs. Any business owner should be able to communicate clearly, honestly, and be sympathetic to clients needs. Being aggressive, argumentative, instigating and inappropriate to the community is not going to get you good reviews. Do they remove trees? Sure. And so do lots of other companies. read more

Cesar and crew went above and beyond to complete the job in one day. From quote to project completion, I experienced professionalism; follow through; timeliness; and satisfaction that was not limited to my household; my neighbors all commented and how well the crew cleaned up anything that fell into their yards. I look forward to having Cesar and crew come out again next year. read more

Cesar came out and gave me an estimate on taking out a 30' bottle brush tree, and grinding the stump. The estimate was good, so I arranged for them to come out on Monday Wednesday April 1st. I then got to thinking that we were going to have rain for Friday night through Sunday ( a muddy mess ) Minutes later, Cesar showed up at my door, wanting to know if they could do it today (Friday). So I said yeah, absolutely. Cesar's crew showed up at the appointed time (1PM) and we're done and cleaned up by 2:15. Omar should be a surgeon...he was able to complete the work, amid an orange tree, two lemon trees, and my wife's prized "Trumpet" They worked as a team, were very professional and friendly. I could not be happier. I would "Highly" recommend Cesar and his team. read more

Worst crew. Nobody speaks a simple, bare minimum English. Leaves your yard messy. They do not clean at all. DO NOT and I say DO NOT make the same mistake I made by hiring his services. I am still cleaning up the mess they left on my yard. And be very careful, they DO NOT PERFORM EXACTLY WHAT CESAR AGREED TO DO ... Will never ever use their services EVER AGAIN and definitely WILL NOT RECOMMEND their services. read more

He says he's licensed but there is no way. If this guy doesn't like you and then claims to get hurt while doing the job you're up a creek without a paddle. If you think your home owners insurance is expensive now. Just wait. You get what you pay for.......i wish they had a zero rating read more

Cesar was really professional and spoke good English. Once he got the job all of the sudden he has amnesia and could no longer speak English. Don't waste your money with Cesar and his company. He does not deliver on what he says that his going to do. He twist things and ultimately blames it on his not understanding of English. Never again with him or his employees. Complete choas. read more

I was going to hire Cesar's team to trim trees. They were tall and intertwined with electrical cables. On his card he it states he's licensed and insured. I couldn't find his license number so I asked him for it. This is when things went sideways. He got angry and told me it's either $300 without license and insurance proof or it's $6,000 to trim the trees and he will show it to me. read more

Keep getting business cards dropped off on our doorstep for years. Decided to try them to cut a tree over our pool. The business card says they have a license but I couldn't find them on the CSLB. When I called and asked for the license number, he hung up on me. Stay away !! read more

Not sure why anyone would have anything negative to say about Cesar. He was straightforward and honest. He told me what his crew would do and they did it. Look at the fantastic results below. Amazing. Thanks Cesar and I will refer you to others. read more

Cesar & his team are really really good and a pleasure to work with. They came to our home to work on a large old tree that needed to go & trimmed 2 palm trees. Stellar service & honest guys. Definitely will be my go to for all tree jobs and will recommend to everyone I know. Amazing prices, to be honest you can't beat their rates. Very happy with the work done! read more

Keeps leaving flyers on my doorstep even after I have asked them not to. I'm starting to think they have created a tree cutting business to produce enough paper for their flyers. read more

We are completely pleased with the work that Cesar and his crew did at our house. We have a huge Jacaranda in our front yard that needed to be trimmed. That's what I was most concerned with. His rate was very reasonable compared to other quotes that I've had. In discussions, I showed Cesar the backyard and a tree that needed to be cut down. Not only did I get a great rate, but his crew started work that very same day! All in a matter of 4 days they've done work at 4 houses on my street, including my neighbor! All in total, I had a Jacaranda trimmed, 8 trees/partial trees removed, 9 stumps removed, and we added on 3 trumpet vines completely removed that were intertwined in a chain link fence. Cesar and his team are very professional and quick to get the job done. Cesar kept great communications with me throughout. I highly recommend Cesar Tree Service! I wish I had taken all of the before and after photos. read more

Made an appointment 1 week before needed. Agreed on the price and start time if 7:30 am local time. Not only did they never show up, they never answered the calls that day, they did not respond to text messages either!! I would rather do the work myself than depend on these guys... read more

did not show up on appo, depite my reminder the day before. workers showed, but wrong date. cesar said " because no information" . there's no insurance nor license number. cannot even remember that he was here for estimate and what price. communication problems, english problems. read more

Overall great experience! Cesar was very responsive and professional, good guy to work with. A true expert on tree care and maintenance. I had many trees that needed trimming and shaping, and his crew did an excellent job! Their clean-up process was also great. His pricing too was very good. I would highly recommend Cesar Tree Service to anyone! read more

Cesar Tree Trimming is amazing. They trimmed a large Jacaranda tree in our front yard in Simi. Our initial call was very friendly and professional. They came over and gave an estimate within a few hours - the price was lower than a competitor's estimate. The appointment was the same week. They completed the work in under an hour and left everything tidy and clean. They were professional and courteous during the entire process. Our tree looks great! We will be recommending them to our neighbors. Thanks Cesar! read more

***SCAM ALERT*** Beware of Cesar Tree Service - They are dishonest and will send untrained crews to perform work, avoid communication, and then threaten to harass and vandalize your property rather than try and resolve issues in a professional manner. My husband and I had a very large camphor tree that we needed trimmed back slightly so that it wasn't hanging over our roof or fences into neighbor's yards. Cesar Tree Service had distributed cards in our neighborhood so thinking we were helping a local small business we gave them a call. We spoke to Cesar who came out to give us an estimate and we agreed that they would lightly trim back the tree and leave medium foliage as this tree is in the center of our back yard and provides the only shade which makes the yard enjoyable in the summer months. The day the crew came to perform the work Cesar was not among them and the crew removed the ENTIRE canopy of out 60+ year old tree and it now barely casts as shadow. Further they removed almost all of the leading branches and new growth so it's going to take the tree a decade or more to grow back anywhere near the canopy that we've now lost. Within 30 minutes of seeing the horrible job that was done both my husband and I had contact Cesar. He ignored my husband completely and rushed me off the phone as fast as possible saying he was going to call his crew and then call me back. Which he never did. My husband then tried to contact him and his calls and texts were repeatedly ignored. We had to put a stop payment on the check before he would even contact us to discuss the issue and rather than try and come to some kind of an understanding or to even apologize for the damage that was done he instead threatened to dump someone else's tree branches in our yard and driveway if we didn't pay him immediately. This is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with any small business in my entire life. These guys advertise themselves as "very honest and trustworthy" and this couldn't be farther from their reality. read more

Their truck says CG Tree Service I investigated thoroughly and they have no active licenses of any kind or insurance to perform any work. My neighbor used a similar outfit with no license or insurance and one worker was hurt doing the job and she went through a nightmare of lawsuits scamming her out of huge money. I'm glad I never used them after their bid and researched them. When I texted and called them to ask a question about the job they totally ignored me and ghosted me and would not respond. I guess they knew they lied when I asked for license and insurance info before doing the job. Judging by the reviews stay far away from these fraudsters. read more

Same as other reviews in that they keep putting their business cards in your door. When Cesar came out to give me the estimate I told him everything that needed to be done ie. brush clearance, weeding and pruning bushes and dead flower blooms. He agreed, but when his 2 workers came out they only did brush clearance and weed wacked the bushes. No weed pulling and no pruning. When I told them what was agreed to they said Cesar wanted more money than what was quoted! Never use them again. read more

Cesar came for quotation, I pointed out the height of which I want my tree trimmed. Told him and his crew several times that I want it a certain height and paid extra for my request to be done. However, he and his crew obviously did not want to understand measurements agreed because at additional 4 feet lower turned out to be 1 1/2 feet. I am so disappointed. read more

I just had a major tree removal done in Northridge. Cesar had a great price and was very helpful. He was very professional. He showed up himself for the initial quote. He listened to all of our concerns. He removed over 18 trees and a large plot of bamboo over a 3-day period. His workers were very aware to protect my home while they were working. They worked consistently from around 9am-4/5pm pm every day. I would not hesitate to recommend Cesar and his team. read more

These guys litter with their ads on our front porch every single week. They throw flyers, magnets, etc. on the ground on our porch and just dump them there. The amount of trash spreading through our neighborhood due to this company is unreal. The magnets are particularly pernicious as we have like 40 of them now that cannot be recycled so they just fill up waste bins. For a company that wants to care for trees, they certainly have insanely anti-environmental practices. I will never, ever use their service and I encourage others to avoid them. read more
