I have a large palm tree between my house and my neighbor. The fronds get very unruly and grow fast. My gardener has always trimmed them to keep them away from my house, but they were still growing on the other side and touching my neighbor's house. Our HOA is very strict about fire regulations and so this was a concern. I did some research on palm trees and learned that a tree specialist should be called to work on them, so I started looking for an arborist and found a few in the area. Some did not get back to me promptly or at all, but Jorge was ready for the job and he and his crew came on Wednesday afternoon and made short work of the tree! They left it with just a few fronds sticking up and nothing is touching either house! It looks great and I and my neighbor are very happy! The price was very reasonable and the crew cleaned up all the things that had been cut away. I will definitely be calling on Jorge again when I need any kind of tree work done. On the day of the job, he arrived on time, completed everything promptly, and charged exactly what was quoted--no surprises. He and his team worked quickly, were very thorough, and left everything neat. One part of the job involved trimming hedges from my neighbor's yard that grow over my wall. There's only about 18-24" of space between the wall and my pool, but they handled it beautifully without making a mess in the pool. I called Jorge after finding him on Yelp. He answered and set up a time THE NEXT MORNING to come out and look at the project and give me an estimate to remove 3, 30 foot thick Palm trees. We had Jorge and his team come over to our property a week and a half ago to prepare our property for fire season and they did an excellent job. We had 5 trees that were removed, a pepper tree that was thinned out, a jacaranda tree that was thinned out, several palm trees had palm fronds removed and cleaned up, multiple bushes trimmed, and had hedges trimmed. In addition, they removed a number a bushes around our house to give us a 5 foot defensible space for fires. When we initially called him, Jorge came over to our house the same day, walked our property with me, and gave us a quote and we scheduled a date for the service. On the date of the service at 8am, Jorge and a team of eight tree trimmers came over. They brought a tree shedder and two trucks to maximize the efficiency of processing the wood they cut. They worked hard the entire time, took care not to damage our electric and cable lines or anything else on our property. When the trimming was done, they diligently cleaned up all the remaining fallen branches and leaves and finished with blowers. They finished all this work in one day and left our property at 5pm. All in all a very professional job at a fair price. We will be using Jorge and his team for any future tree and bush trimming on our property. read more
