We just had Salina's Tree Service trim our hillside trees for required fire prevention clearance. Atanasio Salinas has been doing this for us for many years. He's very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. His price is always fair. Our hillside is very steep so it's a lot of work to cut and bring the branches up to the street and shred. His guys are hard working and do a great job! We highly recommend him! He also does weed abatement and knows the fire clearance rules very well. read more

I had Salinas Tree Service remove two large stumps, two large, overgrown pepper trees from our slope, and several medium sized bushes that were deeply rooted. They also trimmed our Chinese Elm and made it look great! They went above and beyond and I had a great process working with them. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome and will continue to use Salinas for any future tree trimming needs or projects I have going forward. read more

They were professional and friendly. It was the best tree service company we have ever used AND they had the lowest price. Absolutely first rate! I will call they first for any future needs we have. read more

Salinas did a bunch of work on my property including tree trimming, tree removal, and stump grinding. I was very impressed. He was very reasonable, had good quality workers, good supervision, and was reliable. He always answers his phone! I needed him to come remove a tree stump more down the road after the job had been completed when a deep part of the stump got in the way of the project, in which he didn't hesitate to come help me out with no charge. He guarantees his work and I would highly recommend him and his crew. Give him a call for your work and you won't be disappointed. read more

Highly recommended. Jorge and his crew showed up right on time and did a fabulous job at trimming all the palm trees and taking out a dead tree. He also has a good size crew that got the job done fairly quickly, His pricing was also better than a couple other quotes that I received. read more

Last year we called Salinas Tree Trimming and Jorge was honest with us and told us he was booked so we opted not to have him out for a quote. This year we made sure to call him in advance to get our tree work done prior to the Santa Ana winds. Jorge and his crew are efficient and punctual. Their equipment makes all the difference in the world which is top notch! They know what they are doing and do an amazing job. They trimmed 6 trees, took out 4 birds of paradise... including stump grinding , trimmed our palms up and trimmed the oak hedge hanging over from our neighbors yard. We are thrilled. Many thanks Jorge and crew!! See you again next year. read more

Called this guy for an estimate for trimming my palm. Literally, the 1st thing out of his mouth was "You can't afford it, it'll be $250." Actually, that was a high, but acceptable price, so bite me! read more

I strongly recommend Salinas personally. I had a tree that was not only in powerlines but that tree also grew over my roof making this a very strong fire hazard. I contacted Salinas and he came the same day to quote me. Very respectful and when I reached out to see when this could be done. His crew was here the very next day. After the job was complete they left my yard clean and I just cant praise that enough. Quality service from beginning to end. Do not waste your time with other companies, this one is first class. read more

Jorge and his crew were wonderful! They went above and beyond what we expected. Jorge was extremely patient and kind, when I expressed my concerns about our tree. He even saved several portions of the tree so that I could make a side table and some coasters! In addition, Jorge and the crew did some extra clean-up in our side yard, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend Jorge. Katarine and Don P. read more

Hired Salinas Tree Service and thought they did a great job trimming my trees but not great at other services like repairing sprinkers. I asked him for a quote on repairing the sprinkler valves and thought it was reasonable. He didn't show up when he said he would and weeks later he just shows up at my door early morning and tells me he has been busy with other jobs. He did a poor job at replacing the sprinkler valves as one of the valves is still leaking. I've called him several times to remind him and he keeps telling me he is busy with other jobs and that he will come by and he never shows up. It's been over 3 months now and still getting the runaround. I will hire someone else to fix the problem I paid him to do. He is unreliable and rude at times. Would not recommend. read more

Used them to take down a tree in my front yard in Ventura. They were taking down a neighbors palm trees. We agreed on a fair price and before I could get the money the tree was down, the root removed and the area cleaned up. Very fast, the guys were very nice and fast. Atanasio seems hardworking and fair. read more

My Ficus tree needed a trim desperately. Based on recommendations from Next Door Neighborhood app I called Atanasio of Salinas Tree Service. He came by the same day I called and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He arrived 2 days later, bright and early with his crew. They did a tremendous job trimming the tree. I feel the tree has new life. They crew was very conscientious about cleaning up and left my yard spic and span. Unfortunately I did not take a 'before' picture but the 'after' picture is great. I highly recommend this service. read more

Salinas Tree Service - Ficus tree after A Salinas Tree Service trimmed it. - Tree Services Near Me - Camarillo, California

Salinas tree service is the first company I think if when it comes to my tree trimming needs. They are respectful and do the job the right way every time. They are reasonable in their pricing and they are honest and stand by their work. I've used these guys 3 different times for huge tree lacing jobs and they always look fantastic. As far as them being too busy and asking a customer to call another company. Well, that's happens when you are the best around...you stay busy...and sometimes it's best just to tell a customer that you are too busy for the job right now. I'd highly recommend these guys for ANY tree service. read more

I had a quick response from the owner of Salinas Tree Service. I thought he was a different Salinas Tree Service but apparently not. He had an excellent crew to take down my huge pine tree but he left a big stump that was supposed to be leveled off. It wasn't. It cost $3200 but when I asked him for a receipt he told me he didn't write or speak English and he didn't have any receipts. At one point he wanted to take down a good chunk of my nice fence around the house so he wouldn't have to lug the wood pieces out of my gate (an extra 10 feet or so). I agreed but only if he could put the fence back because it was exactly and he said that would be my job. Very non-compliant and set in his ways. The place was left a mess! In some areas that was 6 inches or so of sawdust. dealing with him was a huge headache. I would never recommend him. his first name starts with an A. and is difficult to pronounce. read more

Highly recommend Salinas Tree service! We had a massive umbrella tree in our yard and they came and trimmed it down. Everyone was very professional, friendly and fast! And their prices were great. We will definitely call them in the future for any projects going forward. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

Salinas always does a great job for me and their prices are very fair and competitive. Highly recommended!

I got 5 bids from all around town. They were by far the lowest! Removed 7 trees from back yard, ground stumps, cleaned up. Had a crew of 6. Entire job took them 4 hours - amazing. He is very busy, so you may have to be flexible in scheduling. I highly recommend Salinas! He saved us a ton of $$$. read more

We had Salinas Tree Service remove 6 very large palm trees and 3 good sized palms. They did a great job! They were able to come give me a bid the day I called them. They showed up on time, dropped all our trees and left the yard cleaner then when they arrived. 2 of our palms leaned over our roof line. The other companies I got bids from where concerned about causing damage because of the location and were considerably more expensive. Couldn't have been happier with the work we had done and will definitely use them again. read more

I hired Salinas Tree Service to take out a 45 foot Tipu tree and remove/grind down the stump as well as taking out many shrubs and trimming many others -- it was a big job. The price was low, but you het what you pay for. No regard for either my yard or the work they were doing. Complete butcher job.

We just moved to a new house a few weeks ago. We have 2.5 palm trees on our property. I looked out the window this morning and saw a guy hanging from the top of a neighbor's palm tree trimming off the messy looking fronds. I went out to see who was doing the job, ask how much, etc. I found out from another neighbor that [Jorge and companyh] Salinas as been trimming the trees on this block for years. I spoke to Jorge, and his price seemed competitive for the work; so, I asked him to trim ours as well. Jorge was polite as could be and very professional. He was on the job with at least 3-4 other workers. Two were spotters, keeping everyone back from the falling fronds and they all performed the cleanup of debris. Jorge was receiving calls while he worked from customers in other areas asking for estimates. It appears that Salinas is busy and in demand. I was very happy with their work and will use them again. read more

Atanasio is very knowledgable about trees (answered all my questions) and I enjoyed working with him as he responded to phone calls quickly, showed up on time both days, took my input and with his supervision, his 5 person crew really improved our backyard. He took out one problem tree and trimmed over a dozen medium sized trees. Love the airy feeling of the resulting trimmed trees! read more

Atansio Salinas is easy to work with. He came on time to look at the large job on our half acre, hillside lot. I told him what I wanted done and he walked the entire property twice sizing up the job. Then he told me, "you didn't mention this tree and that overgrowth, but I know you want to have everything done, right?" I said yes. He provided the best bid, lower than 3 others. He's passionate about what he does, in fact I would call him an artist. He has a very critical eye and strives to create beauty with how each tree or shrub is trimmed. He convinced me to keep some of the trees I wanted to remove. He was right again. When he and his crew had finished, they transformed 16 years of overgrowth into a thing of beauty. Pulling up in front of my house puts a smile on my face the way things look now. Everything was artfully trimmed. What they did was the equivilant of a great haircut. My neighbor was so impressed he too hired Atanasio to do his yard. They did a great job of cleaning up the hillsides and rest of the lot. He's the first guy I'll call, the next time I need my trees trimmed. read more

I had two trees and stumps removed, and one tree trimmed. They did an excellent job. Mr. Salinas answered the phone at 6:30 p.m., came to look at the trees at 7 a.m., and did the work that afternoon with his very professional crew. The trees and stumps were completely removed with little disturbance to the ground around them. The trimming for the other tree was done carefully and preserved the shape of the tree. All of the tree waste was removed from my yard and everything was well cleaned up. Even the walkway was swept. read more

We called Salinas Tree Services to come TRIM a Queen Palm that had branches that were growing into a power line. We needed someone on short notice on Saturday and Atanasio Salinas was told to trim the branches to a specific point. Unfortunately him and his crew didn't trim the branches but instead did a hack job and butchered our 10 plus yr old beautiful Queen Palm. I would NOT recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy! read more

I've used this company twice to prune our 5 tall queen palms in the back yard. They have done a great job both times and I feel their pricing is fair. We also had him prune two trees in our front yard that were blocking our view. When I told him that I kept having our gardener top the trees so we could see the view from our house he explained that this was the wrong way to go about this. He suggested letting the trees grow taller and prune/thin them out underneath the top so that we don't have to keep topping them. This was the perfect suggestion and it worked well. read more

I used Salinas Tree Service to prune 20+ liquid amber trees, take down a significant portion of a pepper tree, and a multitude of other odds and ends last week (February 2017). First time I used Atanasio, owner of Salinas Tree Service. I could not be more thrilled. Atanasio is incredibly knowledgeable about landscaping and explained what was happening and why with the grass and damaged trees. The trees now look better than any other time I have ever had them trimmed. The guys were all hard-working and polite. They left my yard immaculate. I have already referred them to someone who does property management and a former neighbor in Woodland Hills. I could not be happier. If I could give the company more stars, I would. read more
