    Update: THANK YOU MARIAH! For taking care of my issue without any hassle and treating me like a human. Also thank you for explaining the issue clearly. It really was a simple fix that I could have easily waited on if that were the way it was told to me from the beginning! I still advise working on the communication process between the company and the drivers. We matter just as much as the customers. Why because we're customers and so are you, when we're not at work! We can be your biggest advocates or your biggest headaches. Drivers let's be patient they're growing and figuring it out! - - - - - - - - - - - - - Original: Customers should READ THE DRIVER REVIEWS! This is how they treat the people that deliver the service you want. I WOULD NOT BE WRITING THIS IF I DIDN'T read all the other driver reviews and forums online about CURRI. I am a patient person and tend to be very amicable and long as expectations that are set are also MET! I was so excited to sign up to DRIVE for this company. Just be let down in the absolute worst way. I am currently stuck in the middle of nowhere. 600 MILES AWAY from where I started. WITHOUT PAY!!!I cannot get in contact with anyone unless I call in from a different phone and pretend to be a customer. THERE IS NO SUPPORT AND THE "DISPATCH" speaks to you as if you are bothering them. They told me that for support to use the in app chat and all I receive is automated responses from BOTS. I'm a consumer just like everyone else but I would never do business with a company that treats its SERVICE PROVIDERS LIKE THIS!!! This is absolutely deplorable! And I will use the full brevity of my social media influence WHICH IS HUGE! To bring light to the business practices of CURRI. This is dangerous, taxing and essential work. AS A DRIVER I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS IN THIS BUSINESS. I am beyond disappointed in my experience. You have know idea the anxiety that comes along being a BLACK MAN stuck in rural small towns in the middle of the NIGHT. This is DEPLORABLE. Crazy part I could deal with a mishap or a glitch, that can be corrected run my own companies. Things happen...It's the way I was treated a the communication I received in response. Fix this CURRI. This has potential but treat your front line l like this can really backfire. FIX THIS and I'll fix this review. Respectfully

    Curri is terrible to their drivers. Low pay, no support, impossible to contact. If I could give 0 stars I would.

    Terrible service can't talk to anybody and I drive for them. Take all day and sometimes days to get a payout just bad business

All the other quotes I got were way too expensive to consider, but the Dudes saved me! Very reasonably-priced, friendly, easy to work with. Their service doesn't come with all the bells and whistles that more expensive moving companies have, it's more like having a buddy or two (or more) come help you move - or just completely take care of things for you while you sit on the sidelines. But that's exactly what I needed, and I will definitely be calling on their help again!

But I was still charged for his time! Then they ended up racing through our job and damaged several pieces of furniture. When I pointed out an obvious scratch and chip in the finish on my dining room table, they started making all sorts of excuses about how they didn't do it but it was obvious they did. I had eaten breakfast at that table that morning and it was perfect. They then continued to complain about how they didn't do the damage the rest of the time instead of focusing on the job. As we are moving boxes and unpacking, we have discovered multiple pieces of furniture that have been damaged and marred by their carelessness, including an irreplaceable dresser I inherited from my grandfather. We will never use this service again. We wish we had paid more and gotten real, responsible movers! We have continued to find damage as we unpack. These guys damaged almost every piece of furniture they touched. There are also gouges in our freshly painted walls. Help ignored our emails reporting this. We Look elsewhere!

    All I can say is Wow and a big thank you to Burt and Patrick. I called on Friday afternoon for my…read moredaughter who attends Cal Poly. Securing her first apartment with friends, she was told that Friday that she had to pick up her apartment key because the property management firm was not open. That would have been fine had we not been in San Diego! After calling a notary from Yelp (who didn't get back to me), I tried Central. I initially called and spoke with Patrick and told him our situation...we needed someone to pick up the key from the property management office and then hold it for us to pick up on Saturday. After explaining what we were hoping to do, he said "sure thing we can do that." He referred me to Burt who was closer to SLO and I called and explained the situation to him. Even though this was a weird ask for a courier, both Burt and Patrick never made me feel like the job was too petty or small and, in fact, in a refreshingly human way, they responded that they could help. I paid Patrick at 1:00, texted Burt the firm's information, and by 2:00 he had picked up the key with the info (the firm closed at 4:00)! Burt told me to text him the next day (again a Saturday) when we were in Buellton. After stopping at Pea Soup Anderson's for lunch, I texted Burt to let him know we we're leaving. I hadn't checked my phone messages on the drive to Napomo (where Burt's office was) and all the way there I kept thinking will he be there. The entire situation was based on mutual trust. As we got to the office, I saw only one door wide open and there was Burt sitting at the desk. He looked at my daughter and said here's your key and a form you need to fill out with a big smile like a dad helping out. It was AWESOME!!! When I looked at my phone, there was Burt's text saying he was on his way. Thank you Burt and Patrick, you literally saved the day. If you are interested in actually working with human beings that are willing to help you find solutions to the crazy things that life brings, call them! Burt and Patrick you should think about advertising with Cal Poly SLO somehow...we can't be the only family that would have been locked out during move in.
