Had my transmission replaced here after all the transmission fluid leaked out of my original. It took a while for the new transmission to get in but the staff was upfront about the time frame and kept me updated through the entire process. Once the transmission was received they got it hooked up and the car completed within 3 days. They were also very flexible with when I could pick up my car and offered to fix other things that were found during disassembly which saved on labor cost. Overall very satisfied! read more

Most shops will get a five star rating if the have clean facilities, provide courteous customer service, and complete the work on time and within budget. However, I think it is actually more important to rate them on how they stand behind their work. In February they replaced my clutch and left CV Joint Assembly on my 2003 Tiburon. Two days later, I left on a 1,400 mile trip to Wilmington, NC. While there, the left axle seal started leaking. I called Certified in Omaha and they gave me the name of a shop ( Pro-Built Transmission ) in Wilmington. Based on their recommendation, I felt comfortable dropping my car off at a strange shop in a strange city. The seal was replaced and when I returned, Certified reimbursed me for my expense. Simply put, they do good work, have a great warranty and most importantly they stand by their work. read more

Initial review: Fixed my clutch and did it under the price google showed with a premium clutch and master cylinder. Had problems with my bank freezing up the money I needed for repairs, but they got me financing in a few minutes! Leaving in confidence! Thank you Certified Update: after pulling off the lot I did notice a strange clicking sound, they closed in a few hours for the weekend so I figured I'd take a look at home and give it through the weekend before I take it back. Long story short, the passenger lower control arm came completely loose, I had to tow the car back to Certified. They apologized and took care of all the repairs! I am so surprised at the integrity of this shop! They stand behind their work, and really own up! I strongly suggest this shop! My car had a little bit different of way to replace the clutch than other cars by just a small step that may have been overlooked, either way, they took care of everything and were very nice and understanding. They have good response buy their work not so great recently had a transmission replacement etc and they ruined one of my rims they overnighted it and made 5 drilled holes into my rim they also unbalanced my tire as well! And they are also quite pricey wouldn't recommend their work. read more

Best service I have received in years. Certified Transmission just installed a new MTS transmission in my Dodge RAM 3500. I purchased the rebuilt transmission from MTS in Omaha and Steve set me up with Mike the local manager to install the unit. I scheduled ahead, and checked in with Mike while driving in from California. I dropped my truck off at 7:45 am and had it back by 1:00 with everything completed as promised. Great place. Had my sons car here several months ago. They did a great job working with us. Determined our transmission problem was actually electrical. Replaced wiring and wiring harnesses. They were able to grab all parts out of a salvage yard. Car still working great and spent less than $400. Highly recommend this place!! read more

We have a handicap van that was having issues. We took it to one mechanic shop, but their solution didn't fix the problem. So we took it to Baxter Dodge dealership. They "fixed" three different things, but after a total of $2,400 (total from both shops), the problem still wasn't fixed. Years ago we had our transmission replaced by Certified Transmission and were very happy with their service, so we called them. Mike (the mgr) told me he had a few ideas and to bring it in. They were busy but they worked us in because Mike knew we needed our van. They were very thorough in identifying the problem. The first day we got more info on the problem than we did from the other 2 shops. Well they figured out the problem and it has worked great ever since, all for only $600. Mike was modest and told us that it was a hard problem to diagnose, but they had it complete in about 3 days (even with ordering a part). Would highly recommend them!! read more

Well I have been using Certified for years, but recently I was disappointed in there service at this location. I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with 217,000 miles. In November of 2011 The Sun shell went out after 166,000 miles knew this part had a high failure rate. I had Certified go ahead and replace the transmission with a rebuilt one. Gage who was the manager at the time said they rebuild them with the new style and I should not have any problems. One note I towed a camper and wave runner trailers during this time. Then in October of this year I was driving the vehicle and went to pass someone and the same thing happened again. I knew exactly what happened. Current mileage then was 216,000 (51,000 on the rebuilt transmission and I had not towed anything since the transmission was replaced. SO I called the store and asked if there was anything they could do to help me. I didn't need to replace it just fix it. Mike and LJ said they would contact Pete and ask them since I had done business with them for a long time. Three days later Mike called me back and said they could give me 10% off a rebuilt unit again I asked him was there another option and Mike said no. Then he said so do you want to bring it over tomorrow and we can replace it for you. I told him I would think about it. I went down to MCC college and talked to the instructors and they said if you remove it we can replace what is broken. So I did that and found out the Sun Shell was not the up graded unit. I also had found out while waiting for the school to fix it and talking to other shops that I know and had worked for in the past that when ever they have had a problem they where usually given 25% on a new unit or given the suggestion to go to Transmissions Incorporated and they would fix what was broken.
