Valet allowed the side of my car to kiss a yellow pole. We took our car to Dingman's for a number of reasons. The first is that Dingman's is a preferred provider by the insurance company. Most importantly is that they've done work for us before and have done a spectacular job. Again, they did not disappoint. They have been active for many years and ever recognized by their customers and peers many times, including Small a Business of the Month. Due to hidden damage and getting additional parts, the repair took just a little longer than originally anticipated. Hail damage, requested a quote for insurance. said 2 months before the would even look at my car. bull shit.

They did a horrible job. Had 3 chances to fix my truck. When I went to pick it up after they fixed it, there were scratches that they had put on it. After picking it up the second time, there were still dings in the door that they had missed. After picking it up again, there is over spray on the fender that is clearly noticeable. I have unfortunately had to be here twice now, most recently for getting rear-ended on the interstate. I would recommend this Dingmans to literally anyone as I have been very impressed with the service here. Both times they dealt with the other person's insurance for me (since neither accident was my fault). This time was particularly excellent as the insurance company wasn't straight forward and my car required significantly more repair than initially anticipated. They had a rental car lined up for me when I dropped my car off, kept us in the loop about the repairs and the additional time they needed to complete them, and my car was literally cleaner when I picked it up than when I bought it (used). No lie. The interior of my car was spotless and all the repairs were on the rear bumper/door. I highly highly recommend this place! read more

The ABS and Traction Control lights popped on in my car. I called Dingman's to see if it might be related to the accident they helped me with a month back. Turns out it wasn't, but Shawn (at the 144th St location) was so kind and helpful. He tested the car, educated me about it, and even suggested how to mitigate the problem. Don't believe the marketing hype. I opted for them over another 4+ rated body repair company and scheduled my truck for repair for six weeks down the road. There original estimate was more than my first and then they called and said it would be even more expensive. Repair took 3 weeks - more than twice as long as my original estimate. They didn't replace my roof as I was told and the reason was because I needed it back before they could do that. BTW - final charge was $6000 as opposed to my original estimate of $4000. read more

Very overpriced. I had a very minor scratch and they quoted $1,100. I then went to two other places and both were between $500-$600.

I missed my first appointment for an estimate and a week later I called and asked if I could just stop in and they were very nice and accommodating. While there I was treated to excellent customer service, got a repair date within 3 days. They took care of all the paperwork with the insurance company, arranged my rental car, and kept me informed every other day on the progress. My car was done in 4 days, a week sooner than expected! I hope I don't need their services again but if so there's no where else I'd go! Oh yea, my car was so clean inside and out when I picked it up! read more

I recently had my car serviced at Dingmans on 144th St. the service was very professional and they have an on site rental car company. The shop is spotless and all employees were kind and very helpful. I showed up a few minutes from closing to get my car and they still took the time to wash my car inside and out. This place is beyond horrible. I took my car there because I had some extensive hail damage and the y told me to come get an estimate. The receptionist was very rude (an older lady with brown hair at the Saddle Creek location), and the estimator who examined my car told me that it would take 7-9 business days to complete. Then I went inside to see when I could get it in and they told 3-4 weeks at a minimum; I'm wondering why they even told me to come down there in the first place. Who has that kind of time to wait around for their car to be fixed? I took it to a different body shop and it was done within four days. Dingman's is a terrible business and if you value you time, do not go there. They surely don't. read more

Took my vehicle back to this body shop to repair a spot they worked on a few years back, it started to rust. I attempted to get this resolved and touched up, but they would not back up there work for the life of my vehicle like they promise on their commercials. The customer service was terrible and no one could make a big boy decision if they could fix it, and left me hanging for a few weeks. The takeaway is I didn't get treated like a customer, but as a hassle to their busy shop. I will never take a car for repair here again. Terrible customer service. Took my car in for an estimate, they took pictures said it was going to be a certain price. Everything up to then was fair... But when I actually took the car in to be repaired, they called me back the next day saying that they had already started working on it, but that it was going to be several hundred dollars more. I feel like it was very unprofessional the way they handled their business and the man who called me back on the phone was very rude about the entire situation and treated me like a second class customer. When I told them I was going to write this review and take the car down the street to another shop they immediately changed their minds and tried getting us to keep the car with them. A couple of years ago, my insurance company assessed the hail damage to my Eclipse and cut me a check. Having heard "Dingman's this" and "Dingman's that" and the "Best of Omaha" stuff I figured I'd take it there. Went into the Saddle Creek location and the woman at the desk first looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my head then asked with an annoyed tone if I "needed something?" I said I had a vehicle with hail damage and would like to get it fixed. Annoyed, she then said "has your insurance company contacted us?" I said "no." She said "Well, usually we hear from your insurance company first..." I cut her off by saying "thank you" and walked out. Took my car somewhere else. Got great service. Car looked great when they were done and I will never bother Dingman's again. Now, I've got an F-150 that someone backed into, but don't worry Dingman's, I won't burden you with a dummy like me walking in the front door looking to do business. read more
