I was able to walk around and given the keys to look at the vehicles I was interested in without having someone stand down my neck lol. Anytime I wanted to see a different vehicle just swapped keys. I reached out on Monday and found the car I wanted by Tuesday. They texted back saying "great," so I called and spoke with Du. He confirmed the car was available and advised me to submit an application. On Wednesday, after careful consideration (I'm a branch manager with over 20 years of experience, and I don't take applying for credit lightly), I called again and spoke with Scott. I told him I wanted a low interest rate and planned to go through my credit union, SF Fire. He persuaded me instead to apply through CUDL, their financial program, which also included my credit union as an option. I submitted my application online with all my personal financial information and the VIN number of the specific car I wanted. I was approved with two credit offers, and when I asked for a better rate, they even provided one. I told them I needed to think overnight about which rate best fit my budget. That same evening, I texted to ask for the total price of the car. No response. The next morning at 11:07 a.m., I texted again, saying I'd be coming by after work to complete the deal. Still, no reply. When I finally called, they told me they had already sold the car to someone else--a veteran and his wife. They apologized repeatedly, but this was unacceptable. How do you encourage someone to apply for financing on a specific vehicle, then sell that same vehicle without so much as a courtesy call? Not only did this waste my time, but it also resulted in an unnecessary credit pull that lowered my score. This kind of practice is not professional or respectful of customers. I am very pleased to recommend Century Auto. I was looking for an affordable late model EV to replace our Prius. I searched on Carfax and I saw they had several late model, Chevy Equinoxes in the low 20k range and they look brand new! I thought it was too good to be true, we went over there and Scott, the owner, handed my family the keys so we could test drive by ourselves. Its a small thing, but that demonstration of trust really went both ways. I never felt like I was being upsold or pressured, the whole staff are genuine and were very open. I even was on the fence about trading in versus selling our used car since hybrids are still selling for above average right now. Century auto offered the top end of the fair value range we were getting from other dealers and that sealed the deal. We were able to complete the whole process from test drive, paperwork, trade in to leaving in, probably under 2 hours though I am not positive. Also, I was set on using our local credit union for the loan and they work with them and many other lenders, they matched the rate I was getting from the Credit Union earlier, so there was no reason to jump through more hoops. 10/10 in every aspect! I found this car through a listing on CarGurus.com which redirected me to Century Auto! CarGurus let me know that Century would reach out to me asap, and they really did!! I submitted an interest for this car at around 5:55PM yesterday, and got a response back at 9:45PM the SAME night! Scott emailed me with some appointment times to come check out the car and I let them know I'd be able to come the next day! Scott replied the next morning to confirm our appointment with them and was super responsive. This place is a smaller dealership but their inventory is packed with really nice cars! Porsches to M3s to G Wagons and more! We were greeted by a nice staff member who let us know Scott was busy, but he offered us to some complimentsry drinks (water, coffee, juice etc) and also struck up some great conversation. BUYER BEWARE, this is a very shady dealership. My wife and I took a look at an Audi Q7 on the lot which was advertised on their website as "Absolutely perfect condition inside and out!" While he was pulling the car out of the parking lot he hit a red mini cooper that was also for sale. He just said "oops" which was strange. During the test drive the oil change maintenance light came on and the car was making a strange noise when accelerating. I bought a mechanic to look at it and the car had at least 10 different fault codes. There are codes for the supercharger clutch stuck open, air shutter stuck, airbag fault, seat belt codes and at least 5 different codes concerning electrical issues. I let the sales rep "manny" know. He told me the oil change was done but the shop forgot to reset the light. He couldn't comment on the noise or all the electrical issues but said he would have audi of San Fransisco look at it. We went home and texted him for updates from the dealer. He said that there's no update yet and he'll let me know. After about a week he said the audi dealer didn't cover any of the repairs needed. I had the mechanic who did the inspection provide me with an estimate on repairs(totaled over $5k). I send it over to the sales rep and made him a fair offer for the car as is. I made my offer based on the mechanical issues and also the additional options that were advertised that are not included(rear seat entertainment, paint chipping with scratches on rear bumper, faded steering wheel, air intake filter looks like it's never been changed) The sales rep read but completely ignored my text so I called the owner Scott the next day. He told me the oil change was never done and that the car was never taken to the Audi dealer, So manny flat out lied to me. I also told him about the issues and he started making fun of my mechanic denying any issues(looks like the shop he takes his cars to cleared the codes to mask the issues. luckily for me the car was driven enough for the codes to come back) I told him I was willing to buy the car for $2k less than asking price and he said he doesn't care if the car needs 5k worth of repairs it's not gonna happen. Looks like he's waiting for an unsuspecting buyer that won't notice or find any issues. This is a very dishonest and unethical dealership and I'm going to be reporting them to the proper agencies for advertising this car(knowing there's issues) as perfect condition. read more

Can I give 0 stars?? This is the SHADIEST dealership ever. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. I feel compelled to share my absolute horror show of an experience. Buckle up because this ride was wild. So, we're eyeing this Audi Q7, right? Manny, the sales guy, decides to entertain us with a live action drama. Picture this: he attempts to maneuver the car, crashes into a Mini Cooper, forgets the e-brake, and smashes the Audi into the Mini again. Total chaos, but he goes, "Oops." Cue laughter, but also, not cool. Result? A lovely scratch on the Audi's bumper. Classy start, isn't it? And he walks away like nothing ever happened. WTH. lol (I really wish we caught it on camera and would have love to post it on TikTok. ) Test driving the car was like diving into a symphony of weird noises. We tried explaining this to Manny, who seemed to be on another planet, claiming he couldn't hear a thing. Dude, I'm in the back seat, and even I can hear it! Turns out, Manny's clueless about cars - not the best quality for a car salesperson. Anyways that guy is CLUELESS about cars. We had our mechanic look at the car and he brought a scanner to check any codes. Anyways a bunch of codes came up and we let manny know. Long story short manny said he would take the car to the Audi dealership and after a week of us trying to follow-up with him he tells us Audi won't cover anything. Sounded fishy. I knew these cheap people won't pay to take the car to the dealership. So we called the Audi dealership, gave them VIN number and they have no record of the car being there. Now, onto Scott (the owner). The maestro of zero customer service. He admitted there was no oil change done on the car, after manny said "their mechanic did an oil change" also the car was never taken to Audi like Manny said. Oh and also they are aware of the car having all these issues. We have proof via text. They also advertise the car with a media package which it does not have. We were telling Scott this all on the phone and he literally just hung up on us. We definitely will be reporting them to every place necessary. Negotiations? A labyrinth, with a $27k listing and our $25k offer amidst the chaos. Translation: They're after buyers who don't know a lug nut from a lemon. My advice? If you're even thinking about this place, document EVERYTHING - convos, pics, texts. There's probably a fan club out there ready to hit them with a lawsuit. Consider yourself warned. read more

I just purchased a Tesla from Century and the service they provided was definitely far better than some of the other dealers we went to. We took about 3 trips to this dealer to finally make a deal, and we definitely appreciated their no haggle pricing. At first the car had a warning, but Manny quickly took care of that by bringing it to Tesla directly (which I verified), and everything else with the car was in a "like new" condition. So we have been shopping for a while for a car. We found a couple that were mostly what we wanted and needed. Then we found the ONE on line at century auto. So we went to see it right away. Everything was perfect, but no ac. Of course we went to drive it on the only hot day in Daly City. But it was a good thing we did. As soon as we got back. We said we loved it, but the ac didn't work. Scott immediately sent it to get the ac recharged. We went and ate some great food and came back to make a deal. We also had a trade in, while we were shopping we had gone to CarMax and they gave us a great quote for our car, Scott was able to match that quote and we made the deal and drove home happy!!! If you know anything and point it out they start arguing with you.
