This is definitely my go to shop for auto body repair work! I found this shop via yelp and after reading all the great reviews from previous customers, I decided to stop by for a quote. As everyone else has already mentioned, Natalie and Gerardo were just as nice and pleasant to work with. Natalie is very friendly and knowledgeable in the field. She communicates well and keeps you informed of any updates. She said the car would be done in 3 days and it was!!! They do great work with great pricing compared to other shops in the area. They are very honest and DO NOT try to say that your vehicle has more damage than it actually does simply to increase the bill. Gerardo even touched up all the little spots around the vehicle with the left over paint that needed fixing free of charge!!! I also had their paintless dent repair person pull out several dents around the vehicle. He did an EXCELLENT job! I had a dent on the trunk lid right where the top bends downward that I didn't think he would be able to work out completely. Boy was I wrong. This place is the best! Trust me, we went to another place first for a quote. The "other place" was recommended by AAA off Larch rd. Our bumper was hit, and the inside hatch door had a crack in the corner. It was a pressure point. You CANT bondo pressure points, they will just keep splitting! The "other place" gave us a quote to bondo and paint half the bumper. I explained that the pressure point would keep splitting. Was told "don't worry, if it does THEN AAA will give you a new bumper". Hmmm...sounds like my insurance would be paying twice! So that's when we came to Central Valley Collision. Wow, what a difference! Natalie was awesome, friendly and thorough. CVC already knew you couldn't fix a pressure point. We didn't even have to tell them this. Natalie said they would contact AAA with pictures and their estimate and info on the pressure point being cracked. Guess what ?!?! Central Valley Collision got us a brand new bumper put on for almost THE SAME PRICE as the repair shop on Larch road that wanted to bondo it!! AAA agreed on the pressure point crack. That week I was in for surgery, so when I got my car back it looked freaking awesome! Matched perfectly, and the whole car was detailed inside and out! They even offered to bring me my car (I couldn't drive due to surgery) I won't go to another place again. Get quotes people! Just because AAA recommends a place, go other places! I had an accident in my car and I was looking around for a place to get my car fixed. This place by far is the best hands down! I work in the bay area but live in Tracy, he wanted my car on a Monday morning first thing but since I leave at 4am that was a bit early for him so I was able to drop off my car Saturday afternoon. They started my car on Monday and I had it back on Thursday and it was looking like brand new! I think they did a great job for only having the car for 4 days. If your looking for a quality job and friendly staff this is the place. I will use them again and again but hopefully I won't need to fix my car again! Hahahaha read more

Took a car there for a potential client and the owner has no clue what he is talking about. The only jobs he does is insurance jobs and bumpers and fenders. He's a joke. Don't represent yourself as a body guy or a car restoration. Your an embarrassment to the restoration car industry. If I could give you a zero star I would. So next time a customer calls for you to check out a classic car don't waste their money. Let them know you don't know the difference between surface rust and rust. I LOVE THIS SHOP! I am very pleased with the work I had done on my car and it looks amazing! I had my car hit and I went to various shops for an estimate. They were by far the most affordable and they explained everything in detail that they were going to do. They inform you of all the information you need to know right from the beginning and explain their lifetime warranty. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable which was evident throughout the entire process! My car was repaired in 5 business days, and it looks great! They did an amazing job with not only the repairs but the paint job. They also detailed the inside of my car to make sure I was happy with the ENTIRE car when I left. They asked for me to come back in 30 days to have the car waxed free of charge! Now thats customer service! I had been involved in a rear end accident last year an had problems with the first initial individual that was meant to fix my car an the work never got done completely. I was looking up shops in the area an came across this one an stopped by to check them out. Gerardo took his time assessing my vehicle and gave me his honest opinion on what he could do, an even the woman working the front desk was also very helpful an took her time speaking with me as well. I thought it Over , knowing that was where I wanted to go; so when I returned and was able to get my vehicle fixed I saved soooo much more money than I expected and my car was ready in a day 1/2! I have a Ford Escape that is used primarily for commuting to the Bay Area that needed repairs. The owner gave me a very reasonable estimate which came in better than 2 other collision centers in the area. It refreshing to deal with a business that sticks by their word! After dropping it off in the morning, i stated I needed the car back that evening. One of the parts ordered was slightly off and would have jeopardized the timeline. The owner drove all the way to Hayward in Rush Hour Traffic to retrieve the part to meet my deadline!!! then they stayed till 9 pm to complete the job! Not many businesses would go the Extra Mlle to meet a deadline. The work was very good and would recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I had some deep scratches with chipped off paint on one side of my bumper after someone sideswiped me. I own a newer model black Tahoe and I was prepared to pay hundreds of dollars to get my bumper fixed and make it look new again. I spoke to Gerardo and he gave me the option to fix my whole bumper for hundreds of dollars (which would make it look brand new) OR sand down/ polish etc. the damaged area ONLY for $50. He assured me if I went the cheaper route the damages would still be visible but not too visible. Gerardo said he could work on it (the cheaper way first). If I was not happy with the results I had the option to have the whole bumper done. He would then credit me the $50 and apply it to the price it would take to work on the whole bumper (to make it look new again). I obviously took the cheaper route first and I'm glad I did. The damage is still a little visible (like he said it would be) if you really focus on the damaged area otherwise it still looks new (and I'm pretty picky about things). It really was the most logical thing to do after seeing the results of the repairs. I thank Gerardo for his honesty and good work ethics. He could have easily encouraged me to go the expensive route but instead he was truthful about how to fix the problem and gave me options. The place had good energy and his wife who was working the office at the time was pleasant to talk to as well while I waited with my infant baby. I highly recommend this place if you want an honest quote (hence previous reviews). read more

Where other places gave me MUCH higher quotes or weren't even willing to entertain the idea of an "easy fix," (no I'm not going to replace and repaint the entire section) the fellow I worked with was honest and delivered excellent results. He even recommended a cheaper place to get a paint job since I just wanted a small area touched up on the roof and I didn't need high quality paint for that. (Same place as I was thinking of going anyways, so his advice was legit.) read more

When I was looking for a body shop to repair my car, I visited several with the same ole, same ole. THEN there was Gerardo the owner at CVCC. He greeted me with a smile and we went to view the damages. Gerardo offered several solutions, and advised me that he would call me with the quote, (I thought for sure I should brace myself or he wouldn't call like several others as this is an 14 year old vehicle). That afternoon he called and I was surprised at the detail, the cost, the completion date and LIFETIME warranty.
