My son was T-Boned so he was in need of Auto Body repair. My usual repair shop was under new management and reviews were awful. Found Collision King online and reviews were very positive. Unlike the 1st shop, I saw that it was NOT all about the money. They were patient, kind and honest. The owner made a suggestion for the repair that save me hundreds, if not a thousand dollars. He not only made a suggestion, but emailed a link with the information I needed. I'm addition, he took time and did some minor work on my car himself free of charge. The work was amazing! Unfortunately we crossed paths due to an accident The good thing was that no one was severely hurt. I had my first conversation with Morgan on a Friday evening right before they were about to close, what I appreciate most was I didn't feel rushed, and she took her time to explain everything to me. My car was supposed to be dropped off the following Monday unfortunately my car didn't make it until a week and a half later, in which I would've never known if it wasn't for the auto body shop keeping consistent contact with me. To be honest any type of communication with my insurance was a straight shit show, and that's me Being honest, information was either unknown or inaccurate if it wasn't for collision King I wouldn't of made it though mentally, because my insurance told me NOTHING. I've never been in an accident so I didn't know what to expect step-by-step and again collision king stepped in to Explain how this works, and for that I'm beyond grateful because I know they didn't have to. Sad to say that I had to search for a body shop to begin with but relieved these yelp ratings proved to be reliable! I was rear ended on the freeway (while I was stopped) and my poor car took a good crunching. I turned to yelp as usual and here we are. Collision King was quick to respond to my inquiry and didn't mind me sending my husband as the point person to handle all my car things. My husband got good vibes after the initial consultation/quote so we went ahead and booked. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and thorough in answering our questions during the whole process. The time it took was longer than initially quoted but not by much. The shop maintained communication to let us know what step they were on and really we appreciated that the shop was careful to get the job done rather than acting in haste and risking a mistake. The end result: my car was good as new and detailed upon pick up! couldn't even tell what happened and bonus that the interior was clean. I can't tell you what a relief it was to have my car back and even more of a relief that it came out looking like it did! I would recommend Collision King to everyone. I decided to take my 2020 Mini Cooper to Collision King based on reviews that I read here on Yelp. Thank-you to those who helped me to make a great decision!! My car had two issues, front and rear. I t-boned a 'red light running' Prius in an intersection and also somehow wound up with sprayed white paint on the rear of my car (both within a week). Collision King did an amazing job! My car looks beautiful! No trace of previous damages and the paint matches perfectly and I love how new and gorgeous my car looks! A boating place hours from my home had a bad gate. It kept falling down. On my way out it slammed on my new 4Runner. They sent me the video as it scraped the paint off the hood, broke the light cover, and then the gate broke in 1/2 slamming into the side all the way down. The facility sent me the video and admitted it was their fault. It took me threatening them with police to get someone to call me. Then to get it fixed they didn't respond to calls and texts and emails. We called around for a great repair shop. Tracy Toyota recommended them. We take all our Toyotas there. When things got bad with the facility Collision King kept working on getting the insurance. They never let up. Neither did we but it was awesome that they cared. Finally the facility sent a check to get the vehicle fixed. They picked me up when it was ready. When I saw my 4Runner it looked perfectly brand new again!!!! Everything was amazing. I will always recommend them and if anything happens to any of our vehicles we will always go to Collision King. They let us know the progress as well. They are just amazing. No doubt, these are the friendliest people. However, ever time I look at my car while the sun is shining on it I get upset. My new car was hit on the Rt side fender, which also resulted in slight additional damage to the hood. The paint colors do not match. I understand that there is always going to be a slight difference, but this is a big one. My car is a grey green in the sun or shade. The hood, Rt fender and passanger door door are now a yellow green in the sun - no hint of the gray. I think it's horrible. Also when I got my car back, I noticed polishing "scribbles" all over the front and sides which did not wash off. Chris took my car back in and fixed that for me but there is still one left. This was a new car - which is why I'm so picky - I just get upset everytime I see the sunshine highlighting the difference. 9-18-22 Updating my original review from August. Very great service and they don't charge extra. I got into an accident. My bumper was damaged. However, I only had enough money to pay for the mechanical issues and I didn't go through insurance. Chris had my tie rod replaced and wheel aligned for a good price. He didn't charge me for taking it to a different shop. He even repaired my dent on the car, with no charge. Collision King is solid. No one else would take the job, as a ball joint snapped and all my suspension and steering was destroyed plus body damage. Others said the steering needs programming and they couldn't do the job. Collision King got me the steering gear (a $1500 part) for free with a knee assembly. They got me all the parts used, as approved, and saved me more than double the estimate of others. Everything runs smooth like brand new. These guys have magical powers and I am now a lifetime client.
