Our spring broke and JR was able to come out the same day and not only replace our spring but also fixed a few other issues without charging us anymore than what he quoted us over the phone. He had the best price and he still went above and beyond and was very fast with his work. Would definitely recommend him to everyone. read more

JR was quick to answer the phone, check his inventory, and arrive and fix our broken springs within the same day. Great attitude - went above and beyond to check the lighting settings, grease the door rails, check and adjust the wires' tension, add missing screws to the doors, and add an electrical wiring harness to the door opener. Highly recommend. read more

Junior and his team did an amazing job. A car had accidentally backed into my previous garage door on 12/30 and I needed it replaced before 1/3. I called multiple contractors and this company was the only one with the product in stock and able to get the job done on a drop of a dime. Can't express how grateful I am for this to be completed and it looks great. Definitely a well needed upgrade to the house. Will be calling Junior next time I need a garage door service. read more

I needed a new garage door and Junior came within the day. Great service and it looks and operates great!

We were referred by a neighbor after trying to fix our garage door on our own for two days and failing repeatedly. Worse....we almost seriously injured ourselves trying to do it. We decided to call in a professional. Central Coast Garage Doors fit us in the same day, after regular business hours, and for much less than we thought we would need to pay. They arrived on time, explained what needed to be done in detail, told us the price up front, and in a few minutes fixed our issue. Plus they gave us a few tips on preventing the issue! Not to mention the fact that they saved us from serious injury by continuing to try to do it ourselves. Well worth the cost and if we ever have another garage issue, Central Coast Garage Doors is our go to!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

Junior was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our 28 year old, heavy, wood garage door needed new springs, cables and opener. He started at 7:15 am and worked nonstop for 3-1/2 hours. Connected the WiFi control system to my phone, enabled the links to 3 cars plus the new outside keypad. Made sure everything was perfect. Could not be happier with his service and the quiet new opener with backup battery in case of power outages. read more

I dealt with Junior at Central Coast Garage doors out of Salinas. I was referred to them by a family member that lives in Salinas. Junior was awesome from the onset. I explained to him that I lived in San Jose and he said it would not be a problem coming down to replace my garage door opener. Ricardo was sent to do the replacement of my old garage door opener. Ricardo did a thorough job, knowledgeable of all aspects of garage door openers. He worked speedily and was a nice man. Ricardo showed me how to operate my new garage door opener and helped me set up the App on my phone. I highly recommend Central Coast garage doors!!! Also, they are reasonable. I called to get a quote for spring replacement. Jr Lopez asked me to send photos of my garage door and the springs. He gave me a preliminary quote and came out the next day. He replaced the springs and adjusted my garage door. He found that there was a crack in my garage door which caused it to buckle during the opening and closing. Instead of trying to sell me a new garage door...he reinforced the area of the crack. My door functions better than ever now. Jr is very knowledgeable of his craft and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. His price was lower than two other quotes and he is a friendly personable professional. Great price and great service! Thank you Jr! read more

Junior was super responsive to my request as a referral from a friend , and he is the most honest guy that you can trust. We have a tenant who moved out in Salinas over the weekend and the garage door was damaged. i cannot be there due to family emergency. Junior swinged by, examined the damage and quoted me price of a new door. He understood the challenge of the many repairs we have to deal with, he suggested wait a few days and see if he can get me a used door. The next thing I know is he called me over the weekend, said he can replace the door with a good used door, and it was half the price of a new door. He also helped to facetime me to do a walk through and make recommendations and referrals for other repairs. He is a God sent ! He made you believe that there are still good and honest people around. Highly recommend him and his service ! read more

A few months ago my garage door came off the rails and I only made things worse trying to fix it myself. A family member highly recommended Jr so I gave him a call and he responded quickly and resolved the issue. In the last month my door opener has been failing miserably. I contacted Jr and we scheduled an appointment. He showed up, on time, identified the issue (which I already knew - the ancient door opener needed to be replaced) and had a new one installed the same day. Junior came to our home to replace our garage door opener. After about 3 months, it has a hard time opening our heavy door. It appears he should have installed a better grade opener. After talking with friends, who recommended him, it appears we were overcharged for the opener (paid him cash)especially since it appears to be an inferior model. Also Junior said he would return with brochures with new garage doors, which he never did. read more

A trusted friend recommended Junior at Central Coast Garage Doors after he had work done on his garage door. I texted Junior, he requested a pictures and a description of the problem. My solid wood garage door had come off track and the cable was not re-spooling properly. The door weighs an incredible amount and I was afraid to deal with the dangerous spring mechanism. The door remained broken for over a year and we just got by using the other garage door. I feared the large cost of repair or replacement. Junior had one of his team in Santa Cruz the following week and sent Ricardo over to look at my situation. To my amazement and satisfaction, the repair was done in under a few hours and he was able to use/repair the door from the parts on site. I only wish I knew Junior and his Garage Door repair company sooner!! Fair price of repair and excellent service. Ricardo was a very competent worker and a good conversationalist. The work was only done yesterday, so I can't affirm longevity of repairs or guarantees, but my sense is they will stand behind their work. I can't rate them high enough. read more

Junior is the second person we called to repair our garage door. The first guy didn't do the job correctly since the garage door broke again after several weeks of repair. I just gotta say...i'm mighty impressed. I back up my driveway every day for 7 yrs without issue. The one time i go too far and bonked the door. Knowing nothing of these things, I looked up a couple to get estimates. First guy comes around - bus. owner not the actual worker - huge estimate for repairs, even larger estimate and encouragement to replace the whole thing. Junior comes over, I thought he was going to give me an estimate but he just saddled right up and fixed the damn thing! In and out in 20 min. What? Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and didn't try to screw me with unnecessary repairs. I'm a one-man operation too and know and appreciate the value of top notch customer service as the gold standard. Junior's got the midas touch. What i don't understand is Yelp hiding 5 other glowing reviews, take the time to read them and don't let Yelp get away with this censorship. read more

About 4 years ago, Ricardo (Junior) worked with me on the best type of garage door based on the hot climate in my area & budget needs. He is nice, professional, efficient, and produces quality work. I had a problem with getting my garage door to close the other night due to unrelated work being done in my garage. I called Junior after 8pm & he picked up right away! We face-timed and he walked me through fixing the problem, which was reattaching one of the cables. And if the issue could not be resolved, Junior assured me he could be at my house the following morning. That wasn't necessary. I was so thankful for his customer service as I am a single mom and didn't feel comfortable going to bed with my door open all night. Junior's work is solid and I 100% recommend him! read more
