I often don't write reviews but when a company provides you with excellent service in an expedient manner! They earn not only but business but my praises. We returned home today from visiting back East, and we weary with traveling. The last thing we needed when we got home was a broken garage door. Let's see today is Wednesday.... that's one of the reasons I don't have high hopes or opinions of service oriented companies. It's like when you need to go see your doctor, but their next appointment is oh 3-5 weeks. It's almost like in today's world we have come to accept long waits, poor customer service and sometime work that may or may not be professional. So thinking I had nothing to lose, I called the other place, Busby Doors. I placed my call sometime around 3:40 in the afternoon. To my surprise the call was answered by Joshua, the owner of the company. I informed him of my problem and I was expecting to hear, well we can't diagnose problems over the phone, we'll have to send someone out, diagnose your problem for a fee of course, then we'll tell you how old and broke your old door is and try every trick in the book to sell you, yes you got it, a new garage door! Nope! Not the case with Joshua! It was Sir you have a broken spring. We can fix that for you $289 which includes all parts and labor. Let me call my man in the field, Paul and see where he's at. I'll call you right back, worse case scenario is that I'll be there first thing in the morning. Again I was surprised when he called back in 5 minutes and said Paul is on the way to my house. Paul was at my door in 20 minutes. He was both professional and knew exactly what to do with the door. 45 minutes later, my door was working better than it has in 20 years. He checked to make sure everything was right with the door, tightening loose hinges, lubing rollers, etc! If you ever have a problem with your garage door, make sure to call them first! He gave me the option to fix it in an inexpensive way but I asked him to just replace the whole garage door motor instead.
