For a suit, for example, I came in with the thought I would need an extensive alteration for good fit. Turns out the fit was an issue of manufacturing. Lana honestly told me the suit was made incorrectly, and while she could fix the issues, I was better off returning it and buying another one. I know several places that would've happily charged me ridiculous money to fix the issues. Not here! Polite, timely, and honest. The best tailor in Madison!

I flew in from San Francisco to Chicago, and drove to Rockford, IL in the morning to attend a Wedding Rehearsal & Dinner & Wedding (the following day). I bought a dress last minute, the day prior to my flight, and I could only zip up mid scapular region of my back. Despite all my methods to zip this beautiful dress, I could not. I knew I was going to need this dress to be tailored. The only issue was I needed a VERY fast turn around time, as I needed this dress to be ready by 4 PM the same day! I called about 10 minutes after they opened, explained my situation, and was asked to come in. Immediately I was greeting by the friendly faces working there! They took a look at my dress and gave me a solution. The prices & rush fee were EXTREMELY REASONABLE!!! My dress was done within 1 hour of me dropping it off. And I felt like a princess!! They did such an amazing job, and I would not hesitate to fly all the way from California to Rockford, IL to get any of my clothes tailored. That's how amazing the service was. I received so many compliments on my dress (a House of CB dress), and the alterations made only further enhanced the beauty of this dress. If you are in need of alterations, I beseech you, GO TO SIMPLE STITCHES!!!! Oh, and by the way, if I want to remove the alteration, I can do so without any damage to the dress! And if I don't it is sturdy that it can stay as a permanent alteration to the dress! I wore this dress pretty much from 4 PM to Midnight, and it held up, perfectly!

She also charged me for a double hem since my dress was lined however, she never hemmed the lining of my dress but charged me for it. She offered to do it again but there was absolutely no way I was going to risk it. I also took it back to show the lady...all of a sudden she couldn't understand me, gas lighted me accusing me of bringing in a different dress (not the original) and told me she didn't do this work! She is awful! Workmanship is unacceptable and I had to have it re-hemmed elsewhere. AVOID Binh's tailoring! Please don't make the same mistake I made. I'm now hearing more and more people who have had similar experiences with Binh's. How they are still in business I have no idea. And her cash only policy is not forthcoming or honest. My son had picked up the tuxedos and provided them to us on Thursday morning, the suit did not fit and was a 43long. I immediately called as my younger son had earlier. We were both told it would be an extra $30 each for overnight. Since when do you charge the customer when you make the mistake. When we talked he was very adamant that the extra charge was going to happen even though the suit size was wrong. How can I argue when the wedding was the next day.
