I flew in from San Francisco to Chicago, and drove to Rockford, IL in the morning to attend a Wedding Rehearsal & Dinner & Wedding (the following day). I bought a dress last minute, the day prior to my flight, and I could only zip up mid scapular region of my back. Despite all my methods to zip this beautiful dress, I could not. I knew I was going to need this dress to be tailored. The only issue was I needed a VERY fast turn around time, as I needed this dress to be ready by 4 PM the same day! I called about 10 minutes after they opened, explained my situation, and was asked to come in. Immediately I was greeting by the friendly faces working there! They took a look at my dress and gave me a solution. The prices & rush fee were EXTREMELY REASONABLE!!! My dress was done within 1 hour of me dropping it off. And I felt like a princess!! They did such an amazing job, and I would not hesitate to fly all the way from California to Rockford, IL to get any of my clothes tailored. That's how amazing the service was. I received so many compliments on my dress (a House of CB dress), and the alterations made only further enhanced the beauty of this dress. I have taken my slacks to be shortened and "slenderized" and I have taken two suits of Shantung silk to them. They shortened the hems on the skirt and dress, shaped the dress to more closely fit my measurements, and shortened the sleeves on both the jacket and the coat. They also explained why one modification I requested would create negative "unintended consequences". After they explained their thinking, I could understand why the modification would have been a bad idea. I recommended them to my brother, who had several pairs of dress pants taken in. They even repaired a tear in a pair of jeans. The repair was so perfectly done that I thought he had purchased a new pair --- I was unable to see where the repair was accomplished. These people know their craft. I even left their business card with my cobbler (another endangered craft with the proliferation of athletic shoes). If you wear clothes with classic lines, visit Tad More...you will be pleased you went.

I also took it back to show the lady...all of a sudden she couldn't understand me, gas lighted me accusing me of bringing in a different dress (not the original) and told me she didn't do this work! She is awful! Workmanship is unacceptable and I had to have it re-hemmed elsewhere. AVOID Binh's tailoring! Please don't make the same mistake I made. I'm now hearing more and more people who have had similar experiences with Binh's. How they are still in business I have no idea. And her cash only policy is not forthcoming or honest. I will never ever go back.
