If there's one thing I detest it's when office staff deliberately withhold information. I called…read moreProactive Chiropractic to see if they took my insurance. They did and had an opening so I canceled a previous appointment and drove 40 miles to their office. Once there I find out that my medicare insurance won't pay for anything but the actual adjustment. So without prior notice, I was expected to pay at least $60.00 and whatever 'extras' the doctor decided I needed on the spot. While this can happen, it should NOT happen when the staff member asked if I had a Medicare plan and I said yes. She knew I would have to pay out of pocket when I got there and deliberately kept that nugget to herself. This was made all the more annoying since the intake forms she sent me to fill out were 14 pages long. When I challenged her about withholding this information after I specifically called for the coverage information she simply said they don't normally discuss it on the phone. Right. I guess that's because after most people drive there and wade through the ridiculously long intake forms they acquiesce to pay rather than start over with another doctor. This was deliberate on their part and I suspect a little too opportunistic. Never again will I trust this doctor's office for any reason. Provider letter of complaint to Medigold office soon to follow.

Treatment is always excellent and comprehensive, without any of the questionable practices I've encountered at some chiropractors in the past. My body is in better shape than it has been in YEARS, with increased mobility and a lot less pain. I currently see Dr. Miles, who is fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful any time I have pain or discomfort. The staff are great - very friendly and helpful, and helped me keep track of my insurance info when navigating my car accident. Since the pandemic, they've kept the waiting room clear, and I can almost always get an appointment within a day or two, and usually the same day when needed. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for relief!

Do yourself a favor and find someone else as he is not professional at all. The hearing aids themselves are about as good as you can do with the level of hearing loss that I have, but like all of them, are imperfect. Service at this office has been pretty good, but likewise imperfect. If there any men on the staff, I've never seen them. It appears to be an all-female office--just fine with me. One issue is that they have changed the audiologist I see without warning or prior notice a couple of times. (This also was an issue at another practice I used before, and frankly, I don't get it.) I now have seen the same audiologist there for about two years, and she's fine, and they seem to have addressed this issue.

Someone picked up the phone and disconnected the call, so I called back and the phone rang and rang and rang and then the call dropped. I tried a couple other times and the same thing happened. I tried Saratoga and the phone was consistently busy. I got on website with chat and representative said she would have someone contact me and of course that hasn't happened. I drove to Albany office from Latham which took about 40 minutes and told the receptionist what happened. She told me Castleton is closed rest of week. She said if I had left message she would have called me back. I reiterated calls were being dropped in her office. I was never given chance to leave message. I certainly didn't drive all the way over there because it was fun. She couldn't get me in today but gave me 8am appointment. I don't know what is going on with Madison Saratoga but I won't be buying any more hearing aids from them. Thanks for the response from the Office Manager, but when you see Customer Review Ratings of 1.63/5 on the Better Business Bureau for Madison Saratoga aka Hearing Life, then it looks as though many, many people, specifically customers, are struggling with respect for the company, apparently not just me. But, I do think it is The Hearing Aid business in general that is unregulated that is the problem. They also deal with the elderly, though not always, the hearing impaired and the marginalized due to their disability. Or in other words-the vulnerable.
